I guess my confusion comes when you say Record Label Creation. If you are an Independent singer/songwriter, is creating a Record label holding all your songs whether written or sung? Maybe the way I word this question is incorrect or correct.

So basically I shouldn’t have made a PRO account under my own SSN because if I want to collect my royalties I have to make everything else under my SSN n I’m more at risk for being sued and having my personal assets taken away? So should I delete everything off all platforms and setup my LLC before even dropping anything at all on my Distrokid account?

Question: So I have already signed up with ASCAP using my personal information rather then an LLC. I do intend to have a publishing company as an LLC. Is there a way to change my personal information to reflect the LLCs once it's created and have the EIN number? Thanks

LLCs are just the company structure you can use it for any type of company you wish. There’s no specific special LLC.
