Christmas present for my son

So many reasons to buy it!

A friend of the family was in a car accident recently where their 3 year old died. Made us realize how important capturing as many moments as possible with the ones you love really is. Love that you capture yours the way you do. Always wanted, but never pulled the trigger on the Osmo Pocket, definitely will with the Pocket 2. I'm in construction and planned on using it for work, but now will be using it for so much more. Great review. Thanks!

This has gotta be one of the best beginner vlogging camera that has actually caught my attention! Like, the simple user interface, the ergonomics, the comfortability, and most importantly, the stabilization, all these combined makes this an all-in-one camera! Plus, you too explained it very simply so that everyone can understand. If I got this camera, I would use it to kick-start my content creation career, and one day become a very influential and great person like you! You just inspire me! Keep up the good work! Peace ☮

I’m 18 from Ireland , I started college this year in sound engineering we have a movie processing class . But we can’t use the cameras due to covid, I would use it to film for class assignments. I part time work in the entertainment industry already but as you know with covid that’s all closed

Huge dji enthusiast here, this camera sounds perfect! I would use it for action shots, like mountain biking with mates, and creating very memorable moments. The gimbal looks super good

Whenever I'm thinking about getting something from DJI I always check out your reviews - you are by far the best! A lot of the other "reviewers" of these products make the review about themselves... but you stick to the point and make a very detailed and informative video about the product, all the while being interesting - well done!

This is perfect to document the kids, so that I could have a better looking end-product for those times when it isn't practical to carry around more equipment. I'm in aww of how polished the end result can look without sacrificing portability! Thank you, I didn't know I needed one till I watched your review!

I would use this camera to film many family/holiday videos and definitely use it for school. I’ve been having to do many video assessment tasks lately and this camera would definitely aid me in recording my narration in the assessment tasks. Keep it up with the great content Aldryn!

Currently I use my Pixel 6 on a UURIG extention pole, really heavy but walking around 10 kils in the local Philippine (Mindanao) area I record my daily 'adventures' using the pocket 2 would just make my (old) life so much easier, I'm 81 and active, enjoyed the video content and quality, look forward to more.

First time I’ve ever heard you review anything. I was interested in the pocket 2. That said you killed it! Great job! So much information, TY!

As a single dad with 4 kids, I also like to just record everything. This year is weird, and I decided to come out of 2020 better than I went into it. I picked up a Mavic Air 2, and went from there. The OP2 would make a good tool to round out the bag of tricks. Thanks for your videos!

Just starting to get back into video production after about 10 years of not dealing with it at all, and goodness!!!! The technology that’s available now is amazing! I’ve been asked to video some real estate walk throughs by a realtor friend and I think something like this could be perfect for that. I recently bought a dji Mavic Air 2 so I will definitely be shooting some aerials as well.

The pocket two definitely got some upgrades! I just want it because during these times I’ve realized that memories are better if you have them recorded! Having an amazing quality gimbal in your pocket makes those moments to capture way easier! I wish I could get this camera Love your videos!

Id been always looking for a vlogging camera which is small and compact. Its also because im an underprivileged school student and i love involving myself with vlogging or just for memories. I hope i do get supported. I love your videos btw. Interesting and was entertaining.

Wow. This is an amazing device. If I had a DJI Pocket 2 I would use it to make my teaching more interesting for my students. With remote learning, the kiddos are just burnt out. Taking this out and about to create some virtual field trips could be a gaming changing morale booster! Thanks for your thorough explanation of this device!

I just got my DJI Pocket2 Creator Combo yesterday, it's my very first gimbal, so I really really needed this video. Thanks for sharing. Helped me a lot in understanding how this thing works.

i love the effort you are putting to give us the most amount of details we need! hope you get more subscribers! I really just love taking vids when I travel and vlog during rides the scenic views, and this could be an improvement to my setup!

Favourite review so far. Would love to use this to document the next stages of my life. Got married not too long ago, and have planned to get a home and start a family, and I'm just not a fan of doing it with phones. I had the pocket one but the tripod it was on tipped over so this would be a great way to still do this and still use my older accessories. Keep up the good work!

