It's really a nice touch that I wasn't expecting at all especially for the price.

some people don't like Weijiang's shoulder cannon, they are like really old muskets. Actually the barrels can be unplugged, turn them around and plug back in! a little trick to make it better looking

When I Was A Small Kid I HAd Lots Of Transformers From Hasbro, But As I Recall & Remember, Several Parts Were Accidentally Breaked Off But Could Not Ever Put Them Back! But As I Analyzed Now, In My 40`s of Age, I Realized How Far Advanced & Much Improved Things Have Gone Over These Years With Transformers! This Wei Jiang Has Overcome & Improved Many Issues & Several Other Imaginable Events About Those Transformers I Used To Have as a Kid. Not Only Their Size Became Larger but Their Weapons Became Far Bigger! Something That Hasbro Never Thought To Ever Do About! It Is Truly Revolutionary & Amazingly Inspiring! Cool.comparison video! The wei Jiang robot legs of razorclaw can be positioned straight down the back..using the feet to add more bulk to the lower body as well.

I just got WJ Steel Claw and I noticed that too.

I really dig this comparison video of the two figures. both are awesome, and I have to say this, the Weijiangs beats it out. I know the feeling of finding the space to review bigger bots. Thanks for a truly awesome video.

Got mine yesterday and he really is a great figure. Didn't really expected that as the price difference alone was more than 140€. PotP is nowhere to be found under 200 bucks and wei jiang about 60 and they improved on many details

I'm keeping the Hasbro version, I got it cheap anyway. After all they both are more or less the same thing. I don't like the hands on either one so I'm getting the upgrade kit from DNA.

Real nice comparison of the Predakings' Larkin. Good to see someone else who's been collecting the Wi Jiang set. Overall, I think the Wi Jiang is great value for money and makes notable improvements' over the Hasbro model. Especially in terms of covering waffling, sculpt and articulation. Like you, the only real issue I've had so far is the loose shoulder ratchet for Sabre-tooth when in Predaking arm mode. However, to Wi Jaing's credit, I understand Iron Rhino, comes with parts to fix this problem. I agree about Wi Jaing's stickers looking a little flat when compared to Hasbro's. Hope you enjoy your completed Wi Jaing Predaking. I've still got 3 figures to comply Predaking. Thanks again for a great series of videos around Wi Jaing's Predaking.

you can actually clip in razorclaw's calves on the inner shoulder blades. it makes it flat and cleaner

Thanks! The wings are interchangeable to a certain point The cannons have a different port size than the Hasbro Predaking so I'm not sure if that will affected things as I don't have the DNA upgraded kit.

Had to buy a gut piece upgrade for $16, but come on, I bought the FULL WeiJiang for only $60 (now they go for $160). So for 76 bucks, a wonderful Predaking. Mine even had the sword sent, even though I hadn't ordered it. I DON'T like the crotch armor or lack of hip armor, but I'll customize that later. Also need to CREATE a sword like UT Warlord, because it matches the original Predaking character art sheet. One major thing I did, because I'm never transforming it, was swap some guts around, so Divebomb could be the left arm.

Weijiang TF are always great 😊

I usually don't care for third party products but I don't know how I can buy Hasbro's when weijiang's is better. And good video dude.

One of my divebomb's wings has a serious qc prob. The two halves that hold the feathers together don't peg in properly, the plastic pegs don't look right, so the feathers are loose as hell. Cannot make them point sideways, they just hang down... Need to figure out what to do. May have take the piece out and sandpaper down the small pegs that are supposed to peg into the holes.

@@LarkinsLair Update: package recieved. Transformation is a bit tricky when getting into combiner mode, but DEAR GOD, well worth it once completed. The figure is sturdy and amazingly poseable. (Neither myself nor autocorrect could decide on how to spell "poseable" but it came down to 3 choices; poseable, possible, or Poseidon and we settled on what at least seemed phonetic). Perhaps I should say "He articulates exceptionally well" instead. Anyhow, he is a mammoth and my wife is terrified of him and wont be in the same room with him. Thank you Predaking, I now have the bed to myself after all these years.

My hasbro has the dna add on so it Better than the wei jiang but with out the add on wei jiang is better

Just curious is there any KO version that is smaller that would scale better with all other CW & PotP Combiners? I got the smaller Devastator and it looks great.

Sorry I no longer have that version. When Power of the Primes Predaking came out I gave my oversized Jinbao Predaking to a friend of mine. The Jinbao Predaking had stability issues and loose joints. I don’t remember then size being too significantly bigger though.

Ordered mine! It’ll be here in a few days. Perfect alongside his combaticon brother.

In my mind I think Hasbro is better... very slightly but in in all honestly I can't really tell. they both seem to be of the same quality.

Ah ok good to know, cause I ordered a set. Its a shame if all these engineering tweaks exist but the plastic quality is significantly worse. That would color my experience. Glad to hear the difference isn’t huge

I’m buying this. No question about it. Watching your vids really helped me coming up with a conclusion. Wei Jiangs just looks way better. So Thx. But One question I have though is where did you get him or do you have a preferred place to get him?

I Used To Really Respect Hasbro, But Now Seeing How Wei Jiang Company Improved It , I May Change Around My Honor & My Mind & Turn My Respective Bows To Mr. Wei Jiang! To Hasbro: THIS is why customers buy KO's!! Better quality, they listen to their customers and it is much cheaper. Combine that with the total lack of interest in your customers concerning scalping and you know why YOU, Hasbro, have a bad name to some customers.

It's sad Wei jang was able to make a better combiner for cheaper. Why hasbro, why??!!?? Lol. I'm going to have to add this guy on to my wishlist now.

Too bad Wei Jiang got busted. We won't be able to have another company who makes other TF toys that is on par or even better than Takara and Hasbro

hasbro is junk now and u can't buy weijiang any more i can't get the last arm

The stickers on Hasbro figures are horrible. When I got Trypticon, the first thing I did was get a Toyhax sticker set. The foil stickers are thin and tear way too easily. My concern with the KO sets is plastic quality. I hear horror stories about thin, brittle plastic being used that breaks when you try to transform the toys.

If Hasbro wants us to stop buying knockoffs, all they have to do is make good figures in the first place.

Wei jiang's looks more like an improved version.
