Hi, my name's Abi and I live in Japan. I love crafting, especially shrink plastic and resin projects! I first started crafting when I found a blog that made amazing food miniatures using only dollar store supplies! I was a poor high school student back then so it was perfect for me. I don't make clay miniatures as much anymore, but would love to get back into it soon! Please share any DIY projects you've been working on with me on any of my social media accounts! I try to reply to as much as I can ♡

since I don't have pigments or acrylic paint I tried to use chalk pastel... and it actually works pretty well. But I think I'll try the acrylic paint! it's cheap and it looks very good!
haha yeah it’s demold! the glitter one turned out so pretty 😭💞
Excellent tutorial. I’m very new to resin crafting. Of the dozens of videos I’ve watch over the past number of weeks…yours has been the best. Thank you 😊
I like the glitter and acrylic paints best. Your resin hearts are beautiful!
Thank you so much. I've used uv resin for a couple of years and I always thought acrylic paint wouldn't work. It looks great! x ❤
I use acrylic paint a lot. If you’re not careful, it can get kinda stringy. It doesn’t do anything to the actual piece, but it does make it a little more difficult to put in smaller, more intricate molds.
How lovely do they look together. Love them all
I actually liked that paint sample too. It's a really nice paint to start with!
Thank you! I’m just getting re-introduced to resin and needed a refresher!
Thank you SO much for this video. I am getting some products for beginning this hobby and you’re one of the few (along with polymomo) who uses acrylic. It’s going to save me a ton as a beginner seeing as I’m a painter! Thanks SO SO SO much! Can’t wait to build my collection and eventually get lots of colors and glitters and pigments like you!
They all turned out so well! I love that glitter heart, it's so sparkly 😍💜
That glitterrrrr😍✨
I'm a new but INSTANT fan of yours, my dear!!! THANK YOU for this simple, TO THE POINT, not filled with detail of the last 10yrs of your "crafting journey," ABSOLUTELY PERFECT, tutorial!!!! I'm a painter who's new to resin & I had no clue if micas (I use TLP micas in painting) HAD to be mixed directly into UV Resin OR...if paint could be used in place of micas. And BING, BANG, BOOM... in LESS time than it took for ME to write THIS accolades full comment that you SO definitely deserve, I ALREADY KNOW! So MUAH, MUAH, MUAH! 😘😘😘 And, since this was awhile back, I DO hope you're still on board & are accomplishing EVERYTHING you've hoped to accomplish. 😁 ~yvette in SC.
You can also paint between layers it can give a really cool effect.
Oh wow thanks a bunch for demonstrating the different things to use in resin, i prefer the acrylic paint & the glitter is awesome. I will try the powder as well, thank you, this video was helpful.
thanks you so much! glitter and acrylic was my favorite
Love the glitter 💜💜💜
Thank you! So helpful!
Very comprehensive and useful video. Thanks.
I love the glitter one they all turn out pretty
Amazing helpful tips !
Nice job. I enjoyed watching this.
Thanks for a great video! I am so Happy the acrylic paint worked out. Yay!:)
i am impressed to now i can use the rest on My UV Resin Thank you Lorien
Thank you I learned a lot ❤️
I've used small amounts of acrylic paint in resin (two part resin tho) and it was just fine, so I can't imagine it's that much different from UV resin. Off to get myself translucent pigments!
Nice! Thanks for this!
this video is gold girl!
Hi, I never used resin before but I ordered some uv resin now and I was looking for ways to color it so thanks for the video. And actually my favorite ones were the acrylic paint and the glitter 😂😍
I need to see this video 🤗 Thank you for sharing so much information! I’m about to try the glitter one right now at 2am haha. 💛
Awesome! Thank you!!
I like the acrylic paint and the pastel liquid and the glitter the best
Wow thanks for all the possibility! !
Thank you for your generosity with your knowledge! There is also acrylic inks available, more pigment with less binder. Also can be added to color various acrylic paint mediums (Matte, gloss, sculpting gel, etc) which I already use it for. Going to buy some UV resins gel, and little pots with lids, and crazy variations of mica powders too…thanks for the inspiration 🤗
Very helpful! I'm new to uv resin! I'm planning to try glitter and paint!
