DIY Pimple Treatment With Just Two Ingredients

Ойын-сауық

What if we told you there was a DIY blemish-zapping lotion that not only shrinks the pesky thing but also reduces the redness and can even kill bacteria? Well, it's true. You can actually make your own overnight treatment at home. All it takes is your favorite astringent or tea tree oil and a bottle of calamine lotion. It'll cost you less than $10 at the grocery store and will last you around six months to boot.

    What was the point in putting so much of each product in the bowls, when clearly all of that isn't going to fit into that tiny container? Literally, she could have just squirted/carefully poured some of the calamine lotion, witch hazel, and tea tree oil into the containers in the correct order. Absolutely no need to waste so much by transferring it into bowls in order to suction enough to transfer into the little glass container. Smh.

  • @mochaabunn

    You can't.. You literally can't. It'll separate and float to the top. XD She took so many extra steps. All you really need is to dilute some rubbing alcohol with water or which hazel and pour that in over the calamine lotion. You can get both of these ingredients at the dollar store. $2 and you have more than a year supply of this stuff.

    This reminds me of Kate Sommerville Eradikate! Except hers has sulfur in it, rather than the tea tree oil. But it's the pink calamine lotion color and you aren't supposed to shake it, you do the q-tip dip thing...Yep. But her version is $22 for that small 0.5 oz bottle!!! This is definitely a more cost effective way of zapping a zit!!

    @shaylajacquelyn

    +Nicole Tucker its not supposed to mix its supposed to settle separately. So when you dip your qtip in the first thing to hit your blemish is the astringent which is the outer layer and then the calamine lotion which reduces swelling and redness will dry onto your skin and protect it overnight. 2 products on the market like this. One is the mario bedescu drying lotion, it aactually works really well.
