    I appreciate the simplicity of the steps, while also giving enough detail to do it correctly (I.e. mentioning what stitch to use). A great tutorial!

    Hi there. Thanks for the help. I'm confused a bit. I didn't see you do a back stitch when doing the stitching to connect the sleeves to the shirt. Is doing a back stitch not necessary to keep the thread from coming apart over time?

    Dope channel, keeping doing dope work. Second question - I'm trying to by another machine. I been looking at the Janomes any problems with the 1000 when it comes to leather or denim?

  • @kenandrewdaily

    @kenandrewdaily

    Janome HD-1000 is a good everyday machine, it can do denim/leather to a certain extent. If you're going to be doing industrial work I would step up to a commercial machine.

    I want to hem the sleeves and bottom of the shirt with an overlocker.. How can I do it? bcus the blade cuts fabric that I don't want to be cut. I tried a blind hem but it doesn't look like normal shirt hems when u look at it from the right side up :/ I want to achieve the same look on normal shirts that look like they have been sewn with straight stitches but when you turn it inside out, theres an overlock stitch. Thanks!

    okay thanks. So you mainly work with stretchy fabrics? Because the material you get is nice and in the fabric stores I been in they don't really have a lot of nicely printed stretch fabric so i thought your printed fabrics were cotton.

    When you sew the ribbed knit on the neck, is the tee inside out because i'm confuse, I think the tee is on the right side but just in case I ask you

  • @kenandrewdaily

    @kenandrewdaily

    10 жыл бұрын

    The tee is right-side up. After you finish sewing it on, you flip up the ribbed material so the wrong side of the fabric isn't showing.

    Hey awesome vid! :) If I'm making shirts for different sizes (XS, S, M, L, XL etc.) how can I keep the same scale dimensions but different sizes? For example, if I make a XS shirt, how many inches/cms do I add to each side of the shirt to make it a S(small) Thanks :)

    Rom2Fast | Beythoven I don't have a definite method on doing this other than taking measurements from pre-made clothes. But I believe it goes like this: For every size up, you add 1-2 inches.

    Triple A/ Pro Club are really good T-shirt brands. I use them in all of my videos and they are relatively cheap. Clothes only fade if you wash/dry them a certain way. None of my clothes fade because I hang dry them.

    Ay bro an easier way to do the sleeves would be to sew the shoulder pieces together and leave the side unstitched and law the two pieces out flat and sew the sleeve where it should go that way you dont need to cut off excess fabric and you can sew up the sleeve and the side all in one
