My father, a few days before he died, was pointing to angels he was seeing in the room...he was so peaceful at the time! I never knew my father to be spiritual, but more and more I recognise now that he was.

I like the openness. To not get locked in certainty that all you can perceive is all there is.

MV Summers talks about the "Mental Environment" which I think is relevant here. Our minds can be influenced. "In the mental environment there is no resistance except the resistance of countering ideas." It's a food for thought that I feel is important, the existence of the mental environment...

In MV Summers' books Wisdom from the Greater Community, Volume 2, Chapter 12, there is a chapter on Self Expression and the Mental Environment and another chapter, Gaining Strength and Influence in the Mental Environment, Chapter 10 from a book, Preparing for the Greater Community. We are subject to a lot of incoming influences. We live in a mental environment as well as a physical environment...

I was at my cottage about 20 yrs ago with my friend - who was not particularly spiritual. It was nighttime. She was asking about my spiritual life and suddenly everything went pitch black - we couldn't even see our hands in front of our faces. Then a light appeared and it took the shape of what you would call a fairy. Tiny, wings and I somehow knew what it was. That disappeared and then something else appeared. It was huge and luminous...gold. It had massive wings and I knew it was an angel. That disappeared and then big, bright eyes appeared. I knew it was an Ascended Master. The interesting thing about this experience was that it was witnessed by someone who was not particularly spiritual at that time. It was life changing. I believe we were being shown that, in fact, we are not the only game in town.

I lived in a Beautiful home that had several spirits within. They were children and a Native American who beat a drum periodically. These occupants would knock on the ceiling and walls between rooms and floors. My children would hear conversations in the quiet of the night, find objects on the floor, turned around and other proof we were not alone. We were VERY PROTECTED IN THIS HOME. We were never afraid.

​@@usr909 the neuroscientist sam harris had an experience while meditating where his consciousness started to expand and include the bird outside. i do think we are filtering these things out with the baby in the bath water, perhaps because of our crap experiences with religion and inability to merge it into our paradigm. how many scientists have got as deeply as him into buddhist meditation and with control of thoughts?

i woke up from a nap one evening and saw a being that was made of light. everything about him was light,,his face and hands where made of the same material as his robes.light...i had been in despair and i assume he came to comfort me..he telepathically told me to *perservere*..

I saw an Angel, one time when I was heavily into angelic meditation and was connecting with arch angels, I was in the Dominican Republic with my mom and grandma. My mom and I would go to the field behind our villa which was fairly vast and wide to hangout in the sun; there was a little hut with two chairs. We would sit down, smoke the islands tree and just relax in the sun, one day after a deep meditation, we went out in the dark and we were smoking but all of a sudden I saw an blue orb with a gold star in the middle of it floating in the field some distance away. I asked my mom if she could see it, she told me no and she thought I was talking about the golf cart on the field behind the orb but there were trees separating us and that cart so I knew she wasn’t seeing what I was seeing as what I was seeing was on our side of the trees. This orb felt like grace, love, and peace. Seeing it made me feel, relaxed, protected and watched. I went online on my phone IMMEDIATELY, to look up what an Angel shows itself as and low and behold… I found that angels show themselves in the form of a blue orb with a gold star in the middle. I cried lol.

The artist and poet, William Blake whom Rupert occasionally references referenced seeing angels as a child - as many children do before they become ‘adulterated’ . Blake was reprimanded by his father for talking of such nonsense and this was allegedly his first realisation that such sightings were not normal.

I'm 74 year old male who has studied spiritual matters for many years, but never considered the idea of a "guardian angel" until recently. I now talk to "my Angel" as I really have come to believe there is a force in my space that has the role of helper. I do not have an idea where this "angel" came from, and I'm not sure that is important. One hint for me: there have been numerous instances where my eyes were "diverted" to an item I had lost or needed to be reminded of, as though some force was directing my sight to what would be of benefit for me. I'm working on this new possible reality, and even if it does not lead me anywhere, I feel pleased to think "my Angel" is here and ready to help......

The sign of a genuine teacher is the gracious humility and integrity to admit that not all is known or Known by him or her - and by extension any human experiential journey. All teachings from the beginning of time are imperfect, they cannot cover all aspects of C/consciousness - they are partial facets of the Whole -- Rupert has stated as much in his own way in some video). I watched Rupert subtly shift from a kind of "stricter" or narrower Advaita perspective over the arc of his videos from years ago through a willingness to fold in other perspectives or aspects such as the one discussed in this video. And to even say, "I don't know." All the while staying true to what is being shared through him, the "Direct Path" as he describes it.

