@@oh1912 It went good lol 😄 I don’t know how to explain this but this technique gave me light layers but somehow left the longest strands untouched and the overall length wasn’t really changing if you know what I mean 😅 So I had to try another method and it went great!

It helps you understand if the hairs at the top are really from the back and the bottom from the front :)

mhm yes and no, this method is good if your curl pattern is even. if it’s uneven then you need to cut it dry
