We made these and they were fantastic! Thanks for the recipe. Only thing to watch out for is if you’re using something other than the pink Himalayan salt it can be too salty. So scale it back a bit. I only had table salt so I had to adjust a bit. Overall a fantastic recipe and great instructions! Looking forward to your other recipes.

I have always wanted to try a puffy taco! They look so good! Why don't Mexican restaurants serve them? Because it's a Texas thing? I would try to make them but I don't have a deep fryer. Thank you for the video!

I made these tonight and they didn’t puff at all and tasted like straight salt. I used exact measurements from the description and followed along and did what you did. Oil was hot. Any idea why they wouldn’t puff?

I don’t know about tortillas, but if my baking powder is a couple of months old, my biscuits are flatter and more dense than when the powder is fresh.

Sounds like you might have used baking soda instead of baking powder.