I believe this talk bridges a major gap. If the human mind can create an overlay to reality that narrows it down to almost something like a virtual reality survival game, one would assume that the less constricted consciousness of an awakened human being is not, in terms of "consciousness bandwidth", the end of the road, so to speak. NearDeathExperiencers regularly speak of the experience of unbounded consciousness, direct telepathic communication, no time-space etc.... And, yes, angelic beings, too

Hey Rupert...Re: The "jiva in the whirlpool." The whirlpool is a nondual abstract image indicating "confusion" (if I remember correctly). I think I read that in the Upanishads but a swami might have told me (or both). In psychic transition there are stages between abstract thought and direct (clear) seeing/hearing/experience or guidance. I am clarifying this stage from direct experience but you can also reference this stage in "The Atman Project," by Ken Wilber. Anyway...when you transition into psychic stage there is a mediating type of abstract thinking where Vision Image or Vision Metaphor is seen but you may not be familiar with the metaphor or image so don't understand the meaning. In this case the Jiva in the whirlpool means the person became confused about consciousness and attention drops back down into a material focus. So the whirlpool is not "consolidation" although it has a bit of that "feel". However the whirlpool is psychic stage metaphor. You can see it as an abstract image representing "confusion". You will find images for psychic transition in many lineages...there might be hosts of images...but you might not understand because you can't see & hear yet or you do not yet have a psychic teacher who can guide you through. I have seen abstract images from Sufis, Buddhists, Taoism...on & on. So when you see them you can look up the image on the internet many times. I just go online and Google the meaning of xyz image in mystic traditions or in xyz lineage. Most of the time the meaning will pop up...in fact you can probably double check the "jiva in whirlpool" and I will look for it also to see the Upanishads comments. Following up: I found it. It's on "Maya: "The Whirlpool of Delusions in this Creation: How Maya creates separation between the Supreme Being and Jiva." Guess I better read that. Thanks guys.

@@terefefeyssa877 We most definitely DO experience psychological clock time. And the space-time continuum is most definitely felt and experienced on this human plane of existence. Of course it is theoretical, but on that space-time fabric we could feasibly travel 'back' to 1990. In the grander scale we wouldn't have actually 'travelled' anywhere. For both us and the people of 1990, it would still be 'Now', as it always is. And, in 1990, this ^^^ is what Eckhart Tolle looked like. 🤣🤣

Hello rupert i had a meditation its just being still and keeping your eyes still naturally you just learn to weild the focus, the mind.

I personally have not seen otherworldly entities. But in order to experience them, I don't think it is necessary for them to exist. In the physical world, there are only photons, electromagnetic forces, sound waves and so on. So the world of our experience is clearly our own creation. Since the brain has the power to create the world of perception, it can also create everything else. How "real" these creations are can be debated.

Great talk. I find it interesting that most religions depict some kind of good angels and demons in their art, pretty much the world over.

Absolute, perfectly distilled word. I sometimes think of the space encountered on DMT as a mirror displaying the true face of God. Although the image reflected is constantly morphing between faces and modes of being, the awareness of all phenomena stays fixed. I highly suggest practicing meditation while on psychedelics, encountering this exact phenomenon is common and repeatable. I truly do believe that psychedelics originally helped pave the direct path (Soma) Side Note: You are not separate from that which induces rapture or complete and total awe, formless entities appear within awareness. Existing purely as the awareness in which the entity appears is the most surefire way towards not getting lost in the story. Wrote the side-note as I had seen most people in the comments completely lost in the story

@@axeltranscends2124 It doesn't indeed. liberation or realisation can be better described as an experience in which all the realms and entities dissapear. the little self as in the body dissolves and at the same time, time dissolves :-) Whats left is our true nature which is hard to explain as it can't be grasped by the mind. I think that for an enlightened being there is no desire whatsoever to investigate other realms, in fact when such a desire occurs it might even be a bad sign. On the search for the ultimate truth the path doesn't guide you through other realms, if it is so then there is still a desire for something else then the ultimate goal. Maybe that is the difference between a mystic and an enlightened being.

​@@innocenzz I had an awakening 5 years ago (psychic from a little boy). This awakening came with the most intense awareness, bliss and much enhanced psychic ability (I did many readings for people at one point). What changed over time was I realized I wasn't that enhanced state either and after these years have stopped being interested in these abilities or insight or so called higher states. You realise you are apart from all states. In fact 'you' have to be present before any states can be. All states come to me. I'm just not bothered what happens. Peace and a knowledge that is not in words is the outcome so far for this body and conciousness.

