DIY Pirate Treasure Chest - Laser Cut Box
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Today we'll be looking at making a DIY Pirate Treasure Chest with integrated cabinet hinges and laser engraving a skull pattern on it.
For this project, I'll be using my 50-watt co2 laser cutter.
The wood we use in this laser cut project is 1/8" or 3mm Baltic Birch plywood painted white and stained with water based black stain.

These are really cool looking boxes, It went by very quickly, I would have liked to see a little bit of real time clips, like how the color is applied and how the hinges are attached, looking forward to the next video

on the hinges, do you glue the outer hinge pieces to keep em on the dowl

You can, but I try to make holes where the dowles that fit tightly, so there's no need for glues.

Nice video, however, it would be good to slow it down so we could see what you're actually doing. Way too fast for me.

Hey, great looking boxes, thank you for the video! Can I ask please what you used for the pin to assemble the hinges? I'm having a go at the same boxes and there is no info for the pin on boxes.py. Thanks.

Just make the hole to the size of whatever dowels you have availible. I used bamboo skewers at 4:50 .
