No... the main issue with tuber companies is they literally scam the talents as free money machines while investing nothing in supporting the talents to guarantee that revenue they want from them. You just need to actually support your revenue source like you're suppose to and you'll get stonks.

Bottomless patience doesn't exist. Patient people just know how and when to deal with the frustration.

One benefit of these types of talents is that they burnout less easily, they know they have issues and are more aware of their limitations than naturally talented people are, they are also usually full of spite and that is one of the greatest motivators you can have as a content creator.

TBF, I think it still qualifies in saying "patience of a saint" if those frustrations never came across or got back to the talents. Venting to someone separate and trusted is just a healthy way to deal with things, provided the way it's communicated itself is also non-toxic.

Having this relatively minor drama and dirty laundry aired so publicly is risky but also genius. It means there is less pressure to self censor for the talent, it kills rumours because none of the girls can keep quiet anyway AND most importantly it builds trust between management, talent and the fans. The fact that the CEO has a positive public perception is remarkable in this day and age. A textbook example of thinking outside the box and being innovative whilst taking calculated risks on flawed talent with huge potential. This is legitimate talent management and development. I'm sure there are some issues behind the scenes and it's not a perfect company but it's not a completely cold and soulless corpo either.

Pippa carried Phase Connect on her back. Sakana realized he has no choice but to support her considering how quickly she blew up. By not trying to stifle her edgy humor it helped set an environment for the "sad girls" meme, and that expectation IMO gave Sakana the "right" way to find talent. Instead of looking for the obvious ones, look for the ones who are different and are diamonds in the rough. It's consistently worked - gen3's doing well, the official JP branch is as well.
