I like this type of videos Niyaaz. These comparisons are always a topic amongst the car enthusiasts. Everyone has an opinion and/or different experience with the different brands. There are horror stories with all car brands. None of the brands are perfect. People like what they like. Just do your research before buying a specific brand and if what you bought makes you happy, then that’s all that matters. Thanks for video. I look forward to more of your content.
Great video!! Really appreciate the comparisons!
I own a chery tiggo 7 pro Distinction 2022 model , I must say did not have any problems with it and avarage fuel consumption, not that bad 7.8 to 8 litres/100km. I do miss the dct gearbox thou but adapted well to the cvt gearbox and treating the car for what it is a premium SUV feeling car, not a sports car. I enjoy taking it on the open road. Cruises nicely at highway speeds. No engine noise
As a Haval Jolian S "owner" , I 100% agree with Niyaaz Value for Money != Better Driving Experience || Better Car I would remove all the "gimmicks" and so called features from the Jolian for a better driving experience. The 1.5T and 7-speed DCT is way way behind where it should be in refinement and VERY heavy on fuel as well

Thank you Niyaaz for the great review, I am a vw owner, fan and it has been in our family history for centuries. I have been eying the VW Taigo, definitely I am considering it, the looks and everything does it for me.

You’re going to enjoy it!
I service my Mazda at Mazda Midrand(great service if i may add) ,they share a workshop with Haval and the amount of Havals i see come in on flat beds is craaaazy. From Haval GTs coming at 5000km with finished brakes and on metal to metal to Haval jolions coming with electric faults from LIGHTNING STRIKES. I will say the Haval H6 doesn't have many issues. Let me not get started on the p series . Mara ke let's all make our beds and lie on them.
I seen a Ford Puma yesterday on m5 and it looks awesome
The VapeStation going big ..love the car ❤
Can you compare the resale value between the Chinese and German brands
I can assure you this is NOT a TIAGO🤣

Lol love the new name of the car
🥲 that price though. Makes a Toyota Corolla Hatchback Hybrid looks like extremely good value for money
When did it change from taigo to Tiago?😅
Thanks for being blatantly honest all the time!
Good honest review, I prefer and also like the Taigo, esp over the T-Cross
Liberebil man !!
Sound system isnt too bad looks good too
I would like to see a review on the Ford Puma
Niyaas, easy on the bias commentary towards Haval. People need to stop comparing vehicles in different clases and rather compare on same pricepoint. You get what you pay for. (or rather don't get with VW currently) Take it from a VW fanatic. Currently an owner of my 3rd VW, being the owner for almost 12 years on the last one. It's an suv, and I'm going to leave it at that. Whilst (i have to agree) the driving experience is out of this world, the mechanical maintenance has been a total disaster. By far the most expensive vehicle to maintain I ever owned. Bought a Haval 2 years ago (yes I know, never thought my biased self would say this) and have not experienced any issues thus far. So there you have my testimony. Not all experiences are good and not all experiences are bad I suppose. Anyway a good review as always, cheers.

Vw is overpriced but its a dam sexy car❤❤❤❤
needed someone to say it, china cars arent there yet. my grant i10 has more get u and go than a jolion. the turbo lag on the jolion is almost unbearable . once had to take off from a hill with a haval, there was turbo lag , the turbo kicked in then the revs ran to the red line then when i changed to second there was nothing again, that day i told myself that those cars should be R220 000 FULL SPEC . they are just pathetic cars
No Niyaaz Chery's are good value for money

Agreed, however, does value for money outweigh longevity and reliability?. I too have heard horror stories about the Chinese cars. My theory: Too much Tech = Constant problems.

@dailinscullard7731 I would rather go for the Ford territory, which is much cheaper, the same power, and bigger . Although there are rumors about it built in China, it's still a Ford

@@jordanreagon7219 No.boet. Its not a Ford. JMC built with a Ford badge.

This chap is dishonest, if he checked the gains that all the Chinese have made in a short space of time, catching up with manufacturers who have been making cars since 1895 surely the evidence is clear, the Chinese will surpass these manufacturers