That doesn't surprise me. Rupert has a philosophy derived from his distillations of other religious/spiritual thinkers. It's very 'mind' based (as a localization of consciousness). This is outside his realm of focus or experience.

Many densities , negative and positive yet all illusory ... but all a relevant Tone Poem .

I’m curious to know if any of you(those who have seen this video) have had these epiphanies-realizations-understandings before seeing the video. Yesterday I was thinking about this subject and reached the same conclusion. It happens to me often, and I find it very interesting. Has anyone out there had a similar experience?

Often - when I am conscious. Unfortunately I still get caught up in every day life and stress - it takes effort for me to remain calm, collected and connected. I also find that the internet babble gets in the way of stillness [I work online and am bombarded with information day after day]. When I turn this thing off and keep it off for 8-12 hrs plus - deep thoughts happen and things are more easily understood. The flipside - - - the information I seek is mostly only accessible to me online... Catch 22...

Anyone that has done plant medicine Knows there are many “other” levels of beings there to assist, if open to them

What should be added in the consciousness only model is that the "infiltrating ignorance" the malevolent beings and evil in general would all still stem from infinite consciousness! Many in the comment section do not seem to understand that....they seem to think there is consciousness AND malevolent beings.....nope, this is wrong. Consciousness is the provider of ignorance, the malevolant being, the evil spirited being, the murderer, the rapist etc.---at least according to the model.

Yes that is right. Infinite Consciousness would not be infinite, if it excluded "evil". That would make it a duality, and therefore not infinite. Everything comes from infinite consciousness. But interestingly enough, if you look across the comment section and what people seem to pick up is: There is the good consciousness on the one hand and the bad evil-spirited beings on the other hand trying to disrupt the eternal piece of consciousness. This has been my observation in non-dual circles a lot---there seems to be a deep-seeted duality. I think for most people it is just too difficult to accept that the murderer, rapist, child abuser, war criminal etc. are all infinite consciousness, taking on different roles.

@@LarsTaunus I think a big part of it is how teachers often describe the Absolute Consciousness as "Good" or "Love" or "Peace". But they also mention these are not the love and peace the mind knows. Not a dualistic love and peace. Not a love that has an opposite. It is not something the mind can grasp. It is just the nature of awareness when the mind is quiet. But most people look at the teachings and cling to what they wanna know or see such as "oh consciousness is love", without realizing they split consciousness into duality and are attaching to a dualistic love that has an opposite

The danger in explaining this so briefly is that the casual listener will take this interpretation of alternate forms of consciousness and project the constructs of our human consciousness onto it. For example, even Rupert suggesting that the other mind could be "malevolent" in the same way that some humans minds are is a projection. How likely is it that, in such a different shape of consciousness, something akin to malevolence exists? These other forms of consciousness would have to be utterly alien to us, utterly outside of our conceptual understanding of our own human consciousness, to coexist with our own consciousness in a way that is imperceptible to us. This isn't an explanation for how the descriptions in biblical works of humanity can exist -- those are just imagined empowered projections of the eddies in the greater form of our own consciousness. Assuming other forms of consciousness would match the shape of the eddies in our own is kind of silly.

I believe the being is all that is or its infinite so anything possible is potentially real. Attention makes things manifest with some time. The question then it's if something is relevant for you cos anything can be realized.

esoteric teachings on the deva or angelic kingdom might be of interest to some people. here are some texts that might be worth reading - devas and men - A treatise on cosmic fire by Alice Bailey: there is a large section on devas the sanskrit word for angels, devas means shining ones - Geoffrey Hodgsons books on the fairy kingdom he has two books on this I believe and they are quite easy reads - Invisible helpers by charles leadbeater might be of interest to some people as well, it is a good read That's all I can think of, hope it helps.

Anything that appears in the mind can be real, because the mind is the symbol of eternal creation. Any mind is just the infinite consciousness in motion. Thank you Rupert.

How can anything appear in a non-existent mind? There's is no mind anywhere and has never been. What you call mind is nothing but, what Consciousness does. If anything appears, then it can only appear to or in that which is conscious, which would be Consciousness Itself. But, that wouldn't be true either, according to Rupert's own claims. Rupert believes, that Consciousness being infinite in its true nature, It cannot know or perceive anything finite such as form, like the body or the world. So, the question is , In or to What does the body and the world appear? Infinite Consciousness or mind? It certainly couldn't be infinite Consciousness which cannot know form. It certainly couldn't be mind, because mind itself is nothing but an activity and an appearance only. These presentations are nothing but beliefs and assumptions based on old religious beliefs and ideologies with frequently ear pleasing concepts. Nothing more than forms of Self Deception. When properly challenged, questioned or examined, they either run away, lash out, or display more ignorance. The question remains. To or In What do finite forms appear? Infinite Consciousness? Finite mind ? It certainly cannot be finite mind, because only Consciousness can know. Whatever you answer will show only more ignorance, because, the whole thing is built on blind religious beliefs and ignorance. We can never be too careful, when It concerns the Absolute True Nature of ourselves and Existence Itself.

