Not a bad job at all, especially considering what you started with. Those thin pallet slats really are the pits aren't they! 😆I feel your pain dude, sanding intricate stuff like those juice grooves is nothing short of painful. A proper "man sized" charcuterie board for man sized picnics. I had no idea hardwax oil was food safe, every day is a school day. 👍 You might want to have a fiddle with the audio settings for your new mic as it seems to be much much quieter than your old one, I had to turn my laptop speakers up to max to hear you.

I’m not sure If hard wax oil is good safe just a warning haha I use hard wax because I don’t intend on putting raw food on it it’s for when I have camp fires at the beach with my friends so we don’t have to have everything on the sand and thanks for giving me the heads up on the mic I know you can play around with the settings on this one so I’ll have to look into it and see what I can do quiet audio is no good haha

No worries- hard wax oil is food safe. So is shellac. The board turned out great after the woodworker’s struggle we’re all familiar with.

Going to save up for a new mic I think I’ve had a play around with the setting and I can’t seem to get the audio loud enough unless I hold it up to my mouth so I’ll just have to hold my mic fornow and save up for a better quality one

Perhaps an easier way of doing it, would have been to add the bread board ends (side pieces) oversized, plenty of material on the piece, then using a track saw or track saw jig. Put a straight edge on them

The issue I was having which I didn’t explain really in the video is there was about 1mm and abit taper on the male side of the tongue and grove (something must be wrong with my router sled and make one of the side slightly thicker than the other so when I’d make the female side of the joint (that was bang on the measurement I took) it would spilt because it would wedge it open because of the taper I got round this with some chisel work and and giving myself more clearance on the female side of the joint which worked on in the end but in future I need to check that everything is flat, square and parallel before attempting precise joints

I'm not dizzy but maybe consider soms fixings in the shed where you can mount your cam/cell on to so you dont waste time adjusting the camera all the time, but I'm a fan of this brutal kinda 90's mtv shizzle tbh lmao!! (the new mic needs some adjusting too it seems, sorry for nagging my friend)

No thank you I need this sort of feedback I wanna make the best content I can for you guys so hearing this helps me a lot. I’m going to save up for a new mic I think but I have to hold this one right next to my mouth for it to be loud which is disappointing because I spent a decent amount of money on it and I have a new camera mount so I can get new angles and hold the camera in a stable position
