That jersey is filthy man! You've inspired me to learn how to sew over the summer, and make some of my own stuff for the next school year, bless you man
Your channel is a blessing!! Thank you so much for the tutorials
dude, you're amazing. I can't wait to try this stuff out. Thanks for adding detail to what your tools are and explaining the process. Keep it up!
This was a wonderful tutorial! Love the fabric and your explanation process. The jersey shoulders looked a little wide on you in my opinion, but it didn't take away from how good it looked. Thank you for making such a good video!
your channel is one of the best i've seen in a while. super dope!
This was actually really cool. I've been sewing since I was in High School and used to make my own clothes for school because fabric back then was on point and really cheap! I was voted "Best Dressed" for 3 years in a row because of my own creations!! I'm so proud of that, for real. Nothing crazy, just pretty cool button down shirts with iron on designs on it to make it "pop" and they really looked super cool. The most important thing here to do is really take the time to know what you're doing and really want, so you can get a really good outcome. And, which you forgot to mention (and I always did this because grandma taught me) was have an iron close by. It really makes a difference for when you start sewing and want your stitches to look good when you finish your outfit!! Thanks for sharing Bro!! Good luck to you!!
This is the exact thing I have been looking for and I am thrilled! I just need longer sleevel!!
I don't use the helm tape for the collar pipping. Instead, I use trim that looks like shoelace. Because it it can bend without folding. The range is about $1 to$3 a yard depends in the fabric, thickness of the lace. It also comes in all colors.
Great vid man! I look forward to seeing you tutorials all the time!

No problem, glad that my work is appreciated. Much love.
awesome tut. bias cuts are cut on the bias doe aka diagonally. with a stretchy lining fabric it will still work but bias cuts are used because they do not fray and have a more give.
@kenandrewdaily
10 жыл бұрын
Bias cut or strip is usually defined as that. But in the context of my video, I decided to give that strip the name of "bias strip", just so people can reference it in the video.
This is so sick ! You're one talented person to do this.

Thanks man, I always appreciate the support. It will take some time to learn, but don't worry you will be able to make one yourself. Yeah, I've been learning a lot about European history lately and decided to pick this up haha.
Starting on mine today!
What's the fabric that is used for professional jerseys? And where can you buy it?
Awesommmeeee! I also like that the sleeves are slightly puffy because it gives it that Renaissance look LOL! Don't know if that was intentional but it came out great! Love the print!
@kenandrewdaily
10 жыл бұрын
It's a bit puffy because of the fabric, It needs to be hanged and ironed haha. But it looks normal now. Thanks!
hi is the hem tape with glue? if not, can i use any normal taping? (:
I give major respect to you.

Where do you get your fabric
That was purely amazing!! I'm about to try this, what fabric would you recommend using? I heard what you used for the back but I was wondering what the renaissance pattern was made of
@kenandrewdaily
10 жыл бұрын
Double knit cotton is the default type of fabric used for baseball jerseys. But you can use any type of fabric. The renaissance pattern is made out of a cotton/polyesterday blend. It's very thin. I like thin. It all comes down to what you personally like.
love it mane

No problem, and you can make a Hockey jersey with my two-toned sweater tutorial.
lol the way you say buttons tho.....great job on the jersey
So I tried doing pleather material & had constant bubbles appearing in the armpit section. Is there any other way to execute considering the material?
@kenandrewdaily

Tension could be too tight and or the length is too small.
Shit is soo dope bruh..Do you have any insight on making custom patches or a name and number on the jersey?
@kenandrewdaily
10 жыл бұрын
That's getting into embroidery/screenprint/etc. It would be cheaper to get it done at a local shop.
Nice vids man, What is the fabric you used called? with the painted img on it

Do they have a web store? And shipping to europe?
What type of fabric was used
Just received a good roll of baseball fabric. There's one thing I won't have to do, is the piping. Because the fabric has stripes. It was would be too much work and the finished jersey will not look good. Instead of the buttoned variety, I will create my jersey in the v neck fashion. Some of the cut edges I will just sew them is a cross stitch to just keep the fabric from frailing apart. Thanks for the tutorial. The only problem I have is that every time I sew the bottom helm area. It bunches up. I'm trying to figure out to avoid that problem.

Dale Mcilwain You're welcome! You might need to switch your needle to a ball point one.
@dalemcilwain
9 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Kenny. But the baseball fabric solved that problem. Made from 100% polyester, it stretches. So I can spread out the helm before I can pin it down. It saved me some time and headaches to set the helm right. I'm awaiting for the ribbed knit fabric to arrive. Will send you a picture as soon I've completed my very first baseball jersey. Again, thank you very much. Sew well! :)

You should make your own with leather. it would look dope.
About to get my fabric now :). But could we have ironed the hem tape.
@kenandrewdaily
10 жыл бұрын
You can iron or stitch the hem tape. I rather stitch the tape because the tape falls off in the washer/dryer
Dude i need that fabric where did u get it?
@kenandrewdaily
10 жыл бұрын
I got it from Yardage Town in El Cajon
show a quick tutorial? cause i cant seem to find the hem tape anywhere here in Hawaii. it would be much appreciated
@kenandrewdaily
10 жыл бұрын
It's really difficult to be honest. To make it, Measure a 3 in. width strip and the length is about 3 yds. Fold each side of the strip in one inch and sew it down. It's actually easier to buy the hem tape from the store than make it yourself. 3 bucks versus 15-20 bucks. I recommend buying it from JoAnn's online store if you don't have a JoAnns in your area.
Super dope thanks for making tutorials that hardly anyone else makes btw would you be willing to make one for me and if so how much would you charge if I gave you the fabric?
