Input ko lang, lahat ng mga areas na pwede gumalaw over time idouble weld mo. Like yung bracket, pati sa kabilang side dapat iwelding din. The vibration force with constant use will wear the folds down, kaya mas mabuting magkabila para siguradong matibay at tumagal. Still, you did very well dito.

I dont have any training in metal works. Im self taught, diy small home improvement. I would really love to know, can somebody tell me, do we need to buy a shaft for bearing, is it readily available to the specific hole size or do we need to make our own shaft?

Use the stiff ones. There are three of them. One is longer than the other two. The other two are shorter than the one and are the same as one another. Color is not important but make sure to use structural paint.

For personal use only I hope, I wouldn’t go prepping base for patios and turf with that thing haha Poor compaction, very soft hitting w/ weight added or not

To rotate a 1" shaft, having counter weight of hardly 300-400gms, such a powerful engine is not required. Just a half HP motor would be sufficient. Where's the base frame for the compating plate ? Senseless design..👎

This is exactly how things should NOT be done, a spring should never be welded
