Just got my first mini K and totally agree about the quality. Glazing on handle is thicker on one side. I think the whole bag is lopsided and longer on one corner. Also the chevre is flaking next to one of the stitches. When you said this I was like “oh! Glad it’s not just mine!”

For me I still love the K20 as a person who loves the look of B35, B40, K35 and K50 relax. Since if I were to be a Horizon member I would totally order a gris cendre himalayan K20 with diamond for sure or a Birkin 20 sellier in himalayan with diamond. Having been able to see a K20 Himalayan I fell in love with how pretty it is.

Excellent tip about the wishlist. I don’t finance my purchases either but I’ve also gone overboard lately with my luxury buys. I think I’ll start writing down my wishlist and putting it somewhere where I can see it.

For non exotic I would really love to have a white evercolor b35 ghw and a fauve Barenia B30 in ghw.

im soo glad you cant get hermes bags off the shelf else I would have been the Not so proud owner of one (or more) mini Kellys. I have seen them so much now I feel bored with them and I removed it from my wishlist. although I still want the B35 for workbag.

What do you mean you got a custom strap made for your mini Kelly? I asked my local Hermes if they would make me a longer custom strap and they said they don’t do that

The MK is way too small for me. Smallest K I would carry would be a K28.

It depends..I think you can tell when someone buys a B/K because they genuinely appreciate the craftsmanship and it goes with their aesthetic or they only carry one as a status symbol 🫣

@@IamGPS so true. I feel like with more on the streets and social media, the same % of those that carry it as a status symbol translates to a greater absolute number of overdoneness (sadly mini K or otherwise).. 😟

exotics should be banned.

Bad advice. If you're lucky enough to be offered a mini Kelly, snatch it. If you don't like it, flip it for 3x the price.
