It is actually.. The advanced features on upgraded consoles year after year in my view, is the cause of DJs getting lazy or those bloomers who never knew what the art of DJing meant then! It’s a plague with all subjects concerning our lives, not just DJing

Well, my best time as a DJ was in another decade. No social media, no smartphones, slow internet connection… So we printed little (business card size) flyer with minimal information about the next gig and ask the record dealers to distribute them „silently“ 😂 to their customers and therefore other DJs as well. And it worked 😉 But now I really prefer new techniques haha

I think a blend of old and new approaches in this game is a winning combination 👍

The course really needed another few lessons in 'escaping the genre trap' section, just having 3 variations on changing the Tempo of a loop to transition is weak AF, really hoped for more from you my dude covering Transitions.

Hey man, I appreciate the feedback. The point of the course was based on "how I perform", not an A-Z of how to DJ. Furthermore, the lessons were carefully designed to teach the exact techniques required to perform the final 30 minute "graduation" set. I wrote the lessons concisely this way to be as clear and understandable for students of all levels. The tempo transition lessons I included are creative and "performance-based" in line with the course theme, and to be perfectly honest with you, there aren't really many ways to change tempo AND transition smoothly AND showcase a wordplay/toneplay trick in the process. This obviously is also dictated by the music you play, and again - my lessons related to the tracks used to perform the final 'real-world" set. Sure, I could have included generic lessons on "how to echo out and slam in the next track" but we all know how to do these bread and butter techniques, and it was outside the scope of the course. A lot of years of knowledge went into developing the course and there's plenty of material in there for you to build on - which should always be the case when learning from others. But if you’re really not satisfied, then feel free to contact the team for a no questions asked refund: info@digitaldjtips.com ✌️

@@DJAngeloUK Thanks for the response Angelo. I am not hating just kind of on the Fence about the course after having it a month or so. No doubting your skills you are without question way way way better DJ than me and a genuinely all round nice Guy i was just expecting more from the course after seeing your skills and creativity on here for a number of years and being in awe of some of the amazing stuff you do, even on an ipad ffs :) Its in the Transitions department i feel its lacking, to me it kind of needs an extra section after 'escaping the genre trap' where you do a few lessons on 'Transitions' it is called 'Tricks & Transitions' after all. Again not hating on you just honest feedback :)
