When going for unit kills with locust swarm, you can use your spready micro to manually land small groups of them in different areas. With that you get less wasted "overkill" damage where more than enough shoot one target (ex Workers) at once, it helps keep them from getting stuck behind each other, and it works towards negating enemy splash (siege tanks, widows, hellbat/car) - BONUS POINT ON SPLASH, you might drag it over enemy units.

While I do LOVE you for doing a challenge with a race that isn't Terran, I'd love it even more if you did a constraint that is relevant even in drawn out macro games. This challenge has insane impact on the game but it technically will lead into normal play if both players take equal damage. I think what I mean to say is vastly prefer "X and Y units to GM" rather than this kind of "crazy opening to GM" challenge. Still, so happy to see you putting out more content, you are my favorite source of SC2 content Thermy even though I barely play the game anymore. I hope you feel good and you know we really appreciate your efforts.

I like white a lot for zerg, feel like it looks really good, was kind of happy when you said you didn't know what color to switch to because I thought it would stay white, next time you do you switch keep white in mind, it's so clean on the dark brown zerg color scheme

Love these so much xD Swarm Hosts were brutal. Spine rush was hilarious.

I really love to see Nydus worms going crazy. It's so much fun. Nydus / swarm combo was very nice.

A thing about swarm hosts - you can research burrow and burrow 2 or 3 at some random place and keep sending locusts in. It's better to send in some at a time continuously, then it would cause the terran to not be able to go outside on the map easily.

15:50 - I would have had a few locust dive on the double-depot there for sure. They're always such an attractive target, I know how annoying it is to get supply blocked, it really slowsdown your progression so so much.

For ZvZ proxy hatch, I recommend trying a spine crawler rush, as you can plant them on enemy creep.

Proxy hatch vs zerg is great. Just build a few drones out of the proxy hatch morph them into spine crawlers and then march them onto the enemys creep. AKA zerg cannon rushing

Ravagers seem pretty OP in the early game. With or without proxy, I kinda feel that mass Ravagers would be really really good. High range, high mobility, corrosive biles, and decent damage as well. for what, 100/100? - is a really good unit!

8:30 when I got that bug, If I lose a game then It seems I am stuck with that rank for quite a while but if you win the next 3-4 games then I would rank up quickly back to my rank. very strange bug for sure. When It places me higher, I never seem to lose the shiny, clearly hard earned border

for what you were talking about at 8 minutes, you're right. I did 2v2 qualis with a person who was brand new, we won 1 and lost 4. Got Master 3, but with 2300 MMR. Ranking is a little broken.

10:10 I had a zerg try this exact thing. I built a forge and made a zlot, It got up but I lost basically nothing from the 2-3 roaches and I also had a probe on his side of the map and when he took his nat he didn't know I Was waiting in the shadows and I plopped down cannons and he lost his nat and then left the game

What if you Nydus Rush vs Random players? You'll have a slower expansion. But you can expand behind the nydus and generate creep from overlords.

I could be wrong, but can't you plant Spine Crawlers off of creep? I thought you could plant them down, but they slowly take damage since they're not on creep. The only problem is they move really, really slowly off of creep and can't be built off of creep, but it might be worth testing and keeping in mind for future Spine Crawler rushes if the creep is just a little slow to spread to where you need it.

You can start a hatch, cancel it, then quickly build a spine crawler on the remaining creep.

You must plant them in creep. If the creep disappears, they stay rooted (and start losing health). If you unroot them they will stop losing health, move really slowly, and won’t be able to root.

I like bright neon green for zerg

Ya when my MMR goes below 3000 I go from diamond 3 to bronze 1.. most games are against gold and plats tho.