Self/Knower/I am is by its own definition already deception. Nothing good or bad about it, but it can be seen through. No one in their right mind believes they gave permission to their parents to birth them and to grow old and die. So obviously no one is control of anything, is there? Is there a chooser or doer though? 😂 It’s just what’s happening, unexplainable - full stop. it’s a total mystery, and everything is that mystery already, from a drop of rain to me being late for work this morning. Even to say that everything is just spontaneously arising would be grossly overstated.

Can that same all powerful God now go ahead and lift that rock? The answer is YES, because he is all powerful. It's a paradox. Both possibilities exist not in-spite of each other but because of each other. All you have highlighted above is a paradox that highlights the limitation of language. Trillion of cells in your own 'body'. More 'lifeforms' on Earth alone than we can accurately 'count'. Planets, stars, moons, galaxies - each dancing in an most likely INFINITE universe. Yet one species comes along (humans), who decide to create a language. Let's use English as an example because we are talking in English here. What does our language need to discuss? Our world view. We do not see the world from the view of a fish, or a lion, or a bird, or the sun, or the planet Mercury... so we create a language to that suits the world around it. We cannot 'smell' oxygen. We cannot 'taste' the colour red. We cannot 'see', 'touch' or 'hear' quark particles. Therefore, we quite naturally developed a language based on our own VERY limited senses. For instance, we 'accurately' describe the rainbow and the colour 'spectrum'. But we humans ONLY see 0.0003% of all light. Therefore that rainbow is only relevant and 'accurate' for our massively limited human viewpoint. And so is our entire language system. If we could suddenly 'taste' carbon dioxide we would also add that to our 'highly accurate' description of the universe. We have tried to talk about Ultra Violet and Infrared light, but cannot talk about the almost INFINITE spectrum of colours that we have never experienced. Our language doesn't cope with paradoxes and neither does the human mind. Bottom line: paradoxes are an essential component of consciousness/life. Let's not try to describe an infinite universe using twenty-six jumbled up human-made letters and five vowel sounds. Because that's all the English language is. And just because it appears to your finite human mind (using highly limited language) that the body cannot appear in infinite consciousness because it 'cannot know form' does not make that correct. The body does not even 'exist' in the way our limited eyes 'see' it anyway. All you need to do to prove that is grab a microscope and zoom in to 600,000,000 magnification on your hand. All of a sudden, that hand of yours is 'just' a bunch of dancing atoms. No fingers, no nails, no skin. Just dancing particles. Zoom in another 7 billion and inside the smallest particle that constitutes your hand you'll find... drum roll... nothing. No 'thing'. Even people who have had Near Death Experiences struggle to describe their experience given our limited language and words. They often end up sounding silly or whacky, and that's because there are NO words for the experiences they have had. And that in turn is because our words describe and relate to our human experience, not 'other worldly' experiences. It seems to me that you are massively hung up on what 'mind' means and what 'consciousness' means. Ditch their definitions and investigate through meditation. Mind is a four letter word and consciousness is thirteen letter word. That's it. Call mind 'egg' and consciousness 'blue'. Makes no difference. It's still there and it remains unaffected by our attempts to help it understand itself. Our ancestors couldn't even speak, yet they still lived and gazed at the stars. Our words are limited labels for things the finite mind will never grasp. Ever. So ditch their 'meaning' and dictionary definition. Quantum physics show us that paradoxes are real at the quantum level. Atoms can be and ARE in two places at once. Our minds cannot conceive that this is possible, so there's little sense in trying. Ditch the definitions that you currently believe to be opposing (because they're not). Then just meditate. As the saying goes: no one ever got wet from the word 'water'. Experience and 'feel' it for yourself. You won't find answers, you'll feel them. And if you tried to explain that afterward you would find yourself having to use frustrating paradoxes because that is all our limited human language allows.

