Hey everyone, I hope you liked the video! I wanted to add some additional information to the video: First of I was playing on a outdated version of ATM8, my version was 1.0.19b, in which elephants still had 5.000.000 Health. That has been patched in newer versions though. However the strength of the weapons is replicatable in the newer versions just as well ^^ Secondly as shown in some of my newer videos, gems can be upgraded to an even higher level.

12:45 Tool Crafting doesnt work in my ATM8 Version 1.0.11, but why ... I did everything as shown in the Video But I have a guess: In my JEI it says "Mixing materials is disabled by the config" when i hover over any silent gear blueprint. I hope someone can help me with this...😢

This is the single most useful minecraft video I have seen in years. I have looked for a good video detailing Silent Gear building for years, and always been sadly disappointed. There are several that will tell you the basics of how to use the tools, but not a single video actually talks about what materials to aim for or which work best. Bookmarked and subbed.

Something that's helped me immensely while I started exploring Silent Gear is the Accelerate spell from the Roots Classic mod. It also doesn't take too much to time or effort to invest in. The Runic Tablet serves as the guide book for this mod, and all you'll really need is to follow the steps for making the spell, making the Crystal Wand, and setting up the altars and ritual table. The spell serves as a castable Time in a Bottle that uses Roots' own mana resource that doesn't require any boosts or equipment like Ars. You can cast the spell on any block that ticks and it will speed it up, alongside also stacking with multiple casts. There isn't an indicator for how long the spell's duration is on the block, but you'll notice if the spell is wearing off just by observing the change in speed from the block.

Another thing that I would like to add is that the current version of Roots patched a bug where, when casting the spell, the spell’s effect would be permanent, including how many times you casted the spell on the block and stacking the speed up effects. The only way you would reset was by breaking the block and placing it back like normal. However, if you downgrade the mod to just the version before it, the bug would still be present. Of course, that means players would be exploiting said bug, but it’s always up to them whether or not they would allow themselves.

You can actually cheese titanium by putting ink sacs in the dissolver and then getting titanium oxide, which can be put into the dissolver again for titanium. Put that titanium into the combiner, and then you'll get its dust, which you can smelt into the ingot. It's super easy. You just need ink sacs.

@@Batlas yes the chemlibs titanium has been completely removed, it’s not only the squid ink, also mystical essence and the bee, you can’t make this titanium anymore (in atm9) it was done because of gregtech star I expect.

Titanium can be had cheaply and easily, you need a dissolver (two pistons, two magma block, four iron..) and you run squid ink through there and then send the titanium oxide it makes through it again. Then take that result (vials of isolated titanium) into the chemlibs compactor (same recipe as the dissolver above but substituting two stone pressure plates For the magma blocks..) and you get titanium dust. Smelt that and you’re done. Then tear down the chemlibs machines and stick them in a chest, they’re lag blocks.

@@EpicEnchants 👍 I think it takes two squid ink to make one titanium ingot. Maybe four, it’s been a while since I last did it. If you need a lot of it (you don’t..) then there’s a bee for that, probably a mystical ag seed too.

for some reason in ATM9 putting the vials of isolated titanium in the compactor does not work, seems to be like the only element that doesn't work

@@mango7683 hey mango I’m really sorry to hear that, it was working in atm9 only a few builds ago. They’ve (kinda) broken the titanium bee recently too, it was making ingots but now it makes some other gregtech titanium stuff I’m not onto yet. I can tell you the mystical ag titanium seed is Woking great so if you can just get four ingots together I’d recommend making a seed for it. Hopefully it’ll be sorted in the next update or so, make sure to file a bug report it was working until quite recently. Good luck. Ps do try breaking a re-placing that compactor, it may be jammed up with some buggy data or whatever. Edit… hey maybe you don’t realise, it takes 16 of the beakers of titanium to make one dust, make sure you have at least a quarter stack in there. If you have less it just sits and waits for more. One ink will make 8 vials, so you need to do an even number of ink sacs. Edit #2. Nope. They broke the titanium essence too. Jerks, I have 20k of the stuff in a chest. Now it’s useless. Don’t worry, it won’t happen to you, you can’t even make the seed anymore. I’m afraid your problem is no accident, the recipe to make titanium dust from the vials is no longer in jei. If you click on the titanium dust there is no way to make it. Team atm does not want you having the chemlibs titanium ingots anymore, they can’t be had in current builds of atm9, if you really want it you’ll have to roll back a few versions. I’m sorry. I’d say it has come about as they were finishing up the Greg star, gregtech titanium appears to be important for that mod.. Lot of bad decisions in atm9, I walked 50k blocks in the other looking for the dungeon today, no sign of one. The no fly zone thing is a very poor decision imho, thinking of bugging out on atm9 and going and doing 7 or 8 for the 15th time.

