I would love this as a bathroom vanity! I have 54 inches long and 16 inches deep single sink in center 💕 the door hides the plumbing yet easy access and baskets hide the stuff👍

You're going to have a lot of fun, and you'll be pretty surprised at how many cool things you can build with only some basic power tools, and hand tools. Also, don't be shy about building things to sell. Woodworking is a hobby that, not only pays for itself, but can be pretty profitable. Most importantly, HAVE FUN!

When this door slides what keeps the door from swinging inward? The door would swing in and out a bit right?

I could change the dimensions of this (aside from the width) and still use the same hardware right? I think I want it taller and deeper! About the same size as your locker cabinet!

I was thinking of modifying this a little bit (two sliding doors instead of one) and using it in a bathroom for a double vanity. Do you think its sturdy enough for that?

Agree. @shanty2chic do you have the instructions and a video on how to install the barn door hardware? What is the distance of the bottom of the console to the bottom of the bar? Is there a gap between the bottom of the bar and the top of the door? If so, how much? How far in did you place the rhombus? How did you keep the door from swaying in and out?

Build in 2h 😂 lol. I guess if we don't sand it, don't finish it, don't need panels to be squared, don't need shelves to be equally spaced, etc...yeah 2h