@@mattthompson4836 That was a lot unpack there. Thanks for sharing your thought. My very first meditation into the nature of Existence Itself was when I was in college. That was over 25 years ago. Only to realize that It is a grave error of Ignorance to Equate Knowingness, knowledge or conscious reflection with Existence Itself as It Is in Itself. That fundamental error runs rampant in these non-duality circles, and new age circles. You see, when we watch little puppies play, we can't help but, to appreciate their innocence. The reason why we value the innocence of the puppies is precisely because, the puppies being innocence themselves do not know their own innocence being. Real innocence doesn't know that It Is. But, that's the Real Charm of Real innocence. What Rupert and others alike in these circles are doing is like telling the puppies to know their own innocence being. The moment the puppies come to know their own innocence being, and claim their own innocence, the puppies begin to suffer from the dead knowledge of conscious reflection, and no longer display innocence. Being Innocence and knowing innocence are not the same thing, nor can they ever be equated. Existence is always Primary, knowing of Existence is always secondary like a shadow. That's the Real Charm of Existence Itself as It Is in Itself. That's what makes Existence Pure Innocence Itself. Paradoxes or non-paradoxes all belong to Knowingness or conscious reflection, but, Not to Existence Itself as Is in Itself. When the puppies come to know their own innocence being, it may help the puppies survive better, manipulating and deceiving their lost innocence thru knowledge, but, it's done at the cost of losing the Real innocence and the Charm. We can never be too careful when It concerns Existence Itself as Is in Itself. Take care!

It's an interesting question when we know that physical reality is basically not very real in deeper level and not even the universe is locally real says science. We also examine ourselves, what kind of beings we really are maybe spirits having human experiense who knows.

some call these dark ones our Loyal oposition , always looking for our blind spots and weakneses to mount an attack. Always pointing at what we need to put some atention to..

I wish Rupert could explain why I see Orbs / Light Beings 24/7 with my eyes literally everywhere I look, They are to me conscious in their own right moving independently and at my request through thought or asking , I do believe they are just out of frequency of most people to see, but my thought was because they are not human therefore incapable of malevolent thought.

How does ignorance of the mind lead to the level of despotism we've seen in this world? Many people are ignorant, but that only causes them to make stupid choices, not evil ones. What actually and really makes someone evil?

To explain why evil exists even though the source of everything is one Infinite Consciousness, itself all good, could it be that evil only exist in the realm of Form and physicality? This was caused by the Fall into duality when Consciousness attempted to experience an objective state. In the realm of spirit, only good exist at the center of Consciousness.

@@usr909 interesting answer but this apparition took place more than 12 months later ,Henri told me via telepathy ,remember I was to get married in August ,I realised that it was the end of August ,everything is well .A hour later as I was trying to remember his name ,again he appeared and said laughingly via telepathy ,Jacques its’Henri ,how can you forget !The experience was definitely not coming from my mind ,external to my mind !

@@usr909 how do you explain that I was not thinking about him at all ,I was in the shower when he suddenly “appeared « ,Henri had been a client not a friend .What was so uncanny is that although my mind was “seeing “ him it was “outside « of my mind ,totally different from thinking about someone .

@@usr909 whatever the cause ,I experienced as a sudden ,uncalled for ,totally unexpected appearance who had a personal message to convey to me during the month of August which was meant to be his wedding .Since he had passed away he never was in my mind ,you can give all your pseudo scientific explanations ,it does change not anything to my Experience .It was sudden ,out of the blue and so real ,like watching outside of me .

@@usr909 of course I have let go was just recalling this unusual experience like when years ago I was praying in a church and suddenly I felt a real presence coming to me from the tabernacle .All the experiences I have had always happened out the blue totally uncalled for and although obviously connecting to my being but exterior to my being. I don't need help ,I know for sure that we live beyond physical death which is just a minuscule moment compared to LIFE !

Are we considering the very dangerous possibility of these malevolent beings directly controlling our lives and guiding us to forget our essence, without us knowing? This might mean severely serious consequences