thank you for this explanation. ive used tconstruct tetra and silent but silent was always the last choice outside of packs with ice and fire because the fused ice and fire metals were just a easy choice.

Don't know if it's worth pointing out but most of the damage is being produced by vorpal, vorpal multiplicatively times (by a random factor based on Enchant level) the damage on the final calculation of damage applied by the other enchants and traits on the weapon. That's why your game lags a little on hit, it's calculating vorpal effect. Only mentioning it because vorpal is neither apotheosis or silent gear. Still a great tutorial on how to make a top tier weapon though 😊

ty man, I never used silent gear because with all the trait descriptions it was a bit confusing. I was focusing too much on the stats the materials give, instead of looking at DMG and attack speed etc. I'm playing atm9 and all other guides on the internet use mixed materials, but in atm 9 that is discabled by default. I build my weapon with the mats you showed and even without all the grading and enchants it is very good.

I think by default you have to use the same block as you make the Tyrian steel in to alloy materials together

I think, that damage came from current hp + vorpal. Vorpal enchantment multiplies damage x10. Current HP damage, for example, is 14%. So together it is 140% when vorpal strikes in the first hit. No matter how tanky mob is it is one shot. Also axes have piercing ability so even if a mob has armor, it will die instantly

as a chemist myself i realy enjoy the chemlib mod actually, didnt know ti was so powerfull in silentgear lol. Currently building a periodic table with drawers :P titanium is pretty easy to get early game actually, just look for black stone/basalt in nether, mine a shit ton of it. put it into a disolver to get TIO (Titanium oxide) and dissolve that again to get pure titanium, put that in a copactor for the dust and smelt the dust and you got yourself an ingot. Titanium was easier for me the ender pearls with junk gear as my nether portal was right on top of some basalt. With vein miner its pretty easy to clear all black rocks Also bricks and the like work, so mine everything with a black colour for titanium :)

If u combine refined obisiadion wi9th titanium and make the tool with it u do more damage and combine redstone with glowstone for tip for even more damage

I'm not willing to do an ATM Star to craft the catalyst, so I used the tier 3 normal catalyst alongside with the starmetal catalyst, but I think getting a MAX grade is not possible without the ATM catalyst, worth mentioning

No, the "usual" tier 3 catalyst works as well. Succesfully maxed everything out (but handle since there's no titanium in atm9), I was lucky to get one maxed out after 2 tries

Something that would be 'extremely' useful would be a video detailing how to automate the materials upgrader. I am finding there is a LOT of hands on chores if you want to upgrade significant quantities (like for armor). By the way, I am not sure why you are recommending Enderium, as it has equal stats to Crimson Steel (which is easier to get) but Enderium has VASTLY lower durability.

Interesting video idea, I will check what I can do. About recommending Enderium, I personally dont go to the Nether or End until I am geared up so for me getting a Ender Pearl is easier then getting Crimson Steel. Additionally Crimson Steels Attack Speed is lower by -0.1. But I totally agree Crimson Steel is a solid mid tier resource as well and the durability boost is great ^^

Ranged weapons end up 1 hitting dragon and basically hitscan bc azure electrum adds velocity and velocity scales projectiles even in vanilla. Very op tbh. (You can't quite get to doc's tnt cannon but you get surprisingly close)

@@vivianm1851 Thing is Azure Electrum is in the End, and you can't get to the End to get that Azure Electrum until 'after' you've defeated the dragon. Still, between Silent Gear using Crimson Steel, and Apotheosis affixes (playing Allthemods 8 right now) I have over 100% velocity on an already OP bow. Still can't find a freaking Stronghold though...

