I was looking at various builds. I don't have a shaft and bearings on hand and saw yours with the re-purposed electric motor as the vibrator. I built it much like yours and it works great!

Амортизаторы надо использовать по назначению! А это значит надо повернуть их вертикально. На плите надо сделать утяжелитель, самое простое это сварить ванну с бортами из полосы и залить свинцом. Либо просто пару свинцовых кирпичей отлить и прикрутить к плите. И сделать убирающиеся колеса для перемещения.

made me think that maybe a battery driven compactor might be good for small projects, using a 12V dc motor and an eccentric weight.

Bonjour, je peux savoir combien peut coûter ce petit compacteur ?.
Knew there was something wrong with this design. The oscillating weight is not fully employed. Something about adjusting a rotor to the task. Insufficient density/weight. Could see it in incoming soil to the platform.
This is an awesome build. It would help if you had a clutch on the V-belt pulley of the engine, so it'll idle without turning the pulley on the electric motor you used. That way it will not vibrate while it is idling; just a thought. I'm building one like this myself after watching your video.