In many (indian) scriptures there's a analogy about the Chariot which respresents our being in a way. for example this part from the Katha Upanishad : "Know the Atman (Self) as the lord of the chariot, and the body as the chariot. Know also the intellect to be the driver and mind the reins." and "The senses are called the horses; the sense objects are the roads; when the Atman is united with body, senses and mind, then the wise call Him the enjoyer." Ultimately these possible "malevolent beings" dwell within consciousness and therefore arose from the Ultimate, Brahman, the Absolute, God or which name one prefers. If someone is unawakened or ignorant we can say that the lord of the Chariot is asleep (this is a bit paradoxical because it can't be ignorant nor asleep) the state of ignorance is just temporary until one's consciousness has ripened, matured and eventually result in Self realisation. Before this Self realisation the Lord of the Chariot seems dormant (although it isn't) and therefore the chariot is somewhat uncontrolled. These so called malevolent beings can only control our lives (or the chariot to follow the analogy) as long as we're ignorant or unawakened. When we have realised the Self we know for certain that we're not in the body (the chariot) but that the body exists within consciousness (which the Self is) in the same way we know that we aren't the intellect, nor the mind, senses etc. The Self which is formless and eternal finds or recognizes it-Self thru some-thing else like the body. But there is a sort of forgetting that happens by which the mind is able to make us believe that we are the body, the mind etc. This identification has to be stooped to gain Self realisation or enlightenment. The whole part of forgetting, controlling and maybe even misleading is part of the game of life as it is explained by Krishna in the Bhagavad Gita. where Krishna explains Arjuna about the Guna's. To make a long story short what i'm trying to say is that as long as ego (as construction of the mind) drives the chariot we're prey for malevolent beings, just like politicians do, marketeers, family members even and in many times our own minds like addictions for example. When Self realisation or enlightenment happens the Lord of the Chariot has taken its rightfull place. after that there are still malevolent beings that try to manipulate or control the body etc, but since the awakening there is no identification anymore with that body, ( Our consciousness resides in a higher place so to say) There is no one, no being (malevolent or not) , or any-thing that can harm our true Self. In the whirlpool model, why do we need sex and birth, why can’t life forms just spin into the world.

Every talk, Every discussion is an effort to understand the very Nature of Reality.This whole thing needs to be seen for what it is. There's nothing non-dual in this, as how these beliefs were formed in the first place. Although, Rupert's model is a Consciousness only model, Rupert actually believes in two separate Realities of Consciousness. One infinite Consciousness that can never know forms such as body and the world, and another Consciousness in which the body and the world appear. Rather than acknowledging this fundamental error, Rupert commits a further error naming the second Consciousness as mind or finite mind and claims that it is the finite mind that knows the finite forms such as body or the world. But, then again, that would be another fallacy , because, he repeatedly claimed that Consciousness is the only one that can know anything. This is called Self Deception. We can never be too careful when It concerns the Absolute True Nature of ourselves and Existence Itself.

The truth may be difficult to translate into words, so if you take everything too literally and as absolute maybe you'll miss the point? One time he says one thing, another time he says something else that sounds contradictory, but the answers he's giving could all be relative to the questioner and the questions being asked

@@axeltranscends2124 That's how most people justify their blind religious beliefs in defense of their preachers. I think it was the Buddha that told people to never believe and accept what anybody ever says, without fully questioning and investigating. I think that advise is still more than valid in today's world as well. Rupert's understanding is based on the old religious ideology , wrapped under non-duality label. Take care!

@@axeltranscends2124 My very first meditation questioning into the nature of Existence Itself was when I was in college. That was over 25 years ago. Only to realize that much of these Consciousness, Awareness, Knowingness models were nothing more than a mixture of religious beliefs knowingly or unknowingly mashed in with conscious reflection due to the human configuration we inherit. Equating Existence Itself with any knowledge of conscious reflection or Knowingness is probably the greatest error that runs rampant in these non-duality circles. The only reason we value the innocence of little puppies, is precisely because , the puppies being innocence themselves do not know their own innocence being. Real innocence doesn't know It Is. But that's the charm of Real innocence. What Rupert and others alike are doing in their own ignorance, is like telling the puppies to know their own innocence being. Replacing the Charm of Real innocence into a dead knowledge of conscious reflection. The moment the puppies come to know their own innocence being, the puppies begin to suffer from the dead knowledge of conscious reflection and no longer display innocence. Knowing of Existence or knowledge of Existence can never be equated with Existence Itself as Is. Existence Itself is always primary, knowing of Existence is always secondary like a shadow. That's the Real Charm of Existence Itself. When puppies come to have a knowledge of their own innocence being, the cost is losing their innocence. It may help the puppies survive better, manipulating, and deceiving their lost innocence thru knowledge, but, it's done at the cost of losing the Real innocence. We can never be too careful when It concerns Existence Itself as It Is.

In my understanding awakened beings are not necessarily mystics, but all mystics are awakened. The mystical faculty is like any other particular talent or ability in that it is a gift, similar to having a gift for scientific discovery, writing, computer science or giving Satsang.

​@@Mandy-rl9vc Hi Mandy, As I see it a mystic is someone who has a sense of communication with beings who are not physically present. It could be a loved one now deceased or a highly evolved being like Mother Mary, Ramana Marharshi or Lord Jesus. It would seem that we all have the innate ability to communicate in that way, but some people are more interested in cultivating it through practice, or just sitting quietly and allowing it to unfold.

