Jokes on you. This is the flimsiest and weakest dji drone. The arms will snap in half with the slightest crash with tree branch.

Great video, helped me out tons !! I do have one complaint with DJI though, I purchased the FPV motion controller, but the package cam with no charger which isnt that bad, but no cable either.! that pissed me off, $199US and no cable, cheap skates !!!

Can the new controller be hooked up to a normal air unit on a diy fpv drone along with the goggles?? I think that way it could potentially offset the cost of the entire package.

I couldn't activate the drone w Samsung android, the app didn't recognize there was a drone connected. The iPhone version of the app worked fine and I was able to activate it.

@@AirPhotography so... Im absolutely gutted... I bought DJI FPV to fly "manual", I don't know if my definition of manual was wrong but basically even on manual mode my drone automatically goes up.... like... ??? Im 70 hours into Liftoff before it arrived, practising there in a mode where if I release all my buttons the dron will just fall down - meaning it won't go up or hover still on its own I need to constantly control the throttle to keep it levelled same like you do in a car and if I release all the buttons the dron will just start falling down like a helicopter with an engine off. How to turn that on?? Or what drone doesn't have this nonsense? Cos if its about the drone model im selling it and getting another one TODAY. Its shocking because I was flying exactly DJI FPV model in the Liftoff simulator, not a different drone model. I ve been on Liftoff via my DJI controller 2 doing double backflips and rolls like its nothing - on what I thought manual mode - and now in reality even the manual mode is with an assist. There is not a mode like that in my actual drone/goggles. What the actual F?

I've had mine in a box, sealed for a few months now. Been practicing with the Mini to get confident. So now have controller and goggles battery charging for at least two hours. Not sure what to do. Leave it plugged in, use it ? Never seen battery taking this long. Using the brick charger that came with it.

Can you even fly these outdoors in Canada? I guess as long as you have a spotter you're okay. I'm fairly new to all this and I'm just getting practiced up for my flight review and then I'll have my advanced certification but I know that you have to have eyes on the drone when flying.

I already have the DJI Goggles v2 and use them with the Air Unit. I’ve just bought a separate controller on eBay thinking that I could use it with the Goggles and the Simulator. I’ve tried to pair the Goggles to the Controller by pressing the red button on the Goggles and holding the power button down on the controller. They beep and everything, but don’t seem to pair without the drone. Is there a way to pair the Goggles to the Controller without the drone?

I have flown a inspire 2 drone, not sure how this one feels

What’s best way to transport this around?

No you have to leave that block plugged into the goggles during flight.

Is the footage as good as the Mavic 2 Pro?

Can you attempt to use the flight simulator without the controller. Because it’s nearly impossible to control the drone in the sim with just the touch screen.

I have one of these.... It seems I spend more time with issues Then flying the drone. Hours and hours on chat with DJI. Issues like non dji battery, stick error, remote ID error, Spectators mode does not work. Weak rc signal. Turn on the drone and by the time you get it all working you might have 10 min. Fight time. Always something !!!!!

So I really want one of these and for the price since it includes everything and the reveiws i've seen are pretty good, should I get it? I'm a kid but I have a ton of drone flying experience so I know how to handle it. This would just be my first "freestyle" drone though. are there any other ones you would recomend that are better or cheaper (or just the same price) that includes everything? or do you think this is a good drone?

If this is your first freestyle drone then look at cheaper alternatives this so much money especially if it’s your first drone and you need a license for it since it is over 250 grams

Maybe give some more info on the simulator app. THIS IS ONLY AVAILABLE ON IOS! So everybody with adroid is kinda screwed if you want to learn in the app first

A visual observer is law but this drone has something that might be better than an observer and that is the sensing tech that allows it to be aware of nearby aircraft... At least in this regard, it betters many drones already out there.

You could try updating on the computer with the DJI assistant 2 app. See if that works if not contact DJI support

It should just automatically connect minutes powered on, it could be an interference area. Also it will not connect to GPS when indoors? If you still have problems I would contact DJI support

Urg! Everybody skips right past registration. The Android App doesn't even know that the DJI FPV Drone exists. The Goggles have a red warning saying that the drone isn't registered. The setup isn't user friendly at all.

Here is what I had to do: 1) The appropriate version of the Android DJI Fly app MUST be downloaded specifically from the DJI website (NOT the Goggle Play Store). You need version 1.3.0 of DJI Fly. The app will still NOT recognize the FPV drone since everything has old firmware. 2) Download the DJI FPV specific version of the DJI Assistant 2 software on your PC. Once on the DJI software page, look on the left side. Software > DJI Assistant 2 Series > DJI Assistant 2 ( DJI FPV Series). This will download version 2.1.0. 3) Once DJI Assistant 2 version 2.1.0 is installed, you can connect each component 1 by 1 to your PC and update the firmware. I updated the Goggles, the Controller, and the FPV Drone. Once each of them have updated firmware, turn on the goggles and plug them into your Android phone. When you launch version 1.3.0 of the DJI Fly App, it will FINALLY recognize the goggles and take you right into the registration process. Simply follow the app prompts on your phone. Hopefully this helps. It is what finally worked for me. Now I'm all connected, registered, and ready to actually fly. Sorry I was not able to include links to the website - KZread seems to delete any comment that has a link included.