Those are so pretty!! :)
I think I will try all
Omg so cute😍
Thank you for your information It is very helpful
This was a very informative video. I really been wanting to do resin crafts with uv or liquid diamond resin set ups. And always wondered what pigments were best, and how they would look. This video set my mind at ease.
So pretty. I got to find the heart because my granddaughter wants one
Thank you so much for your informative video. I am new to uv resin. I have only been an epoxy resin gal but I am trying to get away from the long curing and exposure to so much toxins. Hope to view the rest of your videos.
Amazing
They are all beautiful but I like the glitter and acrylic paint most. I’m a beginner trying to learn different methods and ways to resin jewelleries before mixing my resin and hardner. Wish me luck 😜
I use ink to pigment my resin and it works well!
Great demo and comparison. I like the glitter one. I've tried to use acrylic paint just by swirling it into the mold that is filled with clear resin. It cured most of the way. But if I press on it it will squirt out the paint. Lol
Thank you so very much
Tysm!
Love your work. I suscribe already.

Like any item better quality paint always work better.(I use acrylic paint as other may not work) I try the $1 paint bottle with epoxy resin and it was ok. Then I use a more expensive paint ($10 for a small set) and it work way better. You need a paint that strong, pigmented, and do not have a lot of liquid. The expensive paint I have is basically a blob with no liquid. I only need a little for the color to show hence a better cure and better color. The water paint always need more and harder to cure. Paint is awesome cuz it come in more color. Some shade are almost impossible (like peach or light brown) to find in powder or liquid color. While paint has every color of the rainbow, cheaper (a small tube is last way longer than liquid bottle), and easier to find. Hence I suggest everyone to try paint at least once before not using it. Note: Also depend on your resin. I use art and glow (or higher brand name resin) and it work fine. If you buy cheap resin it may not work. Again, it about money. Buying knock off and cheap item don't always work well and it not the actual type of of product. Plus some product just don't work well. Also you can use nude eyeshadow (peach, warm brown, nude shade etc) to color human skin cuz resin pigment don't offer many skin tone. It easy to find and inexpensive.
Greetings from Tucson, Arizona USA. I just discovered your channel and subscribed.
Very good a great an informative video for beginners! Good job. I think you should’ve added the type of ink or liquid pigment that you used. I think that would’ve been helpful for the new people coming in. But overall great job.👍
Love the videos can u tell me the type of lamp u are using for setting your resin
I use one particular acrylic paint for UV resin only because I cannot find a way to get that color otherwise. It is a tan color that is perfect for the popsicle sticks for my popsicle mold.
Hi.. I am so happy to found out your channel, which is best to learn resin’s for non-Japanese people living in Japan like me 😃 I am absolute beginner to resin’s and trying small things from Daiso so far. You gave a brilliant idea to use acrylic paints for resine.. because that one turned out really best of all 👌👌 I just have one question about acrylic paint with resine. Is it safe to use acrylic paint for resine jewelry? Like earrings and pendants which directly touches to our skin? Will it be safe to use in jewelries for kids? I look forward for your reply on this😍 Thanks 😊
Thank you so much!!!🥰💕💗Your video is beautiful and amazing! Your crafts are so cute, love hearts💗God bless you dear.! ☦️☀️⭐Thank you so much!!💕💗🌸🤗🤗🤗
Thank you for the very informative video. I'm about to get my first patch of everything and see that for every type if color you have 3 primary colors, cyan, purple, sometimes an extra red and pink. Are these colors hard to mix from primary colors? Is it necessary to get them or it's cor the convenience? Thanks ☺️
i am thinking of making a large bedside table (from pine) and i wanna coat the top with a coloured resin, so it will be flat and a unique piece of furniture. what would you recommend
Can you use any type of acrylic paint
I have to reccomend one that wasn't included, food coloring! I would just use one drop because it's really pigmented, but I would also be pretty careful because some are water based and can mess them up. McCormick is pretty good and cheap
How do you do to use uv resin and not ended up having an sticky piece?