Amazing video, seriously, you got a sub! A quick question, what would you recommend as a tool rod for someone playing on a different modpack with only silent gear materials? What constitutes as a "good" tool rod material? Hope you have a great day!

Hey aza, thanks alot! It depends if you want to make a weapon or a tool. For weapons you should try to get all the highest possible damage multiplier which should be the blaze rod with a 1.2x Damage Multiplier (also good traits) For tools I think it should either be emerald with 1.3x or Azure Electrum with its flat harvest speed increase (of +3). Here you need to check what the speed of your main material is and check whats more efficent the multiplier or the flat value ^^

The end rod might also be a good tool rod since it has a 1.2x multiplier as well as increases the harvest level to 3 which is enough to mine netherite ^^

I am considering it but ATM9 still has a couple missing mods. Also there are more Allthemodium Weapon options in ATM9

the gems can actually go one tier higher. and with the newest apotheosis/atm8 update, the facets are gone and its only rarity now. the gems now simply go from chipped to perfect, which is just the name for the respective rarity now. but you still need 2 of the same to combine to the higher tier when you do gem cutting. also, i think ranged weapons would also be interesting to cover.

​@@EpicEnchants its the acutal gem that you apply to your weapon like ballast, earth, samuri etc. goes from flawless to perfect! Also just wanted to say i love your videos! i started by grinding through silent gear then Apotheosis enchanting and followed both your guides to set it up automatically. ive made the gem farms but ended up using 4 spawners in each gem farm(since apotheosis nerfed the spawners a little). Next is the Mythic gear farm but i have to power through industrial foregoing to get some of the required parts.

i realized that if you grade 2 separate ingots then combine them together and then grade it again but as a whole you get more stats, i know it's kind of late and maybe it has been changed since you had released the video but i think it's worth pointing out though. edit: it only works for main components, not tip upgrades

@@myonkon5361 just use the compounder; firstly I grade 2 ingots separately then combine them in compounder, grade them again and use starlight charger+supercharger to max it out; basically this works, i have literally 2 mixed alloy ingots that have different stats but neither of them are graded as a whole, only separately.

idk if my modpack is bugged or they had changed it but yeah this is what i noticed, though I don't think it's worth it since you lose a lot of materials to get the dust for grading and i think the difference is slight

Hi, really cool video, but when i looked in-game, refined obsidian seemed to have more attack damage than tyranny ingot, i was just wondering why did you not use that instead? (i am playing atm 8)

HTF are you rerolling the reforge @ 17:11 without spending something? When I try this, it acts like the enchanting table and forces me to use it before the enchants will change. Doesn't matter if I switch to another item, the moment I put the original item back into the reforge table, the same exact enchants will reappear.

Currently I am not planning a Let's play. I am for now more comfortable with a planned approach for each video. However, I am considering it for the future ^^

I'm curious, how would this compare to an upgraded Caliburn sword from the Mahou Tsukai mod combined with apotheosis reforges & gems?

Sorry new to modded minecraft so quick question. Why are my godforged only giving like a third of any of your stats? Like you mentioned 180-200% for exp gain, but I get only 40-50% for highest available forge.

i was watching this and saw that you said you need to go through the Chemlib stuff to get the Titanium Ingot. I just found out there is a bee for it so you don't have to go through all that chemlib stuff. idk how to use chemlib, i can't even read the book because the writing gets all messed up because it is so small

Refined obsidian is better as a base material, it has a higher attack dmg

hello, one question. am playing ATM 9 and the refined obsidian looks better in all the ways, attack, defence, durability, even when i make an alloy with it using the tyrian steel, it looks worse for me, what is the catch?

Found that Azure Silver + Tyrian Makes even more Dmg

u should look at mixing some ingots with the machines u can use. the metel one an the gem an fabric. with thoes three u can mix the ingots an other stuff to make better stuff

Titanium does exist but sadly the ChemLib approach doesnt have a recipe yet so one would need to go through Gregtech to get Titanium

Does Silent Gear work with the Projection spell from Mahou Tsukai? Even if not, that spell allows you to duplicate a weapon, and spawn another at very low durability, so if you really wanted to, you could clone a bunch of swords with your enchantments, disenchant them, and level up your enchantments to the max. MT is absolutely broken in terms of balance, you can throw the duplicated weapons in a material salvager and get some great materials back for the cost of a bit of mana.

