Do Binaural Beats Work?? NEUROLOGIST explains binaural beats

Фильм және анимация

Binaural beats are a technique involving listening to specific sound frequencies in order to induce mental states, such as relaxation, sleep, concentration, memory, and creativity. Do binaural beats actually work, and what is the science behind how they affect the brain?

You still look great though, sleep deprived or not. People listen to binaural beats for one thing only.......to feel better. So, if they can find a binaural track at 432hz or higher, which consistenty makes them feel good. Then, the goal is achieved.

I've been using them for years and they work wonders. I do a lot of research before listening to any of them though first. I figured out that for myself, beta and gamma frequencies are too much. My sweet spot seems to be in an alpha-theta combo, as far as binaurals. When it comes to solfeggio, all of them seem to work for me, depending on which particular thing I'm using them for. Always do your research and don't just trust and listen to anything. This goes for subliminals as well. Sadly, not everyone on the internet has your best interests at heart. Most do, but some don't. God bless.

I've been using Binaural Beats and Isochronic tones for years as supplement to my BP Medications(which went from 3 meds and max dose to 1 at the lowest dose), and to help with my PVC's which tend to to come from anxiety mostly. I want to tell others about this, but I first needed something t help them o understand what this is. You explained this in a way I never could. After watching this video I went on to listen to some and I fell asleep like a baby after a little more than half an hour of joyful relaxation. That was so great because I have some anxiety lately and trouble falling asleep (usually in the morning), but this - it knocked me out like magic. The only problem is that I slept around 16-17 hours tonight, which is too much even for me. Anyway, I'll certainly experiment more with binaural beats, (hopefully I won't sleep as much) as they're a great tool for relieving anxiety. Thanks a lot, Neuragal! You've earned a new subscriber.

I love that you keep a objective and neutral Stance/Perspective in your Presentation and Research (or atleast so it seems to me). And it’s great that you let the viewer focus, Follow and really digest the info that you present, without distracting with fancy editing or constantly changing visuals. You also do a great job of not explaining and dumming down every single technical term, which would make the videos unbaringly long. So thank you 🙏🏼 and keep up the great work👌🏼

Thanks for your honest assessment of binaural beats research. The other two videos about negative effects were promoting their own or affiliate binaural beats for sale. So really couldn’t trust what they had to say about them. I myself listen to meditation tracks that I bought from Kelly Howell. She likes to use theta and delta for her meditations. I actually started to feel tightness in my chest. A few years ago, I injured my heart (diagnosed as possibly myocarditis) that still bothers me from time to time. I assume that’s why it bothers my heart, because of the previous injury. I also noticed that I was more irritable the next day after listening to her meditation tracks. I also needed more calories per day. So I stop listening to them. I will just keep using regular meditation and self-hypnosis tracks that don’t include binaural beats.

I am a sound healer and I can say that the right sounds can improve our health, bring us to higher awareness and much more. The golden ratio frequency is one of my favourites as it helps me raise my consciousness to a higher plane where I can access information, others call this channeling. I will also mention that when I started using frequencies I was a bit sceptic. This changes completely when you start noticing positive results. In fact, it was one of the reasons I started studying vibrational medicine.

I enjoy listening to binaural beats. One day I went into deep meditation with BBs on my headphones, and I began to see intense flashing, colored lights in patterns that pulsated in synchronization with the beats. It was really neat, and fun, and I was feeling great! Then I began to get a bit worried that I might have a seizure (although I've never had a seizure in my life... lol.) I removed the headphones at that point. Binaural beats are real, and have interesting effects. They should probably be utilized with caution, especially when one is 'new' to them.

I was quite surprised to hear about slow frequencies increasing depression and fast frequencies decreasing depression! You would think it would be the opposite, since slower frequencies decrease anxiety, and Beta waves increase anxiety. Wouldn’t anxiety normally worsen depression? If Beta waves cause you to ruminate about issues wouldn’t that just make the depression worse? And I’m really curious why slow frequencies would increase depression while they are relaxing. Could it be that the relaxing effect would increase a person’s apathy / lack of excitement and therefor stimulate depression? Interesting…

I think it’s because the faster beats are targeted to make you more focused, meaning if you’re focused on something you’re tuning out all other thoughts meaning you are not anxious. However, I think if you focus on those thoughts then you’re probably going to be more anxious. You could also make the case that the opposite would happen. The slower beats relax you more causing you to feel comfortable and not have anxiety. However, you could say that because you aren’t focused and more laid back, an anxious person would tend to start thinking more about random things. Maybe it depends on whether or not it’s trait anxiety? I think focus is the key. When you’re focused on something and only that thing, you’re shutting out other thoughts. It’s why meditation is so impactful, it’s the idea that you’re constantly focusing on something and shutting out other thoughts. Once you can do that, and you’re not longer focusing on anything and have an empty mind, you’ve got into a different state of meditation that I can’t remember what it’s called. But that’s the state of mind you try and achieve. I may be incredibly wrong so take this with a grain of salt.