Thanks so much for a great video- I had been wondering if powdered pigments work in UV Resin! Question- where did you get your stir sticks that you used? I cannot find them anywhere or maybe I don't search using the correct description? Thanks
thanks for sanity checking, before I'm gonna mix it with my 3D printing resin :DDD
Hi, I wanted to know if I can use what ever acrylic I can buy or does it have to be a specific brand and where can I buy those types of colors! Loved your video btw💗
What lamp do you recommend for curing?
Try a color shift paint or dragonfly. Think it would be really nice. Thanks for sharing.
How long are you leaving under the lamp for each? I've been playing with UV Resin and even when using Colored UV Resin added to the clear, something the piece will not cure after 30+ mins. Such as, I have the same set of "solid" colors as you and tried the grey and it didn't cure. Any tips for how much time vs how much coloring to add?
Where did you get the pearl pigments and the chunky glitter? I’m in love with the purples!
hi, i was wondering if you can use the liquid pigments in epoxy resin or do they only work for UV ? :)
Hi. It's so pretty 😍 especially the one with glitters. I just wanna ask. Does your UV resin have a strong odor? If it does. How do you get rid of it?
Can you do a UV resin beginner video? I'm not sure which is the best resin to buy or what lamp or even how many times it has to go under the lamp.
Good video
This was something i needed to see. I somewhat use UV resin but I wasn't sure about what I could color it with outside of pigments that is meant for that type of resin. I do know that with 2 part resins there is a wide range of things you can used to color the resin with but you still have to be careful with some (some of my favorites to see is things like drink mix powder and other food powders, I just don't think they will work that well with UV resin... maybe....)
Can you please tell me where can I buy pastel dyes? Thanks 🌹
Hello how are you? I'm new to creating art with resin and I was wondering where did you purchase your liquid pigments in this video and also what is the name of those items? I already have acrylic paint and glitter which is good but those liquid pigments that you use are really beautiful. Thank you for your help.
How do you determine how long to cure for? And can you over-cure? I'm just getting started, thanks
THANK YOU!!! I really appreciate you showing the acrylic pain coloring. I'm going to try these, the pigments cost so much money!
Would u recommend graffiti resin ? It can be used as it is or it needs mixing?
Can you please tell me what the postal Colours are called and where can I buy them iv been looking for these colours
Can I mix resin pigment colour with all purpose glue n acrylic medium when using acrylic pouring paint
Where did you buy the heart small one
how long did you have the heart under the lamp?
Sooo pretty. If you have any other videos let me know. I'm a beginner. Thank Lisa p.sp where did u get that mixing plastic stick
How do u make the colour less opaque? Just add less paint
Can you use uv nail polish to colour uv resin?
I am new. Want to try this uv thing. So, where can I purchase it, the drier and instructions. I live in Puerto Rico. Thanks. By the way, really like your tutorials!!!!
Can u use food coloring
Hello, what brand of resin are you using? What is brand of purple liquid dye? I think it was the next method after powder dye. Lastly, how long do you leave objects under uv light? Thank you! Great vid!
Could you paint the mold with acrylic paint 1st and then pour the resin on top?
I like to use acrylic paint a lot, I use Americana paint. Btw, if any of you use it with two-part resin, add 1 drop per 10 ml, this way your resin can cure properly, the same if you use food coloring.

Not sure if this has been asked but where did you get the cute little heart mold?
what web sit do your get the putty co coloring?
What is the white stick you're using called please?
may I know normally where do you buy all the colored resin? or do you have any recommendation website to buy those color resin?
Where did you get the heart mold? 😍
I wonder if I can use the liquid pigment for epoxy resin 😭
Is it possible to layer the ink in a mould. Sorry if this is a silly question. I mean like not fill all the mould cure that colour then later another bit of resin with a different shade? I'm trying to get a galaxy effect in a Jewell drop mould.
Your voice is soo charming cute✌️. Just a question, is liquid color resin applicable to thermoplastics too?
I'm trying to get a transparent aqua/Turquoise, and mint green. I bought some resin colorants on amazon and they are liquid. The blue faded into a grayish color after being under the lamp. I had bought it based on the name saying it was for uv resin. Do you have any recommendations for a transparent one that won't fade? Thanks.
What brand of UV resin do you use
