Do FLYING COASTERS Live up to the Hype? - Tatsu Review

Фильм және анимация

Tatsu at Six Flags Magic Mountain was my first ever flying coaster, which may make me spoiled for future flying coasters. In this video, I give my thoughts on this ride and my thoughts on flying coasters.

Flying coasters are definitely a breed of their own. F.L.Y. is the one I've done, where I'm not a fan of the flying position, but I can still appreciate everything else it does and offers. Great review and great points!

FLY’s layout is definitely unique for a flying coaster. The prone position may not be for everyone but that’s ok! Hopefully you can get on a B&M flyer to compare!

my first flying coaster was FLY and while i didnt like it that much, bc it was a little uncomfortable, my second time flying FLY I got front row and it was pretty damn cool. My second and now favorite flying Coaster is Flying dinosour though, its just sooo intense!

Awesome you got to ride those coasters! Some have told me FLY is less comfortable than B&Ms like Flying Dinousaur once you’re in the flying position so that makes sense.

Yes, FLY is more comfortable initially, but once you’re in the fly position, I find Tatsu more comfortable than FLY. Btw, Tatsu was also my first flying coaster. It made all the other US flying coasters seem lame by comparison.

I thought six flags spent more money on x2, like double the money than tatsu.

You're actually correct idk why I said that. I thought I heard somewhere that Magic Mountain wouldn't be investing in anything larger than Tatsu for the foreseeable future but that may change.

Your video quality is so good. But your video does have not many views. Do you know why?

808’s videos have always been great. But I’ve noticed that coaster channels that explode with sub numbers are usually ones that put out content very regularly.

True. When college starts up again it’s difficult to put out full-length videos but I’ll try to do consistent shorts while I’m in school.

@@808CoasterLife Frankly, the life sacrifice required to reach the success of an Airtime Thrills or a Canobie Coaster doesn’t even seem worth it. You have to be really, really driven and LOVE making videos, and if you don’t have superhuman levels of that drive but try to achieve that regular success, then the usual result is terrible burnout at some point. If you’re lucky, you get to the point where you can make it a full-time job, like Coaster Studios, but that’s one in a thousand. I’m not trying to be a downer. I’m just thinking that the healthier attitude is probably making videos because you enjoy doing it, not because you’re determined to get half a million subs as soon as possible.
