Dear i made DIY Aquarium Chiller with 1/3 hp compressor. working best from last 2 years. in version 3 i used silver box which made too much problem due to salts deposited inside box then i use Stainless Steel SS that is best. or titanium is best but its too much costly.

When you bend the stainless steel tube, how do you prevent it from kinking or collapsing?

Hi Bro! Your efforts are quite interesting. Could you let me know, does Peltier module works on 65+ US gal. aquarium?

yes might work but you will need lots of peltiers DC power supplies and dozens of fans to remove the heat from peltiers. better to use refregerant cooling chiller for larger aquariums

Im using 1 peltier but the ice never buildup, testing the temp on the cold side only 8 Celcius never below

I don't get it. 😅 If the saltwater can not pass through the alum block because of corrosion. How will it cool the tank?

So RO/DI water is flowing through the cold block, and then through the coil that you saw in the beginning of the video, the coil itself gets cold by the RO/DI water and you can just hang the coil in your sump
