@@boshboshbosh1 it’s gas... Petrol is actually a blanket term for crude oil products... you can actually call petroleum based plastics “petrol” if you really want to. You calling gasoline “petrol” is like claiming ice cream is actually called “milk” because it was made with milk.

@@marsjam4117 Im big into knives, I just don’t have as many (as id want) as youd think. I have 2 pocket knives, and like 4 swiss army knives all which I use weekly. All of them under 100 bucks, and now im deciding wether or not the fixed blade I need is going to be the saddle mtn benchmade. Fuck my wallet, embrace fixed blade

The Opinel is the crown jewel in this collection.

My most expensive knife I own was the one my grandfather made back in the 70s. He's no longer alive. A high carbon ,fixed blade, clip point blade with elk handle. Made the sheath too. There is basically nothing worth more than it to me. It's the most expensive for sentimental reasons therefore is priceless.

I kept trying to throw it away but it would always come back... weird places like under my pillow or in my sock drawer. It's like the remote in Click. It won't go away until I learn some sort of lesson.

I got my mom an Opinel for backpacking because it's super light. The wooden handle assembly certainly isn't the strongest but they're still awesome little knifes. I use Spyderco myself.

The USA Demko AD20. Those are almost impossible to find. They make a less expensive one (still expensive) out of Taiwan called the AD 20.5. smaller and thinner. Great knife

I just bought a R2 D2 in desert tan. I read that you can use gun blue on D2 since It’s not technically stainless. I’m about to try that out. I’ve also heard how hard D2 is to sharpen but i didn’t have any problem, if it shaves with ease it’s sharp enough for me. I really really love mine 👍🏻

Brian Nadeau from SBD makes them and they sell the very moment they're posted. Prices start at $1600 or so and only go higher.

Sometimes I want to laugh at people who collect knives, then realize I collect guns and don’t really have any ground to speak on.

I love collecting pocket knives. But I’m pretty poor so I just make sure to look for decent quality and cool looking gas station knives. But of course I have a good amount of cool very durable ones too. Gas station knives aren’t really meant for every day use, they’re flimsy and break easily but they look pretty cool

Civivi and CJRB make some decent budget knives, definitely more expensive than a gas station knife but still pretty decent (~$50). I've heard good things about Ganzo as well, haven't had much experience with their stuff though.
