A pouch that opens wide and almost becomes a tray is something that is so practical for so many different uses. Any time you want to easily see and access all of the contents at once but still want to keep them contained, this is a great option. Thank you for sharing!

NOTE to those who might attempt to make the larger size - do not use the inches as the measurements are incorrect. Use the cm measurement. Someone found out the hard way. :)

At first, I used this technique and messed up and wasted 3 hours. I'm able to sew a magic pouch in another method. This technique is very hard. Zipper pull should have been pulled out so sewing will be much easier.

Me too, as a quilter I used the inch directions, ruined my pretty & quite expensive pieces of fabric. Unsure to try other patterns from this lady.

There is a difference between Chinese inches and imperial inches. A Chinese inch is the equivalent to about 1.13 imperial inches which is perhaps why there was a discrepancy when your fabric was cut.

@@annejones7510 I never knew that! I was watching and taking notes to resize it to almost double, 12.5"x5.5", and the measurements weren't adding up in my head. I'm glad ya'll posted this info, thanks so much for catching and especially for coming back and sharing without being snarky about it, and now we find out it's a translation thing. 👍🏻🤓

This is the perfect travel pouch for me, I like to see my jewelry all spread out and if I used mesh fabric I could make packing cubes!

Someone else caught that the inches used in the video don't translate exactly to Emperial measurements used in the US so, fellow Americans, use the Metric dimensions 😉 Your videos are beautiful and easy to follow with no language barriers. Your bags are super practical and I like that you have all different skill levels for projects. I can start simple and keep challenging myself, all on your channel. Plus your designs are so unique! This Open Wide is my favorite. 👍🏻💯❤️

Didn't think a little pouch could be so much work/include so many steps. Probably the reason I don't see this around very much even if it is much more practical than most other pouches. Still gonna try it though. Thank you for this easy to follow step by step tutorial and the measurements

이틀동안 사투를 벌여서 성공했어요! 안쪽 시접을 바이어스한 부분이 많이 어설프게 됐지만 전체적으로 모양은 안틀어지고 잘 나왔어요. 파우치 물건 많이 들어가구 넘 좋아요.다른천으로 더 만들어서 지인들한테도 선물하려구요. 좋은 영상감사합니다~^^
