The layering technique will give the piece a nice dimension. It’s very difficult to capture that on camera but I promise the faux opal looks better in person!

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please ALWAYS use resin with proper precautions including wearing proper PPEs (glove, mask, respirator etc) AND working in a well ventilated space. I recommend getting a hold of the SDS (Safety Data Sheet) info that every resin company has available to the public (by law). This has all the info about the resin you are using including the precautions you need to take and first aid care. Watch my resin safety video for more info: • RESIN SAFETY | Importa...
Supplies I used were purchased from many places including my local craft stores, Etsy, Ebay, Amazon, Sophie&Toffee, Miniature Sweets, and Aliexpress

    Some UV resin has a thin, sticky layer when the piece is completely cured; it’s normal. Simply wipe it with 70% alcohol - for jewelry I use alcohol pads.

    Beautiful! I just bought my stuff but I am finding multiple cure times. How long is the recommended cure time? My UV lamp is 150W

  • @AmyMade

    @AmyMade

    2 жыл бұрын

    I would suggest to use whatever wattage and cure time is recommended by the resin you’re using! Sometimes using a wattage that is too strong can create heat spikes in the resin causing weird things to happen

    My birthstone 😍😍😍Can you do a video of making silicone molds of guaged tunnels and plugs for stretched ears. I want to custom make my own but I can't get the silicone to work with the teeny tiny threads for tunnels with screw on backs and I find the saddle shape difficult and painful to put in my ears..I do have a single flare set but the metal is so thin the silicone falls back into itself when I remove the plug:( maybe I'm doing something wrong with the silicone. Or if you know of where I can purchase the molds I need for making my own. With resin epoxy??? I haven't had any luck finding them.
