Ideally the mount should be free to be moved around the Loader's hatch ring as needed (but that may not be possible given the two different manufacturers). The MG3 again ideally needs to be removable (which is probably why it came separate from the mount) as in real life it is often removed and taken by the crew if crew members need to dismount for a recce, etc. Lastly (sorry) it maybe a limitation of the model, but the ammunition container should elevate and depress with the gun as it supposedly can optimistically be employed as an air defence weapon.

Hi! Yes all right, but the model has limitations, and being RC sometimes you can accidentally turn them into shelf queens if there too much detail. You could attach the ammo to the gun mount so it elevates , but as this was with my beginner Leo build, I didn’t want to do any conversion work to it ( the crows unit from DKLMRC I modded a lot) as it might make things inaccessible and it wouldn’t be a review and build, but a conversion. @@mrtankalotrctankschannel Sorry, I wasn't meant to be overly critical and I understand the limitations of the model vs the real thing.

Well apart from the fact that you have put the’bullet’ belt in the wrong place and if you want to paint wood effect you have to paint it all in the same direction as the wood grain would be naturally all running in the same direction, plus the gun is not normally all shiny metal but more a metallic dark blue colour with occasional scratches in a more silvery/metallic colour it’s not bad!! Guns are ‘blued’ during manufacturing it’s the natural colour of the metal when certain chemicals are used to hardened the metal of the barrel and then heated. So the gun would have a more subtle blueish/ black colour and then a few scratches that would be a darker metallic colour rather than bright silver. All comes with practice and knowledge!!

Yep all true, but I wanted something to break up the green of the tank, and to be honest there’s no wood on an mg3 it’s plastics for the stock and handle, so all black, but that’s a bit boring. The gun metal is just a nice affect, catches the eye a bit, the belt is where it goes, I checked that, you’d thing it would come out the same side, it doesn’t. For the wood grain that shouldn’t be there on the stock, if you look at worn stocks there’s longitudinal, but also marks up down and sideways, on shovel handles wood grain will go in lines, and curves at the bottom of the grain where it’s been turned. I’ll stick a pic up on the community of used stocks. I really go by it I like what it looks like. I’d love to see how you do it, you should stick up a vid! Have a great week.
