My husband loves tiny models, so I got him this a few Christmases back, thinking he might like to try. He loved it, but felt so overwhelmed that he never got around to starting. I decided to make it for him for Christmas this year and it's SO involved. Somewhere around the 100th book, I started pondering all my life choices, but then I got some scrapbook paper to use as wallpaper and cut the ends of a million popsicle sticks to create a custom wood floor. What is happening??! This is REALLY fun??? Mine isn't going to look like the model exactly, but I think that's what I'm enjoying about it. I just knit a teeny tiny rug for the library. 🤦 So anyway, even if you've never tried building a little tiny room, you might like it. It's my first, but now I'm customizing it and planning a second tiny build. What is my life lol

It looks great! I decided to paint the walls different colors like yours, as I found the all white kind of boring. I'm almost done the whole kit, but I'm REALLY getting frustrated by the wiring! I'll have to buy more wire and heat-shrink tubes, as I've had to redo them so many times. I feel like I won't do any more miniatures, even though I really enjoyed everything else.

Hi! Thank you for asking! This kit is intimidating, but if you go slow and take your time, it'll be a lot of fun! I highly recommend Beacons 3-in-1 glue! It's thick and stays in place and dries fast. Also, for any paper gluing, I'd use regular Elmers glue. Also, having some electrical tape, painters tape, or scotch tape handy will be a life saver! I used a lot of tape for the lighting and to hold pieces together while they dried. My BIGGEST advice: if something is frustrating you or is "too hard" just move on to another portion. For ex. I HATE when furniture has really delicate wires (like this chandelier) because I can never get it right. So I worked on something else and then made up my own design for the chandelier ^___^ I hope this helps! have fun!

I'll admit, I wasn't entirely sure of what I was getting into with clicking on this video. XD Like obviously I can read and see that you're putting together a kit, that part makes enough sense. But I didn't really know what was going on for most of this. Were you making a kit according to instructions, were you modifying it to fit your taste better, etc, so on and so forth. I'd love to know more about what got you into miniatures like this, they're super cute! This kit gives me some serious Aziraphale vibes (I'm a bit of a closeted Good Omens fan). It's got a lot of charm to it, very quirky. I guess what I've learned is that this kind of content isn't necessarily my style, and that's okay. Not every person is gonna jive with every type of content, and I'm sure there are lots of people that connect with this sort of thing a lot more than I did. When I come online to watch a video, I'm either there to learn or there to seek out entertainment, which makes sense. Most of the people I watch either have very big or fun personalities, or they're really good at teaching me how to do something/educating me on a topic, usually in the arts and crafts department. I also just like sitting there and hearing stories. You happen to hit all of those notes, which is part of why I love coming to your channel every week. The idea of slowing down and just chilling out for a bit isn't something I'd normally do, and in some ways that can be nice, it's just more of something I'd do once in a blue moon. XD Still a good video Bunnie, keep being you. Hope life and work are treating you well!

All was going well with mine, until I got to the wiring for the lights. The wire kept breaking as I was twisting the bunch to finish the light fitting. Someone told me to watch your video. You made it look easy, I on the other hand was driven nuts by the wire. So thin that even trying to remove the outer sleeve broke he wire. The whole thing is about one step from the bin unless I can sort out the wiring.
