Well said. 🙂 My husband shaves. He does this for me however, because my skin is super sensitive. I get a huge rash and swelling on my face if he doesn't shave. :( So he is kind to me in that way. I always feels sad for him because i know he wants to grow one. 😔 perhaps someday my body won't react so harshly.

I don’t mean to be intrusive, just wanted to tell since I didn’t know that for a long time as well: beards become softer and softer the longer they are. So most lengths that men typically wear are too short to really be soft. Since you talked about your husband‘s desire to grow a beard maybe the chances are that your skin won’t be irritated when your husband‘s beard will be longer, like a few centimeters minimum. I know it’s a hard time in between and maybe you don’t want to even try because it would be hard on your skin in the meantime - but maybe maybe it at least explains the trouble you experience. But might also be different for you so please don’t feel pressured to do anything that’s not right for your marriage ❤

@@Myladyinred999 Don't worry. I don't think you were intrusive at all. Just being caring. 🙂 I'm always willing to try if it will help him. I'm not sure how much longer he would need to grow it to see if it work. 🤔 But im sure with enough asking people with beards we can ask them about when their beards became less rough. I'm not certain it will work as my face even reacts to things that don't hurt others but I figure if their is hope then we should try. 🙂 Thank you for your kind words and concern. 🙂

Im not sure but i think woman can shave or pull her ingrown hair, and I think only eyebrows are not allowd except for medical reason or if they are too long

In Islam women have to shave all body hair except her head. Islam encourages women to be clean and neat!

A women can shave everything except head. And men cant shave beard. Both men and women can't tweeze or shave eyebrows.

Neither me nor my husband are Muslim, but even if we were - he's one of the men that physically cannot grow a beard. As a woman with PCOS I have more facial hair than he does but I remove it. Are there any rules for women in regards to their facial hair?

She should remove it as it's not natural for women to have facial hair. You're growing them because of an ailment and we're encouraged to take every possible step to stay "normal" and cure ailments. Not that disease reduces us in god's sight but it definitely is a test of this world.

Interestingly, some scholars don't see having a beard mandatory at all.

@@hatersrmotivators6477 well... the majority doesn't devalue the minority unless clearly evident through Quran. But yeah. In here? its not considered obligatory. Though, they do say don't shave with a gillet but instead with a shaving machine.

Most scholars say that Keeping beard is obligatory. But only few says it's not obligatory.

Duhh, of course it's not obligatory! Being an Asian Muslim, I probably share genetics with freakin Kim Jong Un. So I can't grow a beard. Is God gonna punish me for making me born like this in the first place? Let your common sense answer that question.

Same reason I quit working in the oil and gas industry.

There are 4 imams , out of which each muslim needs to follow one and stick to it. So thus beard concept is based on which Imam you follow.

Women grow beards too 😅

Thanks for mentioning that ❤ if I remember correctly some schools of Islam even make intersex people shave since they are said to be more on the feminine side even if they grow a beard naturally. So I was also a bit confused by the video 😂

Not much 😅 I go to my barber maybe once a month

i once heard my imam sahab told in a bayan ,angels throw the darood of person on his face who shaves or trims beards

Noooo! This only applies to men and their beards. As Muslims we are taught to groom everything else and keep tidy lol