Sorry I didn't quite get your questions. Were you asking how the gems work for a offhand weapon? Most of them should still apply however for instance the loot pinata doesn't seem to work in the offhand from my experience

Do you mean the feature where you can combine multiple metals into one part? I think its normally deactivated in the configs when you play ATM 8 atleast it is/was for me. Thats why I sticked with the standard for the video, I might have a look into it if I see more people interested in a full min/max guide with different metals Thanks for pointing it out, hope the video was interesting nonetheless ^^

@@EpicEnchants He probably is not talking about that, there's the thing you use to make tyrian steel, you can also use that to make alloys of different materials. ie. Tyrian plus crimson and so on

I wonder why nobody uses Infinity hammer from Industrial Foregoing since it has absurd DMG and AOE.

can you explain why you can get sharpness 10 in your library? My max i can take out is just 8.

What would be the fastest way to even make titanium in the first place ?

@epicEnhcant i found a really easy way to get titanium in the all the mods 8 modpack. If u put smooth bassalt into a dissolver u have a 7% chance of getting titaniumoxide. that titanium oxide can be put into the disolver again and gives 2 titanium chemicals. that way u can get easy titanium with only a dissolver. u need a lot of bassalt tho but u can get that pretty easy in this stage of the game

i haven't really played ATM8, but i have played ATM 7 TTS. isn't there the unobtanium sword that does more base damage than the dagger you made?

Actually there is no unobtanium sword in ATM8, there is the Allthemodium Sword and one Alloy but from what I can remember its weaker then the unobtanium ^^ The Allthemodium weapons are also great but I prefer the interchangeability of the weapons so that you progress from literally a stone dagger to the best dagger and always keep all your gems and enchantments :D

So op it’s killing your pc every hit

Hahaha yes, luckily they now fixed the elephant so the only mob with lots of health is the pig lich and it has way less health :D

For atm9, what can be used to replace the ElementalCraft ingot?

Currently I don't think anything, especially for the fireite there is no replacement

Would say this one isnt up to par fully with ATM9 as some of the mods are not in the pack or updated currently enchants like vorpal dont exist as of right now.

does this work anywhere near the same in atm 9 ?

Just to add it to the video, elemental damage is not just unhelpful, it's actuvely harming the damage by preventing you dealing damage as fast as possible. Idk what's going on but it feels like elemental damage adds unnecessary invincibility frames to ENEMIES so you can't hit them as fast as your attack speed lets you.

Why not use unobtainium alloy?

can you make one for tools like pickaxes?

I actually already made one, its my first video on the channel. Sadly the audio quality is not quite the best. I am thinking of redoing it in the future ^^

Does this work on ATM9, bc some of the materials you use don't have like the titanium, does this affect the damage?

I think all the recipes are different on ATM9, i can't craft any of the parts like he does

@@exodus1759 u can still one shot the warden with the axe, i just discover that😀just change coating to netherite, tool rod to blaze rod

@@leewuang5891 yea but you can oneshot the warden with an unobtainium axe with the right gems and affixes. You don’t need silent gear

im not quite sure... isnt the all the modium alloy sword/axe upgraded with gems higher dmg than the dagger/axe from silent gear? :D

I think so too ^^ The purpose of the video was not to show the BEST weapon ever just one way and some tricks to make your weapons stronger :D For instance Mahou Tsukai has a weapon which can have a way higher base damage but it also takes more time to create. People literally build afk farms just to level the weapon ^^*

not gonna lie, i still miss my Tinkers construct method. #sadface

Why are you not doing alloying though? I can't remember what I did off the top of my head but I got a much stronger head on my katana, by alloying some stuff

on the atm8 tooltip for the blueprints it says that mixing meterials is deactivated. I assume that is what you mean?