I will get some of the most epic travel footage possible!

Thanks for this! Finally picked mines up. Ill be filming my travel vlogs with this. Going to love the wider lens, switching between my go pro and the pocket 1 for different shots will be less of a thing now for me.

I plan to shoot some nice moments like birthdays with my family. If we watch the videos in a couple of years, some fond memories will pop up. This tiny camera is just perfect 👌

I would find these perfect to use for shooting BTS (Behind The Scenes, not the band), keeping in mind these won't use much space and can be operated by literally anyone. BTS makes for good memories and also as a nice promotional material without much effort. It's got stabilization, stereo audio and it's waterproof! Can't go wrong with that, eh?

Hi Aldrin This was a fantastic honest review. I've never heard of DJI until today and your review has been informative for what I want to do. I want to travel and have a simple easy vlog device to film my tourist travels with my partner. I'm far from a professional in any form and wanted something user-friendly. Got to say, this was a great comparison of both the first gen and the 2nd. I looked at the first one a while back and was impressed. But this one does seem quite better.. for me, I'm looking to record the upcoming events for my sons wedding. I have a DJI magic Pro now for some outside shots but this will be great for every thing else.. a great companion to my drone..

I have a second KZread channel where I often ride a recumbent trike in the videos. The Pocket would be an ideal camera to film myself in those situations. Does the Do It All feature include wifi to the phone?

I ride with the original pocket a lot and one thing you should do if you get one is getting some sort of holder for the camera when you are not using it...like a pencil holder like thing on the bar. That way you can toss it in the cup because riding and trying to put it in its case is a real pain. I don't like stopping to do that.

I had a wedding in the midst of the pandemic and would love to document my new life with my wife together with the DJI Pocket 2!

I have been waiting for this Pocket 2 to come out with these exciting and needed enhancements. I plan to take vacation videos of my family while I am in Maui in August so I am super excited to use this cute little camera with all of its functionality while enjoying Maui. I just love your Videos and have learned so much from them for helping me with my Family Videos. My wife can't believe the technology behind this camera and my Mavik Mini Drone which I have had a lot of fun with. Thanks for your Videos!!!

I definitively want to put my hands on it! Just last week sold my Pocket 1 because I needed the money, but eventually would love the Pocket 2 because it is a great 2nd camera when it comes to work

I would use it for family trips I had a drone but it crashed somehow and I'm struggling to get a new one. I could also start my youtube channel I just need a camera and the pocket 2 would be perfect I would just change my life if I get the pocket 2.

With this, I would finally be able to record my memories in public, since it's pretty small and less awkward than using a phone/camera. I would use it to be the designated memory keeper for my friends and family. (thnku for such a detailed review)

Does the pocket 1 accessories work with the pocket 2. Like the Osmo pocket charger case and the Osmo pocket Extension rod?

On the dji buy page, it lists the op1 handle as essential accessories for the op2 so I think the answer is yes !

Lots are compatible but the do it all and tripod bottom piece are not. The joystick does work but theres no Zoom on the P1

I would like to do some fake drone shots of a skateboard by mounting it to a stick and also will start vlogging on my channel which I'm thinking of doing in future.it will make my job easier and also there are no vloggers in my area (Goa) so maybe it could help me. Travelling with the family and vlogging it IS A MUST! I bought an akaso V50 but the quality sucks even at 4k plus especially under low light. With DJ osmo they designed it so that youll have a decent quality even at night. Memories worth capturing. Merry Christmas!

I really enjoyed this video. I am a ski instructor and I use the DJI Pocket 1 to video my students because it allows them to see how they are skiing and helps improve their skiing while on snow. I also use it to create training video for my ski school. The only things missing on my pocket 1 are zooming and a wireless microphone. It sure would be nice to win that pocket 2. Rev Kev.

DJI rocks and I was thinking about this with the one. I am liking the 2 a lot. My grandson loves to use my camera but it is a bit too heavy for him. With this we can take pics and videos of each other and get some great selfies and videos of each other also. He's almost 4 and I think the size is perfect to include both of us and others.
