Mark Bennett's Camera Crisis

Mark Bennett's Camera Crisis

In real life I am a comedian. But I like cameras so much that I wanted a channel to talk about them. That is all.

    I'm buying that ball head quick release asap for my zero y. I love that tripod but have never felt totally comfortable simply screwing the plate in. Also noticed when I use my peak design plates on my ulanzi that arca screw randomly just comes loose and ive had some scares with my camera falling off. In a perfect world all of my peak design arca plates would work with that tripod but it looks like I’m buying the ulanzi ball head and capture clip. Glad I did some new research thanks for the video m8

    Hello Mark , I just bought this lens because of your video about how sharp the lens is . I have their 16mm f1.8 and it is really sharp . This lens cost $369 on AMAZON but I bought it here in one of the famous Asian E-commerce platform for only $240 . It is quite a huge discount on this updated version. I'm happy , thanks mark ☺️.. I'm currently on vacation here ..

    I got the 45.2mm in the mail, it looked faker, but to be honest, you never have that much lighting. You try the 16-40mm on a pack Crayola, looks like a pocket camera because there's nowhere you use Crayola where the papers gonna blow away.

    I just use magnetic medallion necklaces with the DJI mic without any issue and no pulling down on my shirts. I dont think it looks that bad as I'm just making YT videos and not TV productions. I got 5 of them on clearence for about $3 a piece.

    I have that lense on my a6700 and I love it for its bright aperture, its sharpness and its form factor. If Sony ever decides to put out a similar APS-C G lense at this size at 24mm f1.4, I'll buy it instantly.

    I bought the Tamron based on another one of your videos, and I'm happy with that choice. Come to think of it, I only watched this video because I love how you present. I guess it reinforces why I went with the Tamron, though.

    Personally, I prefer cameras. I don't like cell phones. In fact, I don't use a cell phone. My cell phone is stored in a drawer. The only thing I use on my cell phone is the Whats app and I have an extension on my desktop computer. For that reason, my cell phone is kept in a very well-kept drawer. I feel that photographs taken with cameras are more natural and beautiful. On cell phones they look too reproduced, saturated with color, sharpness. They don't have as much contrast. In short, I don't like them. Besides, it's so nice to hear the sound of a camera when you take photos, that a phone will never surpass that.📸

    Love my ZV-E10. The only thing that would tempt me to upgrade to a Mark II is if it added an EVF, and we all know they won't do that. So the ZV-E10 will be perfectly good enough for me for several years to come. If I were to "upgrade" it would be to the A6700 because EVF's are valuable to me, but I would still need to keep the ZV-E10 for the Product Showcase.

    I'd like to give you a small suggestion on a type of test I never see any creators do, but I'm sure the question gets pontificated. How does the noise cancelation differ between high noise environments and low? You pointed out a common flaw in noise reducers, they sometimes clip portions the voice from the audio, giving it that weird sound. Almost always, this is demonstrated at an loud intersection or in a somewhat quiet field, but hardly ever is it demonstrated and compared in both scenarios. The reason I suggest this, is that in a low noise environment(computers, fans, a/c, etc), which is probably a common place a creator would use the mics, there would have less noise to remove and would probably result in less clipping of the voice. As a content creator myself, I'd love for someone to start showing these comparisons as part of their review, as it would help me to audibly hear the difference, side by side per se. Regardless, great video and as always, I will be using your affiliate link to make my purchase! Take care!

  • @MarkBennettCameraCrisis
    @MarkBennettCameraCrisisКүн бұрын

    Yes - the voice less weird in quieter environments because the mic doesn’t have to cancel out the noise. But it still doesn’t sound great - but it’s something that might be beneficial to demonstrate. I will try to include it!!

    I'd buy 6700 if it was 33 mps. Don't see a reason switching from 6400 as the stills aren't much better. A7cii however is completely different league with fullframe and ai autofocus. Setting my eyes on a7cii

    Thank you. I ended up with the Sigma 10-18mm. Own quite a few Sigma APS-C and full frame and no Tamron’s lenses and I liked the Sigma pairing with the 18-50/2.8 with their really small size on my A6700. Also own the Sigma 30/1.4 and 56/1.4 primes for this kit and the Sony 15/1.4 G. Im very happy with the purchase for sure. Enjoy your reviews. Take care.

    Great video as always! been seeing this lens for my ZV E10 but also looking at the YONGNUO YN11MM F1.8S at $298 they have as my new main angle lens, can't decide yet, already have the sigma 16mm for main angle and b-roll & 30mm for close up b-roll but for side angle its kind of to close for my liking. also was wondering if you plan on going over your new settings for the ZV E10? i know in the past you used HLG3 but seen you mention S-log & now Cine2 in this video so was interested in the new settings (i have the Paul Leeming LUT's as well), thank you!
