    Hi guys! I apologize for not including the abbreviations as I usually do > Here are the abbreviations used in the video : DC = Double Crochet SL ST = Slip Stitch INC = Increase SC = Single Crochet CH = Chain And here are the stitch count from Round 1 - Round 5 (INC Round) so the tutorial will be easier to follow : R 1 : 10 DC R 2 : INC (20 DC) R 3 : 1 DC - INC (30 DC) R 4 : 2 DC - INC (40 DC) R 5 : 3 DC - INC (50 DC) Thank you guys so much for still choosing my video! I really appreciate your help and support 💕 Stay healthy and be safe! Wish you all nothing but the best. Love, Agira xoxo

    I've only just started this and it's quite easy to do, just one thing I would suggest is to put the stitch count on each row. Other than that it's perfect and I can't wait to finish it for my little girl 💗

    Thank you so much! 🥰 Yes, I actually also consider putting the stitch count, since I make a tutorial and it could make a trouble for people to follow. I guess I need to stop being lazy counting my stitch 😆 Anyway, your daughter must be really cute wearing the hat 💕

    Hi! I'm extremely new to crocheting and I'm following this tutorial to make a gift for my friend's toddler. I wonder how I can adjust the size to fit a 2-3 year old? Please help me.

  • @agira_co

    Hi! To adjust the size, you can add/lessen the Increase Round in accordance to the desireable size. For instance, the Increase Round in this video stops at 3 DC - INC in Round 5 as shown at 7:56 for newborn size. If you want to make it bigger, you can add more Increase Rounds by continuing to 4 DC - INC, 5 DC - INC,... until you reach the size that you want. I would recommend you to make the Increase Rounds until 6 DC - INC for a 2-3 year old. You can add one more (7 DC - INC) if it's too tight or you want to make it a bit loosen. Then, you can continue making the same steps as in the video, which are the No-Increase Round and the Shell Stitch Round (the edging). Since it's a bigger size, obviously you also have to add the rounds of those two steps to fit in with the head measurement. Hope it helps 😊

    Do you have to measure the persons head before crocheting ? I'm trying to make a beanie for a toddler wanted to know how big I should go ?

  • @agira_co

    @agira_co

    Жыл бұрын

    I think you should, for the precise measurement. However, if it's not possible to measure, you can use the universal measurement for hats by age (you can google it). As far as I know, average toddler head is around 18.6 inches. For a little note, beanies usually stretch. You can decrease the head measurement a little, so it won't loosen. Hope this help 😊

  • @agira_co

    @agira_co

    10 ай бұрын

    You can measure the head from above the eyebrow, in the middle of the forehead. To adjust the size, you can add/lessen the INC Round. For example, the INC Round in the video stops at Round 5 with 3 DC - INC (as seen in 7:54) You can adjust by adding to 4 DC - INC, 5 DC - INC, so on... for a bigger size, or lessening to 2 DC - INC for a smaller size. After you finish with the head measurement by adding/lessening the INC Round, then you can continue with the No INC Round for the height of the hat. Hope it helps 😊

    Yes. It is possible for any kind of age. You just need to add the Increase Round to adjust with the head measurement. Also add the No Increase Round for the length and the edging to fit the size. Hope this help! 😉

    Hi! For different sizes, you can continue the INC Round. For example, the INC Round in the video stops at 3 DC - INC. You can continue making it until 4 DC - INC, 5 DC - INC,... until you reach the desired head measurement. Then, you can move on to the next step as in the video. Hope this help 😊

    Ukuran diatas kurang lebih bisa untuk 6 bulan kak. Hanya saja untuk mengantisipasi barangkali kekecilan, tidak perlu menambah round, cukup kakak ganti hakpennya dengan ukuran 5 mm saja. Nanti hasil ukuran topinya akan sedikit lebih besar dari ukuran yg diatas. Semoga membantu 😊

    I put a word 'beginner' in the title because the pattern is easy enough to follow for a beginner. Not my instruction. That is why I suggest in the description to leave a comment if my viewers have difficulty following the instruction. Besides, I didn't write 'beginner' in the title of this video 😊 But I'm working on making a video using a voice. Hope I could afford a microphone someday 🤞🏻 Anyway, thanks for the advice! 💕
