Respectfully asking. Is there a time (like after menopause) that a Muslim woman no longer has to wear a hijab or negab (sorry if I spelled that wrong). I understand a Muslim woman is under no compulsion to wear either.

Not every Muslim follows this. In fact, most don't. The roots of this are taken way out of context from the original story/ message.

Last one isn’t true for all Muslims. Being halal is different than zebihah. Zebihah is when the meat is slaughtered in the name of Allah, which is what they mean when they are referring to meat at fast food places that Muslims are allowed to eat at. Halal just means what is allowed. So not everything that is halal is zebihah, but everything that is zebihah is halal.

So I’m confused about “no-alcohol period” because in Turkey pretty much everyone I knew drank alcohol as long as it isn’t grape-based. I even asked someone about it and they said as long as it wasn’t wine it was ok.

It is expected that non-muslim environment is not suitable for muslim people, the same goes the other way too. Western people and Asian people who visit Muslim countries feel like they don’t belong there. So, it’s quite logical that a Muslim person would love to move to a Muslim country. I am very proud of your decision! Hope you will find a great place to live in. Hopefully this example will spread to other Muslims too.
