@@stephank8641 the hooks are also taught like this in the russian school. Look up russian school of boxing (by alexey frolov) , he teaches it exactly like that. Its amazing

Its interesting how different this Russian style is compare to western, elbows higher in to hooks then fists, extra wide stance, more on the tips, for example “Elite world class boxing channel” completely different, flatfooted, narrow stance, hooks with elbows on same lvl as fists or little under 🤔

East Euro fighters are very good at throwing"Looping punches". This is also something that Wilder does as well. But that's called sloppy to fanboys which is so strange to me. I think Bivol Is good. I like him a lot.

The difference is that bivol has got better balance and coordination. His style is unorthodox like wilder, but more fluid and natural. Wilder technique is sloppy and unnatural. His explosive power gets him out of jail.

The chechnian beast beterbiev is still the best lhw imo

@@faraazkhan90 Only problem with GGG is that he doesn't counter enough. He also fell in love with the jab that he doesn't throw the 2 quick enough, so he doesn't have the best 1-2. What I mean by movement is that in Russia, they make the boxer move like this. Look at the hook. That's the same for everyone. The bouncing in and out.

@@clm3888 the in and out footwork is Soviet union style. Wladimir Klitschko, usyk, loma, selimov and chebotarev all have that same style. I dont see golovkin and kovalev using this. They are more jab and rely on punching power. When I'm saying kovalev and GGG are robotic, I mean that their technique is not smooth like bivol. Dmitry bivol In and out footwork and combinations look effortless compared to kovalev and GGG. But of course, kovalev and GGG are good boxers and all time greats. Hopefully, bivol will be in that category.

У Бивола тоже как у Головкина есть только пара вариантов ведения боя...в один прекрасный день ему тоже не повёзет как и Головкину с Альварезом... так как на сегодня какой то американский тренер готовит своего профи против Бивола и тот сделает своё дело... Команде Бивола нужно получше тренировать его, например пусть лапы подержат еще другие специалисты ...так как вариант на видео давно Биволом отработан...

Luckily I know how good a fighter he is cause I don't know what kinda sloppiness is this.

This looks so amateur... not in a bad sence, like noob/amateur, but this is amateur boxing techniques. Like he's preping for olympics. Looks really weird, but might just work. I guess most Western, particularly American boxers don't have much amateur pedigree, would be really uncomfortable to face this style.