There is a lot of popularity among younger people around "the gateway experience" tapes(hemi-sync). They seem to work on similar principals to binaural audio. I am a extremely skeptical of this, but did give it a try just to see what if anything occures. I did experience a few very strange reactions, but I can't help shake the feeling something nefarious or at a minimum irresponsible is being propagated. It worked wonders for me, for meditation and reaching deep states. But I did make few sessions for work focus and anecdotal evidence (I gave to few friends) suggests they work well. I was targeting 24-30Hz. I think going for 40Hz would probably work as well.

Thank you for an easy to understand video. I heard that binaural beats should be constructed to “phase in” to whatever frequency it is representing, because the brain naturally does? (As in the brain doesn’t just “skip” from one freq to another.) is this true? And if so would beta be considered the standard waking frequency? Thank you again

did you found the answer for this question? you mean the binurial beats shound be constructed depending on the brain frequency the person is on that moment , then you create the frequency that can resonate with that brain frequency? how can we mesure the brains frequency? i ll look into that now

I want to ask you about the use of binaural beat in influencing brain decision to pick kind of food. I saw a video too from a youtuber that produce binaural beat audio for stimulating healthy life. Is it really work? Or there's many aspects that can causing this statement? Thank you

IT’S ENTIRELY POSSIBLE that i‘m now going to get back into Morning-Meditation and start my sessions of with a view minutes of Binaural Bests. But only after my daily Hillsprints that I do in my Vibram-shoes (their great). Perhaps I‘ll end my morningroutine with some nice, dark red Elkmeat (superhealthy for you, it’s like you’re eating a superathlete). So thanks again for the great inspiration and information! I'm partially deaf in one ear and often found binural beats did not work fully for me when I was a teenager. I'm turning 30 soon. They never worked much for me until I got an in ear hearing aid for my more deaf side to amplify the sound at the correct frequencies to level out the perceived pitch and volume of the sound etc. I can wear headphones over the top of that hearing aid easily as it slots into the ear canal. After that I found binural beats to be far more effective. I guess my brain wasn't receiving enough audio info for it to work before hand. I'm no expert (clearly) but getting a decent in ear hearing aid seems to have made binural beats usable for me by :)

How ever I have seen countless others of Binarual Beats Frequencies and Sublimal Frequencies for mental health, and women's health conditions like have dealt with such as annoying ovarian cyst or abnormal uterine/menstruation and severe PMS which is a pain in womb. Menstruation is not always a very friendly thing to deal with. I sure do wish for a miracle pregnancy to have a good break from my annoying painful periods. Have had menstrual cycles since 11 years old. Hopefully a miracle cure all for my ADHD/ADD, depression, and anxiety /stress.

Already aware that if it does cause self-fertilzed eggs reproduce in the woman of Binarual Beats or Sublimal Frequencies in Britt Sublimal Frequencies, Baby Subliminals, or future sublimal or Binarual Beats Frequencies does cause the impossible things to become possible or more than just true, take note that is still no easy way out of prenatal care of the standard STD testing, etc.perhaps go ahead and tell your gynecologist to do a whole homome test, STD, and the other tests regards to blood to have complete total blood tests. Just request all tests during the well woman check up/visit which should include HIV, and other lab tests to build up a history record. A drug test could be tested for illegal substances only once. Binarual Beats Frequency Audios can cause side effects regarding which ones you choose to listen to as well. You have to believe that the impossible things are all possible or true with any Binarual Beats Frequencies or Sublimal Frequencies because it's technically the science of the subconscious mind. Some take longer than others, just as with different people it's short or instantly, etc. If causes a physical effect on the body then eventually it's working when tingling sensation because of the vibrations, etc. Depending on how Binarual Beats or Sublimal Frequencies are programed or created yes they actually work.

Other ones out there are as follows: 1. Gastric bypass sleeve and other weight lost Binarual Beats/Sublimal Frequencies. 2. General health and well-being 3. Finally the very ones that are created for the impossible things to become possible or true! Depending on the individuals who listen to them. 4. One more thing or two, there's also academic, dreams, goal's, and so many others. Manifestation and the law of natural attraction the call it. 5. Finally people have to believe that the impossible things to become possible all true and real in your own dreams linked behind the subconscious mind and the science behind our subconscious. I believe in the impossible things are still highly possible in different ways equally and my respective opinions, thoughts, and viewpoints. So yes to some degree of extent of believe that impossible things are still highly possible regarding what sublimal frequencies audios or Binarual Beats I listen to beside the self fertilization ones. Perhaps there's probably a high possibility of a finding a sperm donor on aside and still listen to the Binarual Beats Frequencies and probably have two separate pregnancies without intercourse within that way.

Still people who discovering and exploring different kinds of things besides self-fertilization. The superhero, superhuman, weight lost, and many others are also being created. Thanks for the positive comment! Blue light filters can help decrease neurophysiological alertness when used before bedtime. Blue-wavelength light from electronic screens can stop the pineal gland from secreting melatonin, a major sleep-related hormone. Although I don't have a pair, I do turn on the blue light filter in my phone in the evenings. There is also some evidence that higher frequency wavelengths can damage the eye although I am not really familiar with this data.
