The Shaggy mod having scores that low is criminal. It’s one of my favorites simply for the idea of changing the game in such genius way. I know this mod wasn’t the first to have 6, 7 or even 9 key gameplay, but it was such a fun and interesting mechanic. Also, the songs were bangers, no one can change my mind

Personally never been a fan of most of the music in this mod, but I can't deny it's impact on the FNF modding landscape.

There is a V4 for the impostor mod and I personally think it's the best FNF mod. Not joking, it's actually really good. My favorites include: "Lights down" (really fun chart), victory and defeat (for just being good songs)

literally just watched the first part before this dropped

you should DEFINITELY play Blueballs Incident 2.0 if you're making a part 3. It is actually one of my favorite mods in terms of Storyline, Characters, and Songs.

Tbh, if the person playing had more experience (not saying anything bad, awesome video btw), i think the shaggy mod wouldn’t have been rated as low. once you get to higher level playing, the charts on the shaggy mod get really fun to try and fc. i still stand with the art in this mod being really below average, but the songs are also really good too. it’s not overcharted imo, the doubles are the only thing giving the song difficulty, and if you’ve played osu mania for longer than a couple days you should get pretty good at doubles. it also fits the fact that shaggy is like a literal god, but not in the whitty or dave and bambi way of insane overcharting with spam, just more complex hit patterns that you have to get used to. not saying anything bad, just wanted to point that out. awesome video guys!

Gotta say, seeing Hex get such low scores kinda hurts. I do admit that he's got a couple slow songs, but he's definitely got faster paced ones. One that I was surprised wasn't on the list was his last song, Glitcher. It a much faster song, and it's kind of like Whitty's Ballistic, so it was strange it didn't make the cut. He's also got other songs, but that was from an update that, if I remember correctly, was released for 2022/2023 New Years, so I'm not sure if that counts. The artstyle also gets better, since the game later gets cooler animations, Glitcher and its remix have neat sequences (the wireframe stuff was like the coolest thing in the community at the time, geez), and even fully animated cutscenes that look great. I'd say just don't try Detected. It might ruin your mood. But maybe give the mod another shot with some other songs.

this game reminds me of good summer vibes, and the mods even more so, since i used to play so many good mods in the summer of 2022, this was also the game that got me a girlfriend (only for like 1 year but STILL) it was pretty crazy just how long i was into this game for. the roblox games give me fond memories of just playing with my friends and battling strangers. also shoutout to kbhgames and gamaverse they were the real goats of fnf mod browser ports

If you ever do a “state of friday night funkin in 2024” video or something, you’ve gotta do the newer Retrospecter mod. It’s got so much stuff in it it’s wild. Not only that, but the Vs Ace mod takes place in the same universe (made by retro’s bf), and just got an update less than 24 hours ago as of this comment. Keep up the good stuff! Love seeing new fnf content popping up on my feed.

Hey really enjoying the series so far, would you consider to cover the Starcatcher mod for an eventual part 3? I have no clue if they updated it since I downloaded it around its release but unless they drastically changed everything its remixes of the base game in a more outer-space-y vibe which are really damn good, if only the first four weeks. (It does use the old kade engine if memory serves me right so I'm sorry for that) Okay so I just went back and actually listened to them and I recommend that if you at any point want to drop the mod (cough cough week 3) that you definitely check out it's fourth week because those remixes are the best the mod has to offer and they're amazing. And also I just remembered that there was this really fun golf mod with a fun little surprise on the second song :) it's literally just called FnF golf please check it out both songs are really fun

I really enjoyed the video, the Zardy mod used to be my favorite mod ever made (then Mario Madness came out) but I respect all of your placements. Except shaggy, that was criminal.

I'm a frequent rhythm game player of all types and I actually wonder if the Shaggy song charters could get more then 70% accuracy themselves it looked really cumbersome to play. Edit: the first song on Mikus mod is literally to tutorial song to every project diva game I have played.

If you're making a part 3, I have some suggestions to consider: 1. Mistful Crimson Morning- SpongeBob creepypasta mod. 2. Funkin at Freddies: Afton Week- FNAF mod. Both were made around 2022 but they are some of the best 👍

Hotline 024 is still as good as ever, huh? These two retrospective videos are good. I’m surprised that I haven’t really touched FNF content in a good while, yet quite a few of my opinions were similar to yours in those two videos. Those videos are great. honestly a *very* heavily underrated mod that is basically peak yet for some reason not really talked about is Trials and Tribulations-or VS Omega; it's a fnf mod primarily centering around BF and GF being sent back in time or whatever and some stuff happens and they rap battle a massive sword wielder protecting a cursed child who a corrupt kingdom wants to deal with there is more than that, but that's the main game essentially

I don't know if this counts as an old mod (it came out mid-2022), but Seek's Cool Deltarune Mod has a multitude of quality songs. Knowing Deltarune itself is honestly optional, though you enjoy it a little more if you know the characters. im pleasantly surprised at how well the old mods have held up! while i believe the quality of mods has only gone up over the years (at least among those that make it into the spotlight), mainly in terms of music (i dont play the games, im just a listener), many of them do lack the originality the old mods had. fnf based on existing properties can motivate ppl to look into said properties and expand their tastes, which is awesome! i can thank fnf for expanding my tastes! its just that some of them lack the charm of the old mods. id love to see an oc mod renaissance of some kind!

I do not understand why you gave Shaggy mod such low scores in artstyle and charting, first off they had to redraw Shaggy so it would fit into fnfs artstyle, and secondly "mania charts dont work well in fnf"? Fnf is notorious for having bigger arrows and a bigger hitbox meaning it is even easier to play mania charts. I do understand that it is your opinions and thats alright. You are fully welcome to rate things you see fit, however I personally do not think they make sense.

Ngl, giving Shaggy so low of scores for mainly the charting just because you decided to play the mania mode rather than the main extra keys mode (which is very well charted and what made this mod so special in the first place) is honestly really unfair to the mod. The final score does not do justice to the overall quality of this mod.

one of my favorite mods from FNF has to be vs Neon, mainly bc of how good the tracks are. I have Transgression saved in my main playlist. I would like to see Logic play this mod if he does another video like this in the future.

the blue guy from the entity mod is a weird case because his song, for those who dont know, is a cover of a song from another game. The song is Laser Beam, from the Persona games, and its not like it samples it, its just straight-up a cover or remix of the song. Its still good but its weird because I dont think any of the other songs from the mod are like that.

there is a lot of forgotten old mods they probably still hold up but for this video i would say yeah sort of
