Nice use of hybrid design in several areas! Also noticed some SOTA structural design. I was wondering how much aerodynamic testing is done before prototyping, i.e. sufficient lift, drag reduction, stabilization? Is this all computerized results reducing/eliminating the need to fabricate test bed equipment? Thanks

Key points: -Seamless integration with their new gimbal, existing zenmuse x5 series, lightbridge 2 and DJI GO app. -Powered by 6 batteries, each under 100wh so that you can travel with them. Also redundancy. -SDK available for developers. -Upgradeable to A3 pro flight controller which features true 3 way GPS and IMU redundancy. -Can lose up to 3 motors (on hexa and octa configs) and still remain airborne by spinning around its own axis. -Optional GPS system with 1 cm accuracy. -Ground station software that can simultaneously control up to 5 aircraft at the same time and perform coordinated manoeuvres. -SDI television broadcast grade output on the lightbridge for live television streaming.

6 batteries for 15 minutes, meaning your forking out a few thousand more for a back up of at least 12 to ensure you can shoot continuously and not have to halt filming to charge batts.

Haven't flown it yet, but the fact that it still runs its controls through an ipad... 90% sure its going to have control software issues like any other DJI product we run. Looks like a killer drone though hope they fix their issues by the time we fly.

Price even dropped more by now... here in the Netherlands, it's already on 2400 euro, ok without camera, but.... seeing the stuff that's onboard, Lightbridge, new motors, A3 ... I think I can't even make it myself (with an old S900 for example... lightbridge alone costs around 1000 bucks)
