A good cheese from Florencio, uses burrow to stop expansion. Cancels proxy hatch to deny then reburrows the moment he cancels. Uthermal isn’t used to moving Zerg or is prolonging a game. When he had all those lings at the door. Zerg tactic is to run them in, force spine crawlers to burrow then bile them down. He actually gave his opponent time to recover by shooting bile at a single crawler then backing off. We call it a fork move in chess with a knight. Do you stayed burrowed to fight lings or move out of the bile. To catch spine crawler is technique and timing. You launch 1 bile, force it to unborrow and move, wait for it to start burrow then launch another bile on it and a little behind. If you time it right, he has to wait to burrow then UN burrow his spine crawler giving you that extra few seconds for your bile to hit. If you can do it to 2 spine crawlers at the same time, your micro game is awesome. Sending in Zerglings is a distraction, run past spine crawlers, queens, force him to separate his death ball guarding the ramp.

I have an idea for a Zerg series (hard to count it as challenge/cheese), but Zerg play based on using dropperlords as much as possible (maybe nydus aswell). Baneling drops, Queen drop rushes, Lurker drops behind mineral lines/in their main, constant Ling drops everywhere when opponent moves out, dropping Infestors for fungals etc etc. A lot of Zerg units kinda lack much micro potential, but feel like you could be pretty creative with using dropperlords for different strats, think it could produce both entertaining aswell as unusual games

As someone who has never played SC2 before (I bought it years ago, but never played it), your videos have inspired me to try and pick it up. Have you ever thought about doing a beginners / basics series? It'd be amazing to see what you consider the most important things to do. Discussing a baseline such as builds / units / timings / macro / micro / keybinds and all that stuff. I think you'd be perfect for this as you're not only skilled and entertaining but also incredibly good at narrating what you do!

kzread.info/dash/bejne/n5p6w9VxoJjNZ7A.html ViBE's Bronze to GM series is an extremely solid introduction to multiplayer 1v1 Starcraft 2. There's a bit of an assumption that you've at least figured out the basics of controls (by playing the campaign, for example) but beyond that it covers pretty much everything, and does it in an extremely no-nonsense, simple way. However, there's pretty much one *super important* thing that ViBE considers more important than literally anything else: macro. If your macro is bad, you'll never have the time to keep up with micro, so even if you trade effectively, your opponent will just have enough stuff to kill you anyways. No matter how well you micro, 50 supply of marines will not beat 100 supply of stalker immortal with the economy to build back twice as fast as your marines do.

This was great! It's nice to see how to handle bizarre builds as someone on the lower end of the ladder
Hope youre feeling better and glad youre back. Great content as always
Love your series, great content, keep itup!
I just got into your vids, Thermy, and after watching so many Terran builds these Zerg proxy builds are hilarious!
Honestly uthermal is the most fun sc2 player to watch. The zvz was awesome, the opponent was incredible to be able to break out, altough I feel it was a bit because of thermy being greedy a bit. First time playing terran on ladder, went from bronze to diamond in a day, with 2-3 barrack proxy I saw from thermy. Insane.
Love this series!
As somebody who's never played StarCraft, I often have no clue what's going on but the gameplay and commentary is SO entertaining, I keep coming back! 😄

Just FYI you can download the first game completely for free . Still very fun although not as complex as SC 2

@@keachweder6217 Less complex is a good thing since my brain compacity is already full from other games lol. I will definitely download the 1st free one, thanks for letting me know!
Fun game! Thanks for sharing!

Droppolords to GM
Glad your feeling better
Man i freaking love this series the zvz had me chuckling

