This is the perfect review... I was looking for something actually simple which wouldn't make me burst into tears!! :P And you're right... Although I had to set my planter down right side up (already had a plant in it) and tie around the container so I could get the measurements right. Would recommend!

Lol 😂 I relate to this comment. Haven't tried to make one yet though.
finally an easy tutorial for which you don't have to learn three different macramé knots first - I am BAD at handicraft, people! seriously though, it looks lovely. I'd love more room decor diys :)

Nice! I can't wait to make some as well. Good for you, happy crafting
I was looking for a tutorial, expecting to need macrame cords etc but this was so surprisingly beginner friendly and made me use my twine instead of buying new materials. I love using stuff I already have at home. Thank you for the lovely and quick tutorial, the lil plant looks so cosy in the planter hanging in the air.
I cut my old T - shirt into long pices of cloth and did this :)

Awesome!
I used to work in a hardware store where we would sell a very similar knot patterned holder like this but with different strings. It was $20 each. Thank you for this video because jute twine is only like $3.

Thats what i thought aswell. I work in a garden center and they go for like 25 Dollars each. Its crazy. I started making my own with jute string. looks and feels a lot better when its made by yourself.
THE EASIEST tutorial ive ever seen thank u so much
Ahhhh! I’ve got it now! Thank you. I love the name “Fairyland Cottage”! How beautiful and adorable!

Thank you, rearranging my home and I just saved $30 😂
Turned a big cobalt blue glass bowl into the most beautiful planter I've ever had. Great little DIY project!
Easiest tutorial ever! And I somehow managed to jack it up....made the mistake of planting the flower in the pot first then trying to do this by eyeballing it. Cut the rope way too short and uneven, also the rope I used is too thick. And used dull scissors to cut the rope. And I stupidly allowed my cats to be in the room with me. 🤦🏼♀️ don’t be like me. Actually watch the video step by step. I made the mistake of watching the video a week ago and tried to do it by memory. I am a dummy. Listen to the smart woman in the video.

Oof - my plant and dirt are already in the pot, but fortunately I have a second identical pot, so I'll use that for measuring (instead of planning to try using the current planted pot). Thanks for the heads up!

@@alisunnie Oh my god I completely forgot about this 😂😂😂 I ended up buying an actual plant hammock after this failure. Unfortunately I later accidentally killed the violets I had in it 😅

Thank you! Finally found someone sharing a very basic and straightforward video about how to ( simply ) hang a plant without making sound like we're kinda getting into mars! Love your craft, care and voice too 🙏🏼🥰
Thank you for making macrame accessible for us all 👍 Looking forward to more like this - ideas that enhance our homes without costing the environment.

Clear English and instructions! Thanks a lot dear, I will start my ceiling garden with this 😍
Wow! Lovely plant hanger…so simple and doable.❤
Watched and tried a slightly simpler version just before watching this. It didn't work due to a lack of stability. Your method is not only much more solid, but also way prettier while still being relatively simple. I love it and I'm sure my girlfriend will too. Thank you so much! ❤
I absolutely LOVE this!!! So simple and still so beautiful! Thank you! I’m hooked!
Thanks so much for this! Simple and to the point tutorial and consequently easy to follow for a first timer. I made a lovely plant hanger in 15 min, my first one! Many more are to follow for sure. Thanks.

Wow, thank you very much for this video. You have explained it well. Look, how simple it is to make that pot hanger! I have some big plastic bowls in which I would love to convert them into hanging pots and put some Devil's ivy plants to hang all around my house to increase the green cover.

Ahhh! so cute Niamh. I am a plant mama too, i just love the energy these green beauties bring to a space. Great video once again, this is much more sustainable than the synthetic nylon hangers you see in the shops, and in my opinion a lot prettier. I love your diy videos :)
