Considering it has only 400 battery charge cycles, I don't think it will be cost effective for tasks that require regular monitoring of small region. CCTVs are better for this.

Yeah but by the time a residential product becomes available it will employ solid-state batteries with thousands of cycles. I think that this could work nicely in conjunction with traditional monitoring for a comprehensive system. @@dreadfulbodyguard7288

@@dreadfulbodyguard7288EVERY rechargeable battery has around 300 cycles of life buddy. EVERY single one. 400 is obviously better. You just replace the battery when it can no longer hold a charge. Can your CCTV cameras fly? 😂

Combine this with computer vision with a multi-modal model that you can train yourself it would alleviate a lot of the repetitive visual inspections and allow inspectors more time to do the more difficult ones.

It can. I am no expert, but this is certainly very configurable and can be connected to third party plattforms to achieve such goal that you wished. In fact i saw some youtubers use similar ideas on the Dock1. The cost and the code? I have no clue.
