Hello Everyone,
In this video I will be sharing the steps to sew a Witch Dress, witch is perfect for Halloween. This dress features a waist and bust darts on the front of the bodice, waist darts on the back of the bodice and small darts in the sleeves. Sleeves are oversized and puffed for drama, and skirt is floor length and very full for twirling.
To complete the witchy look I wore a petticoat, and a witch hat. The petticoat is something I already had, and the witch hat was purchased from the dollar store. I used my scrap fabric and some hot glue to cover the witch hat and then decorated with faux leaves and a ribbon.

Materials:
This dress requires 5 meters of fabric with a width of 60 inches, or 6 meters of fabric with a width of 45 inches. I used a little less than 5 meters of fabric with a width of 60 inches.
I used 25 meters of gold yellow trim.
Matching thread for the fabric and trim. I used brown thread for the dress, and yellow thread for the trim.
A 55-60 cm zipper.
A Little bit of interfacing for the collar. About 1/4 meter.
You may also want to consider purchasing a hook and eye for the collar, and chalk.