@@cleonumber1no, I mean the 4 blocks from silent gear, that allow you to alloy materials, the alloyer, the recrystalizer, and and 2 more I don't remember the names of. They allow you to create new materials by mixing base materials. The thing it says on blueprints is basically the same thing they do but skipping the machine, it's disabled in config yeah. But machine is still there

Yeah but they fixed the elephant now so there is no mob anymore that has so much health and it won't lag for a wither or piglich ^^

Sadly no allthemodium ingots are not enabled for mixing in atm8 and atm9

Hi, im wondering why a Mahou Tsukai weapon is not considered? Since the base dmg is very high

Hey well the video is not about the general strongest weapon in the game. Even though even then the axe will do more damage then the sword of Mahou Tsukai. I wanted to just showcase the 2 types of weapons I use and can recommend because of their power and quick access ^^

You can use the Mahou Tsukai Sword and use Apotheosis on it (if possible, can't remember right now ) and you will have an even stronger sword then the dagger I showed ^^

Incredibly helpful guide especially for someone new (like me) tod mods & Silent Gear specifically! I am however stuck because for some reason ATM8 is not allowing blaze rods or bones to be used for tool rods? I'm using the blueprint but it just ignores them. Is it possible these recipies have somehow been disabled? I'm too early game for titanium so I was hoping to use a blaze rod

Actually both blaze rods and bones don't need to be put in the blueprint they are tool rods from the get go ^^ Hope that helped and wish you lots of fun :D

@EpicEnchants i found myself in quite a bit of trouble to get to library of alexandria as example. It aint so easy to jump from shelf to shelf, there are aphoteosis guides (which means there are also people who would watch em) but no one is really clear enough imho. I tought you could have done one since you're good at explaining the progression

Playing ATM9 currently and the only thing I can see that’s different (without having dug deep into silent gear, but unless they fully revamped the mod it should be similar) is that the apotheosis armor piercing effect has been heavily nerfed, so I don’t think you can create weapons that ignore 100% of armor anymore. You can still add armor pierce gems onto weapons but they just ignore X amount of armor or armor toughness. So basically top tier armor is actually useful for PVP in this version

Anyone know why my Starlight Charger isn't doing anything? It's set up properly and gets power from the Tyrian blocks but and has Starmetal dust in it but does nothing when I put my materials in. Without that the dagger is pretty weak... That being said I'm in ATM9. Not sure if Silent Gear changed that much in 3 months

Yeah Apotheosis got nerfed quite a bit in newer versions, so that could be the case.

It seems like 90% of the power of these tools/weapons comes from reforges and enchants, nothing related to silent gear. Would it not be infinitely better to just do these same modifications to Allthemodium tools and weapons???

The Alloy Allthemodium Sword & Axe is indeed stronger then the weapons shown in Silent Gear part. That was also not the purpose so say its the best way, its just one way to get powerful tools in ATM ^^ Even though the Silent Gear weapons in the video are also in my opinion easier to get then the Alloy Tools And since both Alloy Weapons and Silent Gear Weapons can kill every mob in the game easily its not really important how you get there as long as you enjoy it :D

Parts of it some things got nerfed others are remove, so you can still make a dtron weapon but not quite as strong

Mostly yes, elemental craft is missing but it should be doable to 80-90%

What exactly do you mean the Dagger or the Axe? In the latest version some apotheosis stats got nerfed however the new level of gems and the new royal gem actually allow you to do even more damage then beforehand.

Don't bother with this in ATM9. Just finished the dagger and it ok at best. Vorpal doesn't exist as well.

For those who are trying to make the axe in ATM9, go with these enchants and gems to consistantly 1 hit Piglichs! kzread.info/dash/bejne/daab2ruthpTaiso.html I also don't have max lvl enchants either, so if you want that little extra damage go for max lvl enchants! If its hard to see the gems in the video, they are: 1 Perfect Tyrannical Gem 1 Perfect Samurai Gem 2 Perfect Warlord Gems

4:30 the way you said Lead instead of Lead is hilarious, imagine not knowing the Difference between Lead and Lead, i mean its so obvious like how the words are spelt different... Oh wait its not, Im always surprised how English survived as a Language, i have spoken it all my life as my first language and it still confuses me.
