This has got to be the best table accessory I've ever seen My son has been accepted to a welding program through his high school and I'm looking for things to help him practice. Thanks for this project. It'll be a great first project for him that will allow him to master the art of welding.
Red Beard just going "yeah, alright" everytime man cub said something made me chuckle idk why
This place looks magical. So organized and clean. Like a metal supply mall….
This was such an amazing and comprehensive video! Very well done, and thank you so much for taking the time to put this out there!
I liked the way you centered the main tube to the base plate. Neat trick👍
Where did Bob Moffat go, I miss his videos. This was a good video too, thanks for the design idea.

Thanks guys, just getting into welding. Trying to teach myself stick welding, practising different angles and this looks like a good project to try.
I love the bloopers you guys leave in
Hey!!! I was just think about building one these this weekend...thank you for all you guys do!!
This is very helpful. I'm just starting out, so I'm watching a pile of videos in between picking up equipment before I start making stuff. You guys make decent videos. Thanks guys!
This is an excellent channel; your contribution to safety education is invaluable. Thank you and I'll make sure to recommend your videos and topics.
Hugely helpful video for those of us getting started! Thank you both.
Nice job always learning something new. Can't wait to get started on my own. 👍👍👍
Dang that camera transition in the car was smooooth.
This is a really effective and cheap welding stand I love it ❤️ great work guys really enjoying the vids!!
Man I learn something every I watch one off your video's. I like the portaband trick! Keep up the good work. Greetings from Belgium.
Building mine this weekend, during the week I went for the first time ever to get remnants from my local metal supply store & it was super cheap! I called ahead before showing up & told me to come check out the remnants pile. Thanks for the help & tips fellas!!👍🏾
This video is loaded with little fab tips. I used a lot of your examples here to make a tree for welding school. Thx!!👍
Well I know what Im doing this weekend. Say "Hi" to Bob for me. Thanks guys!

Simon Van City where is bob. Miss that guy
great job on the fixture stand , going to build one when I get time ,
Thank you thank you! Appreciate your knowledge and clear explanations. Great to see pros at work.
Learned a lot more than I anticipated. Thanks guys.
Awesome build! Thanks for sharing.
This is so much fun to watch and get pointers on. You'll ALWAYS need jiggs and fixtures like the one in this short to help you out with making all your builds that much easier. Love this really helpful tool you made to make other things. Keep up with this great content bro 👌 I'll be checking in soon again! Thx. ✌😎
I like how eager man cub is to teach. It makes me happy
Just found me an Alro here in Orlando. Love that place. Remnants section is perfect for odd projects.
Love it . I’m gonna build one (Andrew)
A great Support. I'm drawing a welding stand for practice in Autodesk Inventor, your video gives me an excellent idea. Congrats for your channel. Greetings from Chile.

Where? Or did you mean “their”?
Great project. You talked me into making one for my table
Nice project stand. I love the metal store!! That store will have me thinking of all kinds of projects to build.
Thank you a lot for this video. It's super important for me to practice. Especially since my accident and I haven't welded for over 6 months, It may be another year before I'm able to drop my hood again if ever.

Thanks for reaching out 🍻
Awesome, thanks for the build. Just got make one now thanks !!!
I anchor mine in my vise that has a pipe clamp below the main jaw. That way my horizontal pipe arm can be tilted to the 45. I just have an L joint with another piece of pipe at the bottom instead of bolting it to the table. Saved a bit of work.
Ima make this one of my projects this week.
This video is awesome for beginners so they can practice I made a tiny stand for pipe when I was in grade school
Nice pipe & plate test stand 👍 one other good use hang your Paint spray project's again a 👍😁
I didn't know I needed one of those until I watched this.
Best back ground music For a supply house lol
Oh yeah, loved what you did and its something I have wanted but didn't know how, now I do. thanks boys.
Keep this kind of video up man

