Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Instagram @itsthebenzman
Have you ever seen the prices and considered buying a Mercedes-Benz e320? As great and as beautiful as these cars are they have flaws. Would I ever buy this car again,,,, Yes. As I love Mercedes-benz. No other cars like them. In this video I talk about why I dont want my e320 Mercedes-Benz. these cars as daily drivers can be filled with problems if proper care is not taken care of.These cars are not worth the headache for the everyday daily driver if you don't have the money to repair. In this video I explain why!
At the same time the E class are great cars in general, So look out for these problems?

Every issue you just mentioned are non-issues. Ball joints are easily replaced. Headlights are easily repaired with a lil’ elbow grease and polish. Hit them with some clear, and your good for years. Radio can be easily replaced and or reset to factory spec. Other than that, it’s regular maintenance like any other car. Change the oil regularly (twice a yr. for me) and buy yourself a good scanner that covers everything and replace your voltage regulator regularly (I change out mine every 30k-easy to replace) 🤷🏼‍♂️ IMHO, MB has been the least expensive cars I’ve ever owned

People who buy Mercedes.... then complain skip out on routine maintenance. I know a guy with a S class bought it used... to cheap to use mobil 1. He uses penzoil and 87 octane...$MH..... These types are the ones that always have an issue with Mercedes.... My thing is DONT BUY A BENZ IF YOU CANT AFFORD TO TREAT IT LIKE ONE!!!

No kidding. Have you seen the photos of all of the high priced cars in Dubai they leave for dead? It's a shame. There are a ton of supercars, expensive Benz's, Porsche, Ferraris, Bugatti, Lambos, etc. They buy them, they can't pay their bills, so they leave the country and they leave the cars on the side of the road and in parking lots wasting away to the point where they are useless (due to sandstorms), etc. Here's a video, it's disgusting. kzread.info/dash/bejne/dpyMpaavabCTaNI.html

One of the most overlooked things on Mercedes is 1. Don’t buy first year production of a model. Let the bugs get worked out. 2. Buy one that was actually MADE in Germany. Yes you may have to sacrifice the newest model but the headache you may save yourself could be worth it. I’ve had 3 MB’s all Germany made. Loved every single one. Hardly any issues. Most serious was a fuel pump that died but that’s wear and tear, gonna happen eventually. Remember Fluids, Fluids, Fluids on MB. Keep that stuff fresh and you’ll love your car.

I bought an E320 at an auction and was referred to a good mechanic for breaks, tires , rims and tune up. The car is roomy and is very comfortable.. It has great bose speakers Because I drive the expressway each day, I prefer to drive it more than my other car. I am now looking for a shop to repair the dings and rust. I plan to keep the car and may consider will definitely buy this same car again.

I must be confused. The car is 13 years old, no? The only problem is the radio and fuel level sender? The rest of the complaints are standard maintenance items.....that car is in beautiful condition for the age! The 350 engine is truly problematic. My intake manifold on my ‘09 (one of two) failed and was $3000 to replace! Intake manifolds are not service items!

It also might depend on the year. A friend of mine that has worked for Mercedes Benz as a Service Manager for 25 years and then owned his own repair shop specializing in Mercedes. He told me that Mercedes changes their body style about every 7 years or so, they do facelifts in between, but when they do a major body style change, they need at least 1 to 3 years or so to clear up the major problems. So, be careful as to which year of car and whether it's a new body style or one that's been out for a while. So make sure you do some research on the YEAR of the car and which engine, transmission and suspension system.

It would also help to get the i carsoft ob2 scanner for Benz and it will tell you the error codes that you would need to fix. It looks like you need a speed sense to fix that brake issue. The engine mounts are 40 dollars for a pair and mad easy to install. A newer radio or aftermarket one would work a lot better.

I am a new owner of a 2007 E320 bluetec Mercedes Benz and my husband bought it for $4700 and it was only missing the trunk cover. The man who had this car took great care of it. No dents and hard to believe no scratches BUT when we got the car they told us it had been sitting there for a while. We did notice the ENGINE light on. We were told it was because it had been sitting there for a while. Long story short. They said if it dont go away come back and we can get it checked. Come to find out it was the glow plugs two were out. We took it to them this was a well known dealership and the were replacing all the glow plugs one broke inside and they had to order the tool. They sent it to Mercedes Benz to have it fix and something went wrong and the car had back firing and told me they could not fix it. That it was gonna have to be scraped! The car drove excellent when I got it. When I went to see my car it would not drive no more than 5 miles per hour. I was in love with this car they said they would give me my money back. I told them if they gonna scrap it how much for. They sold it back to me for $1400. Oh they messed up the engine as well. I got this guy from a small shop that is in our country side. Repaired my car new engine the works for $ 7 grand. So worth it. Runs amazing just like new. No problems. I love my Benz.

Look, these cars are for people who love luxurious rides and keep their car meticulously maintained. Power steering so light you can steer the wood steering wheel with one finger. Encased in Nappa leather and fitted with heated and cooled ventialted power seats. Distronic cruise control. Adjustable dampening shocks. Adjustable air suspension. Harmon-Kardon stereo system. You look up and see the silver arrow on the hood as you cruise in style down the block. Everyone knows you're the shit. More technology in these 20 years old cars than most modern ones today. M112 3.2L engine is one of the most reliable engines that came from the Daimler-Chrysler Era. Straight timing system, the RWD optioned cars lack the early 4-MATIC systems which make it cheaper and easier to repair. I work on these every day, the only real issues come when you don't maintain the car. Replace the battery, fix your oil leaks because they cause further issues if left unchecked, be proactive and replace your air suspension before it blows out and you really can run this car quite cheaply. These are luxury cars. And 2 decade old ones at this point. Be realistic and take care of your car and you'll never want anything besides another Mercedes after owning one of these.

Perfect exemple of a car that had not been taken care of like it sould have been.... sooooo many direction and suspension problems show that you neglected your "benz" or that youre mechanic is incompetent!!! (like your "service brake soon" warning by exemple... your mechanic should have been able to take it off if he knew anything on benz)

+Timothy jones yeah this car has had the fuel pump go out on me and left me in the middle of the street. The motor mounts, the radio does not work, the heater sensor went out. And its been squeaking because of the ball joints/ control arms. It has a malfunction on the fuel gauge display. And says change brakes when they are new. And yes they where with crysler at this time

Well really it’s a lot of electrical gremlins and the faulty fuel pump where the car does not display the gas and sometimes can leave you stranded and the radio isn’t that great, other than that pretty solid car

Ok, reality check. You bought a USED car. Ball joints, strut bushings , motor mounts are wear items. Not a manufacturer problem. I have an ‘08 E320 Bluetec that has 127,000 miles and was taken care of by the previous owner. Buy the best example you can get and have it inspected by a Mercedes specialist. As far as the comand unit goes check the audio gateway. It was an issue in earlier cars. In the future, remember that Mercedes does what is known as a facelift about two thirds of the way through a model run. Facelifts are usually improvements over the earlier models. If you decide to get an E350 make sure you research the balance shaft issue. It’s usually ruinously expensive. If you need any info let me know. I used to be an MBCA section President

Crank timing monitor and altenator only. It handles like a slot car and does 140 no problem. If I ever get a badass car like Porsche etc, I want to turbo the 320 and track it.