@@laurencehomolka1927 I would agree that not all awakened beings are mystics, but also not all mystics are awakened. As you said, some people have an innate "talent" for mystical insights into the universe, with special talents or whatever, but that has nothing to do with being Enlightened. Someone may be able to communicate with entities from higher dimensions, but this does not mean they have embody the nondual Truth of Absolute Consciousness. They are still two completely different things. Mystics are still operating in duality.

I think the big question is, are we stuck being only in form again and again or can we remain formless without localizing after the body is layed aside? Like, Godmode.

In my experience we're not stuck in form. I once transcended form and was pure formless awarenesses. I chose to come back to this earth plane to finish my book of life. It was my own decision. I wasn't stuck but completely free as the truth of who/what I Am.

The illusory experience of 'we' *is* the apparent 'stuckness'. Forever (timelessly), there's potential apparent 'stuckness', but it's only apparent. Godmode is all there is. The appearance of localization is Godemode being apparently localized. What may fall away is the experience of being a separate, stuck, localized individual as being real. Still there appears to be localization, but there's no one there anymore (and obvious there never was). Like a lucid dream.

I ask not to criticize, in fact I appreciate your sharing greatly, but as someone who's been at this a while, I would like to know if this is something that you submit to because that's what it means to surrender to the now, or this is something that is viscerally known and had a quantifiable shift in experience that you can point to and say "here's how I came to Know this." For example, I had literally learned how to have an out of body experience and whether it was grace or desire, I had the experience of the out of body experience pretty quickly. I'm learning and applying self inquiry, studying A Course In Miracles, meditating, listening to non-dual teachers, watching my thoughts as the awareness who see's I am not the thoughts themselves, but I seem to hear this "no-self" concept or "nobody here" idea and it seems like it's a tricky one to take on experientially. People say its "just this" but this has a "me" that seems to be there, regardless of awareness of the body or not.

You overestimate science too much. Forget about other things they havent even been able to measure things like human thought patterns or where thoughts are generated etc till this date. All we have is physical tools to measure physical things. Its quite pathetic really.

I can say this from experience: I've had 2 "out of body experiences" as far as I can remember within the last 36 years. I have no choice but to conclude that beingness or existence is not restricted to only a physical body. It became obvious to me that since "I" can operate as a life force without a physical limitation such as gravity or with the ability to pass through other apparent forms like a "table", then there is an entire other realm of possibility that is shut off from everyday "normal" awareness that still exists in the abstract nature of mind. What I'm aware of seems to eminate from mind since I was still aware beyond the body. If I can comfort you with anything, it will be to allow yourself to be open to more than just what the physical senses report to you. Just like how Rupert said there is only a narrow band of visible light the eyes can report out of the huge wavelength range that exists, same too with bodily experience in contrast to anything else that can be conceived of by abstract mind. This body seems to serve a purpose in this moment, and you can use it as a means to further yourself from everything (if there can even be such a thing) or you can use it to remember your connection with everything. Utilizing both purposes will pull you in opposing directions and wont really serve your mind peacefully. I think brothers like Jesus or Buddha or anyone you view as an icon of love were really onto something with forgiveness because while you harbor grievances either to others or ultimately yourself, you are feeling discord within.

They are real! Jesus claimed they are real over and over again. Scripture declares they are real. This is why person-hood is very real and so is the self. If I have to choose between the words of Jesus or Rupert I'm going to go with Jesus every day.

@@nicolasaybar5318 A belief in the words of Jesus, although I have experienced paranormal activity that I once witnessed with a friend present, and other activity I believe to be demonic. Just like I've never experienced Heaven, but trust from the scripture and the word of Christ that Heaven is real. Jesus in scripture claims he literally came from Heaven.

​@@dba4292 There's no evidence he was insane, and every testimony of his life and works confirms he did miracles. Even his adversaries and the people who didn't want him to be popular acknowledged he did miracles. If he was just an insane guy with no paranormal acts then history would consistently record as such and present him as just a normal spiritual guru like Confucius or Socrates,, but multiple sources all confirm the same things with consistency. No history claims these things were made up and that the miracles weren't witnessed, which is what you would expect if these things never happened. If they never happened the whole region where Jesus was famous wouldn't have been aware of any miracles and so wouldn't have spread the word of them. Historical methodology would in no way suggest Jesus was insane. Same with the resurrection. History shows the body couldn't have been stolen as it was guarded by Roman Guard. The disciples were firsthand witnesses to the life of Jesus so either they witnessed his resurrected body or they didn't and made up the whole story. This means they either died for what they knew firsthand to be a lie or they died for what they firsthand knew to be true. No one dies for what they know to be a lie so the latter must be true. People may die for what they believe, but the disciples died for what they knew as firsthand witnesses, and that's what makes Christianity stand out from all other religions. The authorities didn't want anyone believing Jesus rose from the dead, and that's why they ordered the body to be guarded, because scripture records they remembered Jesus saying he will rise again. If the body were stolen from the Roman Guard then all the guard would had to have done was said the body was stolen, find the body and show everyone he was really dead. History never records his body being retrieved, which should have been easy if he really didn't rise. Besides this it would have been near impossible for the disciples to steal the body from a bunch of Roman soldiers in the first place. These are the disciples that ran away like cowards whilst Christ was being condemned so no way they built up the courage to take the body from Roman soldiers, as they obviously feared being flogged and crucified. The only time they ceased to fear death was after they seen the Risen Christ. After that they were martyred for their testimony of the resurrection.

