The clean cut look is definitely the best one. I love a beard on a man providing it is under control, clean and well groomed. I appreciate his initial appearance was for a role but it was very much the cave man look.

I think both looks have their pros and cons. You also could have had a haircut without cutting away so much and your beard trimmed. That would have been a very good option which I would have prefered.

But, to want to look like that intentionally is just bizarre. So please take the exclamations points and put them back where you pulled them out of.

I do lots of high and tight haircuts, but not many beard trims. One of the troopers comes and gets a skin fade flattop every 5 days.... religiously!

Looks younger without a beard, but looked 20 years cooler with a beard. Now he's just average, looks like an accountant, and blends into the background. Definitely pull more chicks with a styled beard - now he's a friend zone type.
