instructions easy to follow, but I think the hat I made for a one year old looks hugs. I think I need to get head measurements to make one the size I need for a niece.

Love your tutorials. I loom but I like to embellish and use your flower tutorials. So I decided to try to make the full hat. On row 4 it starts to ruffle on me. I do not have the shape of a hat I have the shape of a round doily ruffling and its cute but not correct. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? I know w looming if you do A you get B so all my crochet friends out there can tell me what it is I did wrong to get the ruffle started too soon.