No matter how well you micro, 50 supply of marines will not beat 100 supply of stalker immortal with the economy to build back twice as fast as your marines do.
that 2nd game was a pleasure to watch hahaha !! like everyone else I'm enjoying this series a lot. Liked and Subscribed
That was definitely the best zvz of all time for me! Matches like this are why Thermy is my favorite Zerg player! :)
greatest youtube sc2 content since old day9 days keep it up please
Love this series, love the cheese!!
those games were fire! I love your energy :)
Great game brother! Very entertaining
I'd love to see the proxy hatch and contain with spines into a quick lair and slow overlord drops into the main, probably is bad but might be fun!
That ZvZ hurts my little Zerg soul. XD Keep up the good work!
when you had the contain up i was looking forward to mutas... wasn't how i expected it but very enjoyable :)
I want to say: i love your terran videos, but i also enjoy watching you play zerg and maybe protoss! Looking forward to the upcoming challenges :D
That ZvZ was a hilarious banger! 😂
Love your videos
It seems like the only thing he missed that last game were the upgrades and dronning up a little more, but the other guy did a little psycho move by upgrading instead of trying to find a way to get a drone out in the map so he could build another hatchery
Those were some great games
Happy 100k subs! Im prob a bit slow but i just noticed it.
that last game was one of the most interesting zvzs i have ever watched.
what a game the last one :D incredible !
Dude you are insane. I can’t even keep up with what your doing to improve my silver gameplay
Best content in KZread
The way your into starts out silent always makes me think my headphones are turned off for a second lol
In zvz you could do the proxy hatch cancel and build a spine on the cancelled creep. Not sure if that counts but it's a proxy hatch for a sec and has been played by pros like bly and one of the Korean zergs. Solar maybe? The idea is to plant it at his nat after his hatch first
I think if you didn't have all your overlords by his base getting killed and being in the way you could've held the contain.
great game! Loved to see that zvz!
I need to try it! =))
I would suggest that you don't have to proxy hatch. You just have to Porth Buildings. Of course vs P/T this needs a hatch, but not agasint Z.
Hi Uthermal love the content! 👋
That second game was wild
great to see you back to posting. don't push your health but I won't be mad if you get back onto the posting rhythm
I feel like your attitude has improved in negative (you weren't dower when the latter game started going against you, still lots of humor!) Great video Sir!
I love this series here thermal! I don't even play this game;]
I feel like the last game wasn't initially as lost of a cause as he was making it out to be, he said the zergs army was maxxed out but it looked to be about the same size as uThermal army. Not a zerg player so wouldn't know exactly but it didn't seem to be over at all.
that 2nd game was crazy
This is some Florencio Files sh*t. I love it.
You are making me install sc2!!! I didn't played since first release. Man... It is kinda cool. I really like how you are having fun, playing high mmr games. Not like everyone one else, with serious face, strange music and dead silent. Where can I find up to date builds?) I'm going in...
Oh Marc you silly goose 😂
Loved that abomination :)
It's okay to throw a game if you're fast enough to run ahead and catch it again Thermy!
I can't believe you had a hard-contain and tried to break him, when he had so much defense, instead of just droning. You have too much confidence ;p
I think that last match the guy was mad at himself for not making more mutas after they went down.
I can't believe you won that second game
This was fun lol
Keeping your creep on his side of the maps gives you vision from the creep tumors. So by killing ur creep, he just replants his and denies you vision

Yes, though with proper scouting it doesnt matter if they see you, if you have more roaches and engage well then you win. ZvZ is played with overlord coverage until someone gets mobile AA

@@TheMuffinman191 Yeah I understand that
ZvZ is rough for a spectator, a dark blob roach on dark creep make it almost impossible to follow the action. Not sure what blizzard was thinking
vs zerg i think its best to proxy a hatch next to your opponents natural and place some spines between the 2 bases :D
Dang, you might have even held the contain if you didn't throw away all those spines and overlords. Good stuff on pulling it back though!
Let's go!
amazing
using two hotkeys made me kind of giggle
Winter101 - first queen is Brenda, second is Karen :) Then maybe Susan... There is no such thing as "Brendas" :P
Protoss players when they see Zerg creep in their main: 👁👄👁
The 8th guy actually fought hard
what a great game
Can u put creep tumor on enemy creep? At 17:55 I seriously cant see which zerg is on which side.
Were these recorded before your hospital visit? Hope you’re doing better!
Amasing game :D
Más partidas como esa ZvZ anormal ❤ Lo mejor es que ganaste con la persistencia y espíritu deportivo (y biles)
He had plenty of gas to morph corruptors or mutas at the end before the big fight he just didn't use it.
could you try pretending been AFK and secret cheese the opponent, maybe during cheese you could try build a nexus near to enemy base with a hide nydus to connect the two bases and teleport units and workers when the opponent start the attack?
Over confidence is the worst enemy of man. But like all mistakes they are great to learn from. But these types of games are always fun to watch
Loving the zerg content
Showing off my new member badge :)
23:30 this is why Zerg mains hate ZvZ because anything can happen
judging by the last game, i dont think uthermal will be able to get too far in this challenge lol
That last episode was an abomination but it was a beautiful abomination lmao
I've only played like 2 hours of starcracft 3 years ago and yet here I am...
I wanna see a game were you make mothership while being Zerg.
more zerg videos [; its great to see pro terron brain play zerg with ur speed in things
