Assalamualaikum..I am a Malaysian..nowadays there are too many foreigners who want to come to Malaysia and want to start life in Malaysia..Malaysia is a peaceful and harmonious country of course not 100% perfect..but if it is a Muslim who wants to start life in Malaysia because to practice Islamic comfortably we are very welcome.. but if non-Muslims who want to start life in Malaysia by practicing western ideology (Liberalism) and to take the opportunity to live luxuriously in this country, I recommend stopping that intention and not coming ❤🇲🇾

👍🏻..true bcoz we malaysian understand the struggle of our muslim bro n sis living in the western country..the only things i hate is when they move here they tend to stay within their expat community not mingle with the local..my advice..we the malay a bit shy..they the foreigner need to take the 1st step

I actually loves when you use 'affordable' instead of 'cheap'. Coz while it cheap for tourists and foreigners, its still not really that cheap for locals from inflation and currency exchange pov. So 'affordable' i think a proper middle ground to describe a cost of living for people coming to Malaysia.

You have to go to other countries to appreciate Malaysia. For instance I lived for decades both in Saudi Arabia and the Philippines and from what I have experienced, Malaysia is a perfect mix or blend of both countries that I previously lived. A Muslim country and a tropical country. Their economy is on par or going into the right direction compared with the developed countries. If you ask me as a foreigner, Malaysia is a perfect country for me, Masha'Allah.

I just so love that you have found such acceptance in Malaysia. Many years ago I visited for several months when my sister was teaching in Kuala Trengganu. I was brought up in the Christian Faith but I found the acceptance and friendliness of the Malaysian people across all Faiths, absolutely heart-warming with zero discrimination. It resulted in me returning more than half a dozen times for extended visits, over the past 45 years, even though my sister returned to New Zealand 25 years ago. Friendships across different Faiths built during that first visit, still continue today.

Welcome to Malaysia. I lived in Canada for 8 years before moving back to Malaysia. I checked out your previous videos on the reason you moved to Malaysia. I'm sorry you had to Canada for reasons you couldn't control. I'm surprised to hear that Canada is no longer what it used to be. I hope Malaysia tick all the boxes in your checklist for you to relocate here permanently.

I'm a Malaysian living in Canada. We're not going to Starbucks or Tim Horton's anymore either. I've gone cold turkey. It's hard but whenever I'm craving some, I think of how much harder it is for the Palestinians 😭 Anyway, I visit Malaysia at least once or twice a year. I hope you'll find your tribe there and befriend the locals. You'll feel more at home and it'll make your life there much more enjoyable. Currently, I'm helping a couple of people who are planning to move there.

Well done for moving! Please could you talk about higher level schooling for people who have university age kids? What is the standard of university education? Secondly, the medical system: how good are the hospitals? Do you need to buy private insurance? Is it very pharma heavy or is the country open to alternative therapies like homeopathy, naturopathy, herbalism, etc? Third, jobs: are you guys working there or planning on starting a business? How difficult/easy is it to start a business or find a job? What is the paperwork for moving? How easy was it? Why KL? Have you explored other places in Malaysia? Can foreigners buy a house in Malaysia? Would it be lease-hold? Could they buy land and build their own house? Lastly and most importantly, my reason for wanting to do hijrah is to go somewhere that doesnt react the way many countries reacted during covid, i.e. no forced vaccinating, no villainising people who dont wear masks, no forcing people to isolate etc. How did Malaysia respond to covid and how intrusive was its govt with re: to the above?
