The wider wings make Divebomb look more impressive in his beast mode and as part of Predaking, but they do make things a little awkward in his robot mode.

I just finished getting this kit installed on my PotP Predaking earlier this week, along with Reprolabels replacement stickers. Very pleased with it. For some strange reason, however, I only got one of the ratchet replacement parts. I used mine on Rampage, as that arm appeared more loose than Divebomb.

Not even a minute in and this review broke Emgo.EXE

Just completed my Wei Jiang K.O. PK the joints are much tighter & they already added the wing kit & leg filler pieces.

those shoulder pieces made my ratchets sturdier so i'm guessing it might just be an issue with yours

the day I decided to do this for a living.

I got this upgrade kit for mine and I got to say the new shoulder ratchets I had a much different experience. Before he couldn't hold up his arms at all especially dive bomb but with the new ratchets he now can hold his arm up, and hold the sword with hi arm full extended. Only complaint I have is a little discoloration on the orange part of my copy of the winds.

Gabriel K same with mine. The ratchet fix was definitely with the price.

The main sword can be held be the uncombined figures without breaking it down. I just thought of that and I am laughing at the ridiculousness of the idea!

Emgo I am curious out of all 3rd party and Takara/Hasbro versions of Optimus which is your favorite. You should do a episode with your top 10 favorite Optimus Prime Figures. Then one with your top 10 favorite figures of all time, with Optimus being allowed in that list as well. What do you think?

You could also try bending his elbow as you raise the sword, should reduce some of the torque on the shoulder.

Hey EmGo it might be mileage may vary as you put it. I installed both ratchets for the shoulders and it hold up fine. The new problem is the bicep swivel is not not strong enough to keep it from swinging.

I picked it up today along with the figure

Just looking at the ratchet piece I think it was replaced for durability not for strength as said part went from what looked like normal ABS to GFR nylon(GFR nylon means glass fiber reinforced nylon) as it is stronger and harder wearing.

I got this kit and replaced the ratchets. Mine holds very tight now. Stong enough to hold the sword in most poses. Dont know if as you tend to say your mileage may very. But for me they worked really well. Wish I could post a pic of it.

i hold mine in the left hand since he has the forearm gun in the right. and yes, it holds as well... in various poses.

I picked up the Weijiang version of the Predaking which already has some decent upgrades over the POTP version, however I'm looking for a kickass sword and it looks like this sword is better constructed that the Weijiang version. Would you happen to know if this sword can fit in the Weijiang version? There's no rectangular slot in those fists.. but the fingers should be able to clasp the handle?

That sword is badass tho

For me, he could not hold the sword without the shoulder ratchets, but can hold it fine with them (though barely). I have my own, different issues with the set though so I assume the problem with yours is just QC. That's what you get from a set that lacks the Sad Pacman stamp of approval!

I'd like to get this kit, but I'm not interested in the wings and if the swords is too heavy I risk ending up using only the hands and the fillers.

Razorclaws storage is uncomfortable in lion mode

When i get the predaking set and upgrade kit I'm not going to use the rachets until my rachets on the figures brakes

That’s sucks I can’t get the upgrade kit because it’s sold out and plus it’s relatively cheap for such a good upgrade kit especially with the hands and the sword sword someone be able to upgrade my old parking he really needs

I got mine a few weeks ago, but the left thumb was missing.

I wonder if brushing on nail polish on the replacement ratchet joint would help with the arm being stiffer? Loosely read somewhere that this method fixes loose joint in figures. Any one try it?

It's amazing! The wings are bit too large in my opinion for divebomb but well done set!

I’m thinking on getting the oversized version of predaking would u recommend it?

Predacons aren't complete without their swords.

Prefer the shockwave lab back filler

PREDAKING needs a better head or at most a helmet more imposing look .