Awesome video! Helped a lot 🙌
Nice presentation and useful tool
I actually just started practicing two weeks ago and was looking to do something like this at home when I can finally get a machine so a can practice at the house too
Appreciate the money-saving tips.
This video is great. Most of my projects are sourced from the by pound scrap at the local steel supplier.
Great vid. Keep them coming
That was a fun watch!
great job on the welding fixture, I am going to have build one that I can also use for supporting my arm while welding.
Really interesting and well explain instruction.
very handy i am gonna do one for my garage
Great Idea .Thanks
That's a nice stand you made there, god design and very useable
Great tips on all of your techniques!😁🛫
Since when is Man Cub’s nickname Mike?
Awesome! thank you!
Man this exactly what I wanted... Goood job bro... 🔥-on...
Hey that was a cool video! I'll admit I am intimidated to go to the metal supplier, and ours arent open on sat. I kept waiting to see if Bob would pop in with the stick welder !!
Great video/info!!!!
Dope vid I’m trying it
This looks like it could be handy for holding small parts while they were welded up. I am just a home gammer and won't really be studying for certifications but this stand still looks handy.
Great video
Needed this
Nice i need to make one of those.
Nice project
THanks alot. Good Video.
Wow, I'm from a little town and the only steel up for sale is at our machine shop and the guy charges 600% on everything lol. That place looks amazing!
The third hand was a surprice!
Man wish we had a metal supply shop like that in the dfw area....You cant even get cold roll tubing without mail ordering it...
I love this channel I can’t wait to get my TIG welder. It’s on its way from Washington😬
I live in Clearwater, where your shop like take picture and return second trip so you can sign it
Fantastic!
I use a counter sunk screw from below to centre nuts when welding then to plate
Yah.. helpful in many cases.
I wish I had a steel supplier that was a 10th the quality that yours is
Thanks
We use the same design in our welding booths at my school
Now that was a damm good video. I will build one of these. Thanks man
Hello you help me a lot I hope I work in your country I'm from Philippines thank you for the ideas
Asome idea about removing the corner of the square to clear the weld. Asome info! Thanks
Thumbs up, looks good
Super ! Spasibo !
Awesome...i would take the stand you made and add something to rest your arm against when youre welding...
Perfect!
First things first, there is a raw steel junkyard???? Oh oh shouldn't have shown me that one. I want to build a stand on smaller scale, so cool. There are dozens of smart ways to make things I never thought of, and ways to measure things to make it fit easier, thanks.Weld.com got some very good videos.
I wish Alro was open on Saturday's
Gr8 stand. How would you incorporate purging for ss welding 6inch pipe?
Great idea. Should the mill scale be stripped all over ? Or just areas to be welded?
Yay roadtrip!
Drops Mic but ninja type reflexes catches wire and saves the day lol

3:28 is what I’m talking about
I like that. I made my with a chain vise with a swivel to go 5-6-1 g position. And then the other side for plate with a mini table for tacking coupons up similar to triangle engineering. Man this one is simple and space saving gonna make one like also. Awesome job!!
I just made me one last week
Good video, I have a hobart flux core machine that I absolutely love, i use the Lincoln anti Spatter gel that you dip your flux core tip in, just curious is it ok to dip my tip in before it gets warm or hot? Or is it best to wait until after you lay a weld down then dip so that its warm. I didnt know if it makes that big of a difference if its cold when dipping. The stuff has kept my tip looking pretty good though so very happy with it. Just repaired a Toro Recycler 22" deck yesterday, where the grass discharges the bottom is a thin about 1.5"-2" strip of metal and very commonly breaks, but my flux core machine did well repairing it after turning down the amperage 👌
Hey guys I watch a lot of your videos to help me improve my skills and I have a question is there any way you could do a video dealing with the how to and difficulties of d/c aluminum tig it is something I would like to try but have little to no knowledge on if it can be done and what problems I might have
just curious because I saw you spraying anti spatter on the piece before you welded it but are you able to use that when welding anything to code or is it more for just small fab projects?
wish I had a metal supply like that in my area
Thought you was going to be showing us how to slide out a segment of scaffold without the whole lot come crashing down, we've actually got to go out and buy the metal ^^