Sorry. This is utterly ridiculous. There are never "minds," whether "human" , dog, or cat... or alien. All of it is just data/programs. There is never subject/object, so there are no thinkers, perceivers, or experiencers. There are just concepts/data. The one impersonal belief in objectivity says "i" to each of its concepts, as each of its concepts. When you refer to the "localization" of consciousness repeatedly, you begin to believe that there is, indeed, localization of consciousness. But that is an impossibility unless you're going to argue for the existence of matter, i.e., finitude.

@rupertspira I shlt you not this is a 100% genuine story, if this hadn't happened I'm not the type of person to make something up so I can be mocked.... From my experience/experimentation, I believe psych3delics/mediation/sound frequencies breaks down the barrier between our conscious and subconscious mind, allowing our conscious mind to experience our sub conscious thoughts, feelings and memories... however I also believe, in our subconscious mind we can access the universal consciousness... One of my first truly breakthrough experiences, during my own experimentation was this..... the words/feeling/communication I was experiencing, felt as if they were coming from someone/something/somewhere else... """"" Hey we've been waiting for you....... don't be scared...... don't be scared....... your family is here with us..... you don't really know him well, but he's family, he's family...... it's (then proceeded to tell me a name) he's safe, he's here with us, he's your family don't worry, he's with us"""" 3 days later I was with my mum and we were talking about our family and I was asking if any of my older family members had caught or been effected by c v..... at first she said no.... then after a short pause she said her cousin... with the same name I had heard/felt/experienced 3 days before had been in a coma for 4 days with pneumonia and died the day after my experience.... I was gobsmacked and instantly began to feel an incredibly sadness this was one of the most profound experiences of my life... I had only ever met the man a few times and never really seen him or his family in my day to day life or on social media as I only use this, there had been no mention from anyone or way of me knowing about his predicament in the weeks prior. I now have an ability to see this enegry/static/hazey snow all around me... while staring at anything I can make it I appear in my vision, depending on my conscious vibration at the time, I've been able to form whole living scenes from this energy/static/hazey snow, they aren't super clear, but during another couple of sessions, I was staying at a b and b at the time and the owners son also lived there, I didn’t talk to him as I didn't really like his character, anyway I was seeing a motorbike, very clearly and being told stop looking it's a secret, twice this happened, then a few days later his friend pulled up with two motorbikes in his van to drop off at the b and b...... after much thought and some research, I can only conclude that our minds are like radios and have the ability to tune into different frequencies, that allow us to effectively experience different inputs into our senses/brains. I was a hard-core atheist before this.... now I have a new found sense of.... enlightenment amazement, fascination and desire to discover the world to which is there but we cannot see or experience, not in our normal state anyway. Peace, power and freedom to all the psychonauts out there.

🌷💌 I also feel blessed ❤️to have the input of my group of teachers and spiritually awakening friends. Although they are anchored in different traditions ; their collective wisdom looks to connect rather than divide while being aware that no one has all the answers. I saw an Angel, one time when I was heavily into angelic meditation and was connecting with arch angels, I was in the Dominican Republic with my mom and grandma. My mom and I would go to the field behind our villa which was fairly vast and wide to hangout in the sun; there was a little hut with two chairs. We would sit down, smoke the islands tree and just relax in the sun, one day after a deep meditation, we went out in the dark and we were smoking but all of a sudden I saw an blue orb with a gold star in the middle of it floating in the field some distance away. I asked my mom if she could see it, she told me no and she thought I was talking about the golf cart on the field behind the orb but there were trees separating us and that cart so I knew she wasn’t seeing what I was seeing as what I was seeing was on our side of the trees. This orb felt like grace, love, and peace. Seeing it made me feel, relaxed, protected and watched. I went online on my phone IMMEDIATELY, to look up what an Angel shows itself as and low and behold… I found that angels show themselves in the form of a blue orb with a gold star in the middle. I cried lol. It was beautiful to see that.
