I’ve got the DJI and I love it! I’ve just it last week with the receiver in my laptop and could do voice over wireless to première pro and I loved the sound. Also used it for interviews and stuff and it never failed me
Will this wirless mic mute and disable the speaker of smartphone or not ? If it disable or mute the speaker of the smartphone you can not make shorts videos and listen to your voice in snap or youTube or even you can not make live stream
great review thanx-!! 👍🏼✨
I have both microphone systems and for some reason, when I record with the mics on my shirt, they sound distant/have a muffled, kind of underwater sound. Any thoughts on this?

Which would you say is better?
First switch from Hollyland to DJI, the DJI sounded better to me, later I couldn't really hear a difference. (Listened on some random cheap in-ear headphones, not some high-level audiophile headphones). So I guess, sound quality wise, they are basically equal. The noise cancellation made the voice sound a bit weird even though it nicely reduced the street noise. I don't know how close you could put the mic to the mouth, so maybe moving it closer so that the voice is relatively louder than the street noise might be a better option.
I've looked at these, but am definitely in the 32-bit float camp... Great review/comparison as always.

Hubieras puesta el texto del lado que tienes el micrófono, porque lo pones al contrario y me confunde.
Given the fact that right now there is an offer by Hollyland Lark Max to get the system + 2 lav mics for the same price as the DJI system without any lav mics, but DJI having way better adapters for phone, which one would you pick? Price for any of these: $249.
Hilarious timing, given Rode just released the Rode Wireless Pro

I think they pretty much sound the same with the internal mics. I'd love to see some 20 to 20K sweeps from an audio device into the mic ports of the transmitters to see the quality of the internal and transmitted frequency response. I don't know why no one does it. It should be the easiest way to determine the coloration imposed upon a lav mic.
Thanks for the nice vid - looking good! (The vid, I mean :)) I use the Hollyland 150 as well as the DJI set. What surprised me was that with the DJI set, one can load both receiver as well as transmitter indepently from the loading case using an USB c cable - which is not the case with the (older) Hollyland 150. And which is a big pro because what if the case brakes? The with the Holly 150, the whole set is done… not so with the DJI set. What about the newer Hollyland set - can the transmitter and/or the receiver be loaded and even used while loading without the case?

Sir i need one hollyland How i buy
The Hollyland to me sounds fuller and richer than the DJI. The Hollyland also picks up a more consistent level as opposed to the DJI which to me has a harsher sound and somehow seems to choke down audio signals lower than a certain dB level (or is it just me?). The DJI also has more piercing transients while the Hollyland has a warmer sound with smoother transients. This is my opinion on just the sound. All other features are secondary to the sound quality.

Even the lark m1 sounds less tinny and processed then the DJI. And this certainly outperforms that.

@MarkBennettCameraCrisis

yes you can send the signal to a mixer
11:38 what do you mean you want Hollyland to let you disable the noise cancelling ? you have the LED indicator, you have the button on the mic to turn it off and on the receiver itself you can turn it on and off too... if you're not paying attention that's user error.
@MarkBennettCameraCrisis

if I give a someone a transmitter (example grrom), they can easily enable noise cancelling by grazing the unit. I have enabled on myself just adjusting the transmitter on my shirt. having a button lock is always a good idea.

@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis ok ok you have a point, I still insist that there are many indicators and missing on it would be user error but I guess It wouldn’t hurt another safety feature like a “master” control from the receiver only and lock it that way, and then the mic buttons for noise canceling get disabled.
Wow i see🙌

@@fangsoffuego I’ve had some mixed success with the Hollyland in the handful of times I’ve used it, but still feel good about it. I’m still dialing in some settings and getting familiar with it. On its default setting out of the box it was coming in pretty hot with the Lav mic connected so I had to dial back its gain. Then I dropped it too much, so had to boost audio in post… another time I forgot to plug it into my phone and recorded the whole session with my phone mic. All my fault that time… I’d guess a similar learning curve with the DJi. Gotta learn to use better equipment properly… I love the results when I do it right!

Hey Mark; Nice review! We’re in a copy cat review. I saw somewhere some comments said “DJI copied HL design”, then HL copied DJI new feature.” Now it’s DJI turn to copy ENC and frequency hopping so when far away and turning around, audio doesn’t drop. The attachment of DJI is nice without wires is nice for mobile and action cams, but not good when using a gimbal so it depends on your use case. In a perfect world, I would prefer ability to do both. Not much is mentioned with the non-shielding on the DJI so when using any lav, there won’t be distortion. Not sure if HL solved for this. Hasn’t seen reviews on this. This is important when you mic up a client, you would hide the TX and mic him/her up with a lav. I’ll be curious to compare DJI Mic 2.0 to HL Lark Max. But last but not least, both aren’t as handsome as Mark himself. And you don’t need a loud logo in the front as we all know about your handsomeness since you never mention it in any videos! 😂
