I just made this for my daughter this morning. Turned out wonderfully! I did add a lightweight fusible interfacing to each lining piece and thicker pellon fusible interfacing to each outer piece for better durability & sturdier structure. I highly recommend those who are just starting do the same so you don't end up with a flimsy bag. THANK YOU for this pattern & tutorial!

I did the same and I also added zipper pull tabs to both sides to make zipping it easier. Great cosmetic bag. Thx for sharing this video.

@@hannahprindiville7825 fusible interfacing is a white material that you add to the wrong side of your fabric to give it more stability(stiffer) so it will hold its shape. It comes in different stiffnesses ( for lack of a better word lol’) U don’t want a bag that collapses in on itself.

@@hannahprindiville7825 Yes. If you sew the bag without the structure lining I mentioned, it will be a flimsy final product. The one I made follows the video instructions, but I added strength, structure, & durability with interfacing between the inside & outside layers of fabric. Final result is a high quality lovely bag. Happy sewing!

You do everything right that everybody else gets wrong: - Show the finished product at the beginning of the video - Show clearly the measurements, material and notions required right from the start - use light colours - with dark colours you can't always see what is going on. - use good camera angles so that your hands don't obliterate the view

I love how makers are sharing all over YT. I've done several projects recently, and all the goofs are my own. However, some could take a cue from your channel and provide super clear instructions (using well-framed layout space, good edits), and a separate close view of sewing.
