Btw ..go4 auto gimble cal works but also takes it back to the left. Could to mount inside have been nudged?

It is possible. It should move freely.

Hey Ted. P4P hard landing. Gimble yaw slight to left. All cals..imu etc. If I use the go 4 gimble cal (roll/yaw) 100 clicks gamble goes straight but back to left after power cycle. Ideas?

Check the yaw arm. It may be bent slightly. If it works ok and just points to the left it would be my guess that the yaw motor is not damaged but the yaw arm is bent. Look at it carefully

This comes from Jiminyfixit ( He helped and advises me on DJI repairs. We worked together to come up with the cure) "I would have mentioned, "buyer beware" about NEW yaw motors. The way to tell if the motor is new is to make sure there are NO divots on the gold contacts. Most eBay sellers say their motors are New, when they aren't, (they have no idea what a new motor even is). I have found another issue with the new motors I might have mentioned before, and that is about the ones with drums. Most of them have very weak magnetic rings inside. So weak, in fact, that they don't work. That's why DJI allowed them into the market place and that is why it is so important to swap the old one, or have a supply of original drums. The other issue with Used motors is the fact that a lot of them have, slightly melted, or bubbled wire coating on the motor lugs, hence shorted out wiring. Any cam that I get that has a a broken yaw arm, which indicates a sever crash, I always open up all gimbal motors to inspect for melt. The melt comes from the drone sitting in a forced position too long, usually the time it takes the pilot to find the drone after it has crashed."

@@Droneted Cover that covers the motor winding and sensors. I left the old cover and installed a new coil with sensors there. It still touches sometimes the inside when the engine rotates.

@@poletkolibri can you email me a photo of the cover? droneted@gmail.com I am unsure of which cover you are referring to. Thin metal cover or the motor casing (drum)

@@Droneted Motor case. There is a thin layer of magnet inside and the magnet is scratched in some places.

@@Ramadhaniayoubissa I would start by replacing the ribbon cable. Try to use a DJI OEM cable. I would also replace the yaw motor. Then contact me as to how it is working
